I have had good experiences with this Walgreen's over the few years that I have used the pharmacy. I am sorry for anyone who has had trouble in the past, but I've had great and friendly service every time.

I had to call the pharmacy twice today. It was a miserable experience. I took the time to have my prescriptions transferred to H‑E‑B. after the fiasco. I’m fairly new to the area, but I’ve never seen such poor service from a Walgreens. They need to hire more staff, or they may make prescription errors. Double check your RX until this place is under control. It’s like a dumpster fire!

I am disabled and on a fixed income. I could not afford one of my medications. I would have been able to afford it with a discount card however the pharmacist would not allow me to use it because she said that she had instituted a policy disallowing discount cards on certain medications. Totally unacceptable. They are the only pharmacy in a 50 mile radius that has this medication. *update to my review. I spoke with the store manager, Cathy, and she told me that the pharmacist told her that she made exceptions if she knew people’s circumstances. She would ask the pharmacist to make an exception for me. Then after several hours I called to check on the results and the pharmacist would not make an exception and emphatically stated that she has never made an exception for anyone regarding this matter. So, essentially I am being accused of trying to obtain medication to then sell as a drug dealer and I am being lied to by the management there. This is completely unacceptable. All of my calls have been recorded and Walgreens will be hearing about this. To accuse someone of a crime, deny them their medications, and lie to them is just completely UNACCEPTABLE.

I love my hometown pharmacy. Anytime i call or go in person I'm treated like a human, a real patient.The staff and pharmacist are amazing as well as knowledgeable and helpful not only in emergencies but when i myself am in need of answers or help. Julie is by far the best pharmacist I've ever had. They know me and about me. I love it here and suggest walgreens pharmacy to all friends and family.(sometimes even strangers).

The drive through should be for dropping off and picking up only. If someone has to wait for a prescription to be ready should let the next car get their stuff instead of just blocking everyone else. I waited for a long time for the truck in front of me to move and it took me 3 minutes max to get my stuff because I was sure it was ready.

I've used Walgreens for my prescriptions for about 15-20 years in multiple locations and states, but recently switched to another pharmacy after consistent bad experiences at this location. Wait times at the drive through were already long before they permanently blocked off the second lane, and now you should expect a solid 40 minute wait or more.There is also an issue at this location with keeping customers informed . When I had COVID and desperately needed medications in order to stay out of the hospital, my pickup person waited in the lot for the app to show that the meds were ready to pick up. When it came to the point that the pharmacy would be closing with there still being no update, I called and was told that they had decided (without asking or notice) to put the two scripts aside until my doctor's office opened the following Monday, as they wanted to ask him to change it to a different brand. Had they called to notify me, I would have clarified that one of them was an emergency inhaler and needed to be filled immediately.In regards to shopping, I have never had an issue with this location. It's kept clean and organized, with items easy to find.

Impossible to get a hold of with regular 2 hours on hold, lines down the aisles for the pharmacy, often out of stock, and absurd wait times in the drive through even when the lines are relatively short. I truly believe they don’t bother to answer phones purposely because they are overwhelmed. This pharmacy is overloaded with business, not blaming the staff which always looks exhausted from excessive demands. Pick another pharmacy!!

My husband had eye surgery at Memorial Herman Surgical Center. He was instructed to bring his meds with him the day of the surgery. We had them filled at Walgreens the day before. He has been a customer there for years.The nurse failed to give his meds back to him. He went to Walgreens and explained the situation to the pharmacist. He only needed a days worth of the eye meds. We planned to go back to Memorial Herman Surgical Care to get the original meds. The pharmacist refused to help him.

Never had a big problem with customer service in the store. People are usually pretty nice. Prices are high and I tend to go other places if I can. Pharmacy is pretty good but trying to get a person from the pharmacy on the phone is hell. And also had problems with coupon use.

It's been awhile since I've filled my prescriptions at Walgreens but they never seem to disappoint. Not to sure who Lexy is but she had such an amaxing positive attitude and was super helpful! Coming from someone who has work in a pharmacy for almost 11 years I know it can get super busy and stressful at times. Keep up the great work team your amazing customer service rocks!!!!

Very busy pharmacy. Changed to CVS because it is impossible to get through to them on the phone (for me or my doctor!) without a 30 minute plus wait. Store part as expected. I still prefer the store part over CVS.

I work for a local Dr and I E prescribed a medication. Pt came stating they would not fill rx I sent only the generic forms which patient can't take. I called to let pharmacy know and a rude tech named Lauren yelled at me and talked down to me like I was dumb and in a hateful tone. Not helpful at all and definitely not professional. She needs training on customer service

This location IS BY FAR THE WORST IN TEXAS!!!! I'VE USED Walgreens my entire life! I've been on ADHD meds my entire life. And I live on a fixed income. I was in Bay City to visit my mother in law and had my monthly tele-health and rx scheduled during my week in Bay City. This Walgreens location individually decided THEY DON'T WANT TO ACCEPT GoodRx for my certain type of medication. So since even the store manager couldn't override this HEINOUS INCONSIDERATE RUDE DECISION OF THIS INDIVIDUAL PHARMACIST, to not accept discount plans on SchII MEDICATIONS, SHE TREATS EVERY CUSTOMER AS AN ABUSER OF SORTS, SO I was forced to pay 86$ instead of 17$ for a regular medication I take. I COULDNT transfer my type of medicine anywhere else not even a different location. Mind you, my regular Walgreens at home accepts GoodRx (NO ISSUES) from me without a problem. What a selfish inconsiderate thing this pharmacist insisted to do !!!!!! Some of the pharmacy techs behind the counter have known me for MANY YEARS, so I was highly OFFENDED AND disappointed by their decision to force me to pay FULL PRICE because other types of people choose to abuse a medication I take regularly....... I will FALL OFF A CLIFF WITHOUT A PARACHUTE BEFORE I EVER USE THIS PHARMACY AGAIN, NEVER EVERRRRRRR EVER !!!I ONLY wish that our complaints were heard and actually addressed, but NOPE, NOT BY THIS HUGE CORPORATION...... THEY ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE INDIVIDUALLY AS A PERSON, AND IT SHOWS !!SO I WARN ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING BECOMING A NEW CUSTOMER AT WALGREENS BAY CITY - DONT DO IT!!!! Literally the slowest Walgreen pharmacy I know of. No one should have to wait 15+ minutes for their prescription. Heck even the covid test. Get with program before you guys start losing your customers.

Longest wait ever to pickup medicine! Four cars and almost two hours to get medicine! Now been without medication for almost four weeks because apparently they can’t get medication in! Time to switch!

Every time I go there to make a purchase, most of the items are not in stock. Also, I try to use coupons for products and they NEVER honor them! I can buy the object on the picture of the coupon and they still won't honor it. I would rather drive 30 mins to the next town if I need an item from Walgreens.

Very rude disgusting attitude morning over weight manager with the messed up teeth lady, she approached me with an attitude since I was too early waiting the pharmacy to open since the pharmacist I have spoke last night said they open at 8am which it was a man pharmacist I told her & she said with an bad attitude “we do not have man pharmacist working back here we ONLY have woman pharmacist” so I responded back with calm voice & attitude so you saying they’re only ONE phamacist because I did speak to a man last night at 6pm & he told me they open at 8 so maybe he had miscommunication she responded back with more ruder attitude & tune smh she probably was racist because since I’ve moved into this town I came across so many racist people is ashame this world came to and I have ever experienced in my life people like her self shouldn’t be working in customer services industry she had very very bad poor attitude & Communication, Walgreens y’all need to hire someone who more people person & friendly to ANY kind of race.
