I bought some items to prepare for the freeze and since I just bought a home in the country I didn’t know how much I would need or what all I would need.a lady took me around the store and told me what all I what need and what to do with it.( I appreciate her customer service). I asked at the check out if I don’t need or use it all can I return. They said I can return as long as the packages were in tack. I come in today to return some items and was told there policy says I cannot return items that I bought due to a freeze. This was my first time shopping here and I even joined their membership. Needless to say I will be ending that membership and not returning to shop here. Very disappointing!

Let's face this most a man's Toy R' Us, but I am surprised the have an area for some decorations and home scent need for the ladies browse in. I only go with my husband, but I am not much of shopper. I do recommend it for the ladies who like gardening, grilling and outdoor decorations, plus the candle part for indoors.

I really like that there are always plenty of friendly staff who are happy to help out. The store has the usual range of hardware and related products, is easy to get to and park at, and generally nothing to fault.

This store is in an adjacent town. It’s our first choice when visiting. The selection of products is huge and the staff are always helpful and attentive. Highly recommended.

I really hate going there. They always treat people like you're going to steal. They have some neat stuff, but God forbid you try to look around. You'll have 5 different associates constantly in your way "checking on you." The "Bumper" guy was the worst.

Answered all my questions. Very knowledgeable. Very helpful. Highly recommend. Need a new key FOB for my car. They will be able to get it for me. Checked other places with no success. Happy that I called them.

Only place to get propane in a 25 mile radius. There are other places, but they either don't want to work or they don't measure up to the standard of service I get from the staff here at Ace Hardware

Incredibly friendly staff and very good parking!I prefer to go to Ace over the other hardware stores just because I know it's a nice place to go. It's clean, well organized, and well lit. When I do need help, the staff are all fantastic.

Was having a bad day lawnmower would not stay running decided it was time for a new one went to my local ace was about 10 minutes after closing told the lady I want to buy a lawnmower ask me are you paying in cash doesn't matter how I'm paying as long as I'm a paying customer I thought. Still looking for a new zero turn maybe tractor supply has one.

Ace Hardware in Bay City, TX has an extremely helpful and friendly staff. The store is laid out in a very organized manner. I feel like the prices are extremely reasonable. The only thing I wish is that they didn't close at 7 on weekdays lol! I get out of work too late on some days to make it before they close!

I bought a Penn saltwater fishing reel here the other day and the customer service was extraordinary. Sandy helped me and when I had a slight problem with the way something was setup with the line on it she did not hesitate to make it right. Friendly and helpful. I will be back whenever I am in Bay City.

Very well laid out and stocked for most needs. *Rude.. updated..5/6/21.Had met owner today and seen what type of man walks without God again. Started a conversation about a repair and he blew me off and walked away to do something he thought was more important then finishing what we started for service on a piece of equipment. He didn't like that it wasn't purchased at his store and told me flat out he didn6think I was telling the truth and where I purchased my equipment. I'm a certified OPE graduate and small business owner graduate as well. He should consider going back to school and learning how to operate a business with better ethics and mannerism. I'm also a spiritual advisor and healer. I will use a better place for my needs until he can treat people respectfully,I will not return here or suggest that anyone else does. Great, great, great service, staff is amazing and very helpful whenever we go for something we need. The management should be very happy with the staff here. I feel it's the best ACE hardware store we have been too. We travel a lot and visited many ACE stores. This one is on my Best List for sure!

This store is our favorite place to browse & shop. We rarely walk out of here empty handed, always finding something we like if we don't come for something specific. Employees are always asking if we need help, and when we do need it they come through for us. Checkout is a breeze with helpful smiling faces.
