They have a good selection of groceries, toys, and home goods. I like their pet food selection but it could be better.The folks working there are nice, but they don't enforce their mask policy well at all, despite signs literally everywhere that tell people masks are required. However, that's a failure on the part of the people who shop there who don't want to wear masks, not on the store's part.The store is clean and well-lit, and usually well-stocked. It's pretty easy to find what you need. Overall, I recommend the store.

This DG is too cluttered and the aisles are hard to navigate , everything is sloppy and unorganized. The main thing that irritated me though is the tacky hand written sign stuck on the window stating " NO MORE THAN 3 KIDS AT A TIME IN STORE AND NO BACKPACKS". This store is located across the street from the middle school. This is pure discrimination against kids. Like it or not , "kids" are people too. What if the sign said Only 3 old ppl, or only 3 black ppl , or only 3 white ppl, only 3 disabled ppl..... ETC . I complained to the manager but was told he didn't care, hes not changing his stance. I refuse to give them my business if this is how they treat PEOPLE! I feel sorry for the kids that just want to go in a business and buy a cold drink after school only to be told via a rude discriminatory sign they are unwelcome and must wait out in the Texas heat 100 degree weather to make a purchase. DISCRIMINATION OF ANY KIND IS DISCRIMINATION!

I know first hand how hard this job is, and even when there is a good staff a couple bad apples can ruin your whole experience in the store. They just do as they please and it seems like they don't hold their employees up to as high of a standard as they did just 2 years ago. I do credit that the store it's self has definitely started looking better, you can really see who actually takes pride in their job and the store.

Down town Bandera location is extremely mismanaged. Restocking carts setting in and blocking isle's. Shelves are a mess. They may have good prices but the store is a mess and staff just complains about everything.

I went in for 70 SPF sunscreen and while they had it the cheaper bottles had already been sold out, it wasn't a bad experience per se I was just upset with the fact that the good sale items were not even on the Shelf

Store was very messy, lots of stuff in the ilses. I thought maybe it was restocking day. My Mom, who lives close by and goes to the store frequently, told me that it was ALWAYS that way. Everytime I have been there since, it's like being a mouse in a maze, looking for what you need and then looking up suddenly and your face is a 1/2 inch away from a stack of boxes. It's crazy, I mean come hire a stock person or something, get it together guys.!!!

Went in to ask for boxes and asked an employee if they had any and was told once they are put in the back they cant get them from there. I politely asked to speak to a manger with the response I am the manager and then laughed in my face. What kind of employees do you hire at Dollar General?

It is like Walmart, I can't just go in and get one item nope I have to check out everything. See what deals they got going on. Great employees very friendly and helpful.

I can find pretty much everything I need . Nice staff only negative is isles are narrow and being visually impaired it can be difficult to maneuver. All in all a good experience.

It's clean and cheap there is chais at time but the workers try and keep new items stocked some are friendly and will help especially Linda. I just wish there were better sales

It's pretty sad or nice depending on your perspective, to know there are 2 stores in town that on like items sold by Lowe's Market are consistently significantly cheaper.

Place has good prices but not nessicarily quality merchandise. They stock most everything!!! I gave it an o.k. rating but as you can see in the photo it's haunted!!!

This is apparently the most popular be shopping Mart in town because be there's ALWAYS a huge line. Service is pretty fast and friendly, so it's not so bad.
