Staff was friendly and helpful - which I expected, as hardware stores like this generally distinguish themselves from the big box stores by providing excellent service. What really impressed was the selection and prices that shamed any big box or hardware stores where I live in Houston. This location is a tremendous asset to the community and will be our go-to for our hardware and ranch needs when in the area.

I have been going there for many years. Even now, a days when I visit my son, I go in looking for stuff. They are very thoughtful people willing to help you in any way. They may be a little bit higher then like SA but lots better in person to person help that actually are there and want to help the customer. So, with all that said, if you go through Bandera and need a little help with plumbing or any job, stop on in and talk to the good old boy and gal's.

I just moved to Bandera. My wife and I have shopped here for items we need to install our electric to our house. The staff are so kind, welcoming, and helpful. I always enjoy shopping here to say hello to the staff while I get what we need.

As always, I found everything I was looking for with lots of help when you need it. and the prices are just as good as anywhere else and everyone is friendly. If you haven't been in a hardware store in a while, I highly recommend a walk through this store. I promise you will find lots things you have been wanting around your house. Anyway, most of us need a good walk, why not do it in the A/C while browsing the firearms or light fixtures!

We were picking up hooks and other items to hang up a sail cover for a porch. The young man that helped us was very nice. He stayed with us til we found everything we needed. We also talked about our dogs at the time.

No soap worker made my sandwich walked into bathroom after me and went right to the kitchen grabbing food. My sandwich was super old. Couldn’t finish it felt so grossed out.

Needed parts for my toilet. They had everything I needed and beyond. Plus the staff kept checking in on me while I was trying to make my decision on which parts to purchase. Gave me. Great advice. Super helpful. Totally recommend this place. The staff is absolutely the best.

Wonderful store with large variety of goods. The two employees I interacted with were very helpful and cheerful. Went in to get a backup battery for my home alarm system. Easily beats the price of other local hardware stores (even those in San Antonio). Happened to walk by the small gun selection and found they had the 5.7 ammo that is still relatively hard to find. Their price is as low as the lowest I can find in the greater San Antonio area.

Everyone was super helpful. They have a ton of plants, trees and shrubs in the garden department. Best of all they have a firearms for sale here. I didn’t expect that! Nice

Usually, they have what I need. They have very helpful and friendly employees/staff and it's very convenient because they're only about a mile from my shop. The money I save on gas more than makes up for a little higher prices on some items. 👍👍

True value is always great! I mean...who doesn't love a store with so many things you need that you could shop for an hour? But the True Value in Bandera is the absolute best, the store is so clean and well laid out. The customer service is over the top on point, for real, it's like how do they pay so many people to be there to help you...crazy good🙂

I love this True Value, hands down better than any hardware store in the surrounding area. The employees remember you and they're always very friendly most of the time... very happy to help and extremely kind and selfless. For being in a very small town, they have great prices. Comparably their prices aren't high they are pretty reasonable and considering inflation in general you can't spend the gas to drive to Kerrville, San Antonio or Boerne and get anything cheaper once your trip is over.... Sooo.... if you haven't been into the True Value in Bandera you need to go in there and browse around.... they have things that a lot of True Value or other hardware stores generally have, as far as unique gardening tools or gadgets. They have some nice gift ideas for anyone on/for any occasion which I've actually gone to Bandera just to go to True Value for. There are a few things that I frequently go back for because they always have them for less money than I'd spend locally. The guy that works in the key / tool area I wish I could remember his name I always forget it, he's got black hair he's been there forever... he is always above and beyond the most helpful of any sales associate that I've ever encountered at any store in my life he'll go the extra mile to help you in any way he can whether it's in his department or not. You never leave feeling like you didn't get the help you needed he'll answer all your questions... The gal at the paint counter is terrific too...she'll answer all your paint related questions and and she knows her stuff lastly the guys back in the guns and knives are awesome to they let you look at just about any knife you want to and as a woman I'd like to look at them all haha and they never seem inconvenienced or make you feel like you're wasting their time. I think I've covered it all I guess this is a long review because I can't find the right words to say about them and feel like I got my point across.... that they're just a fantastic group of people there love these guys/gals and I'll miss them tremendously when I move back to Missouri. I wonder if I could just take the store with me?.... riiiiight. Thank you all sooooo much for being you!!!!PS... they are pet friendly! Tank also thanks you.

Love True Value!This is a great hardware store that has a bit of everything!I can get home cleaning supplies, cat and dog supplies, bird supplies, pond supplies, guns&ammo, tools and equipment, gardening supplies and plants, general hardware, plumbing, electrical, RV hardware, you name it, they likely have it.Helpful staff throughout the store are friendly and always willing to help.This is a great little gem of a hardware store.

609 pm Wednesday True Value was the only place I could find to get new headlights for my bike so that I was able to make it back home safe. Reasonable pricing. Very helpful people.

I was surprised at the variety in this store. While I was there, I had 2 associates ask if I needed help. Was nice to see that it wasn't hard to get help to locate a couple of items I needed. I would return instead of going to find one of the larger hardware stores.
