I bought two Amazon gift cards and they are broken that I cannot redeem. The manager just said We need to call the 1-800 number but they told me to contact Amazon. What the hell going on here. They don't take any responsibility for whatever they sell and put customer on risk. I may lost 150 dollars and I don't feel comfortable to spend money on this kind of shop

The CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE CLEARLY OPENS WHEN THEY FEEL LIKE IT. It’s been over 6 MONTHS AND THIS PLACE STILL NEVER HAS SOMEONE HERE ON THE WEEKENDS FOR MONEY SERVICES. Yesterday my mother questioned a big back fat neck about why it’s never opened and was met with an attitude and a shoo away of the non- professionals hands. The female proceeded to argue and exchange insults with my mother like she was in the streets and off the clock G H E T T O 🤦🏾‍♀️

The shopping and cashier were great. But the lady at the customer service was on the phone with someone talking a normal conversation with someone she knew and wasn't listening to me on my service. While working and customers are there in line they shouldn't be on the phone with personal conversations. That was my only problem today.

Horrible service the lady that works in the flower department is rude. I called to ask a simple question and before she let me finish she interrupts me and says she can’t help me she don’t know anything about delivery which that wasn’t what I was going to ask about. And when I tried to tell her no that’s not what I was asking she continues again and says I can’t help you. I tried calling manager to let him or her know about the service and nobody picks up.

First of prices are probably the most of any near by store especially if you don’t use you rewards. They have things labeled as a certain price and then when you get to the checkout “oh…you have to buy six of those to get that price. You didn’t read the fine print.” Why are they playing games like that? The their “New Locked In Low Price” tags they have everywhere…they’re not locked in or low. I went one week and seen a “locked in low price” for Community Coffee and then the next week it jumped up almost $2. Their old donuts they have sitting around getting hard sell for $6.99 a dozen. Thats as much as the donut store down the street where you can get them fresh for that much.Add to that EVERYTIME when you go now, for the last two months these people walking around harassing you to buy electricity. I just wanna shop. Set up a booth or something and if people wanna come talk to you about electricity….fine…but following me (and others) around the store so they can find their next victim? And I do mean victim…these people try to tell you you’re just signing up to receive more information but once you give them your info the they sell your email and other info to other businesses. Expect to get 100 emails the first week from places you don’t expect. One guy tried to tell me “just click ‘I accept’ it’s just saying that you agree to have us send you more info” but he didn’t know I read exceptionally faster than most others and seen where he was tryin to get me to sign to give them the authority switch my electric company over to them and pay a $250-$300 disconnect fee if I decided I didn’t like the service.See, the thing is…I’ve been coming to this Kroger since I was a little kid. The fact that these managers allow people to walk around and scam people with this electric switcharoo scam boggles my mind. There’s seniors out there that go in thinking they can trust Kroger but this Kroger is straight playing games with people to make a couple dollars. DO NOT FALL FOR THE ELECTRICITY SCAM AND WARN YOUR RELATIVES THAT SHOP HERE.From the electricity salespeople to the prices…it comes down to bad management. I saw a girl the other day working hard by herself to both check out and bag groceries. The manager came up (messed up hair, taller guy, shirt half untucked)and was talking to her and could see she was in the weeds and very busy with customers. He didn’t even bother to try to help her, me, or any customers. I guess he’s one of those “I’m the manager we don’t bag groceries and help out employees when they need help THEY work for US.”Anyway…sorry so long…I just hate to see this Kroger like this…I haven’t seen it this badly managed in all the years I’ve been going. Time for me to find a new store I guess.

Get new people for the pharmacy. they're miserable doing THEIR JOB. I went Thursday for my son's medication, they only gave me 1 bcus the other 2 "weren't ready" , I was told they will call me the next day when it'll be ready, I didn't get a call so I come up there Saturday, gave them an extra day bcus I didn't want excuses. They act dumb like if there's no medication that needs to be picked up, I'm there telling them they told me it'll be ready Friday. I get told "well you didn't pick up on time, so we put it back, & we don't have enough to give you until monday." ALWAYS ISSUES WITH THOSE RAGGEDY PEOPLE IN THE PHARMACY.

Lots of discounts if you need quick meals. I love shopping sales and clearance but they are soon to expire so must consume within a few days of buying.

It’s always dirty, it stinks, the produce is nat infested and rotten, the floors are filthy, the Krogers in Mesquite are much nicer highly recommend the extra drive. This is my last resort.

This is one of my favorite grocery store usually this is a pretty good all around the store and some of the cashier's are as well. There fruit is fresh, deli is ok, I say okay because I bought a tuna salad sandwich and it was soggy.. I bought this tape recently and thinking it will stay in place.

I received the worst service of my life today. I would give their bakery and customer service 0 stars if I could. I have bought many cakes from Kroger in the past and never had any issues but today I received a call at 12:30pm informing me that they had barely noticed that they had a cake order. I put my cake for pickup at 10:45am but they called past 12pm! Are they serious?? What if I would have actually needed the cake at 10:45 am!?! After that when I called saying I did still wanted the cake, the "decorator" said they didn't have the set to make it. I said that it was okay and you could hear how annoyed they were. Anyhow I get to Kroger and the ladies there told me that the decorator was mad that she had to decorate my cake. First off, she could have called me days ago in regards to the situation such as not having the set and she did not!! She's also a liar and told her co-workers at the bakery that she attempted calling me days ago. That is a complete lie! I don't have a single missed call from Kroger on my phone accept the one from that day. At this point their lazy excuse for a decorator was gone for the day. Which was probably a good thing. But anyhow this is a picture of how the cake should have looked like versus how it actually looked. I have no plans on ever buying a cake from Kroger ever again. I can also see why the decorator works at Kroger instead of a real bakery.Terrible service and 0 stars!

Store is ok. Manager Taylor or whatever he is , is a fricken jerk. Very rude unprofessional. He was seeing how busy customer care is doesn’t help with nothing. The poor guys needed quarters, he couldn’t even get the change for him, he just decides to open the door and have him do it himself, then goes and walks around. Being a good manager means you help out with something. Not just leave and walk away.

I was told by an employee/ cashier that she was too tired and she had a long day. So she didn't check me out. I had a basket full in self checkout. They also do not have any knowledge of where to find anything or if they carry the products. Just to watch her flirt with security. Wish I could do that at my job.

The night guys at checkout are very helpful and fun, wit great personalities, when stressful shopping with an otc card from insurance. Their very helpful relieving the embarrassment of possibly getting the wrong product, thank you young men!

When I tell you that self check out can be a real tricky thing and I believe it was the only way to check out. Fortunately, for me and other customers like me, the Kroger on Elam has an outstanding employee. Who quite frankly, needs a bonus, reward, or even a raise because Monica is awesome. Monica is her name and customer service and hard work is her game. I’m really glad that they have her because she almost brought me to tears to see how helpful she was. A elderly lady next to me forgot her groceries and she saw that and went out to find her and successfully found her in record time. While I was there she assisted me a few times. She also helped a few others. It was almost a one woman show. Monica handled everything in a professional and nice manner. Kroger please do something nice for her she truly deserves it. I never write reviews but I am taking the time on my 15 minute break because I don’t want to let this wonderful person slip my mind and neither should y’all. Monica I will be praying for you that you are blessed beyond measure.

This one star is for the pick up order section. The reason for this review is that it has been several occasions where I place an order for pick up at it shows time slots from 8-8:30 and 8:30-9 available so I choose those pick up times and I am always called to go pick up my order earlier because nobody is going to be there. Not sure what’s going on but if those pick up times are never available then why are they even an option. I mean, no I cannot pick up my order earlier if I could I would’ve chosen an earlier time slot. I pick the time I pick for a reason. I mean seriously if there is never anybody there then REMOVE THOSE TIME SLOTS. Like tonight I am unable to pick up my order earlier so now I’m left without an order!

Store has really gone down hill. Cluttered. Rude staff. Bill pay office employees slow and confused. Self checkout machines are a joke! I have shopped here for 30 years. It's never been as bad as is now. May do business somewhere different. Also, bill pay office is closed more than open.

Online grocery order and pickup is great but sometimes can be hit and miss with accidentally not getting 1 or 2 of your items. However with a quick phone call to the dept at store location, Misty is the amazing fixer. We truly appreciate her and her communication with us. She's professional and efficient. She makes sure the customer is happy and does it with a smile you can see through the phone! Thank you misty and the rest of the crew for grocery order and pickup. They are always very kind and helpful when bringing groceries to your vehicle. ♥️

This store is small and needs to be updated there's always tons of shoppers any day of the week and most of the staff are great but a few are duds. I usually go through self checkout but today I let the big guy checker scan my groceries while he rattled on continuously about Celtic music the entire time and stood there blabbing while I bagged all my own groceries.

Since I've been going to kroger in Balch Springs I've really enjoyed all the employees and management they are all the greatest and now I'm gonna be moving to waco and gonna miss kroger. Yall keep up the great service and won't find a better place like yall

Prices are okay ( with rewards number) it's usually not too busy and cashiers are fast and friendly. The story is clean and organized and parking is never a problem. The associates seem friendly and knowledgeable. The bakery has good items. The selection is what you would expect and it always seems well stocked. I shop here a lot because it's a nice place.

This store needs some major help! Some of the employees should not be working here. Associate at the self checkout was confused and I am telling you really confused about which machine took cash and which was card only. Most of the time only two cashiers checking out with no one to bag your groceries so you are standing in line IN THE WAY for at least 30 minutes +You see tons of workers everywhere standing around chit chatting, mean while you bag your own groceriesSo sad because there is not many groceries stores in the hood and this is why. AND YES THIS THE HOOD

I was physically assaulted and unknowingly recorded today while shopping for food for my family. The manager put me out for language I used toward the two men who assaulted me and told me to call corporate. After shopping at this location for seven years it is sad to see a manager let a woman get attacked and don't even attempt to call the police. I have called corporate and I will from this point forward make sure they provide better security if this the last thing I do because I should not feel afraid to go to the grocery store or be unjustly punished as a victim of assault
