I spoke with Chelsea and she was extremely sweet and informative. You can tell that even if none of the pets at their shelter wasn’t what we were looking for, her main concern were the animals itself and the family. I loved every bit of our conversation. I give this place 10 stars if I could👏🏽

Kept my dogs for a week without contacting me or microchipping company. Went to court and Manager Chelsea lied & said they tried to contact me even though she apologized 2 weeks prior that it was their fault. Told me if I got shots and registration taken care of the tickets would be dropped & I still came home with over 2,000 in tickets for 3 dogs. While another man was there for 2 tickets for 3 of his dogs. They never answer the phone. Don’t pick up actually homeless dogs but ticket you for having your dog chipped & coming to pick them up is crazy. Worst city animal shelter I’ve ever been to. Seagoville is 1000% better

When we went in there were smiles to welcome us. They got us in fast. We even fell in love with an dog. We named her Zoey Grace! There was great service and good dogs. The place was even clean and all the animals had food and water!!!

Me and family have been on the search for a dog for almost 4 months now, when we found one dog, it was one hour away. Me and my family where willing to go that far, so when we got there, they said the dog got adopted 2 days ago. but the thing is, when we asked 2 days ago if she was still available they said she was. Not only that but the day after she got adopted they still told us she was available. When we got to the shelter they finally decided to tell us, and they also didn’t even welcome us in or say hello. The worker at the front desk just stayed on his computer and didn’t even bother looking up. Very unprofessional. It was rude how they basically lied and made us waste our gas and time going there. Atleast look up and say hello.

This shelter is just terrible. My dogs got out and we’re picked up by animal control and I was literally here to get my dogs at 4:36 and they said I had to get them before 4:30. 6 minutes late and they wouldn’t let em take my dogs home. I come to get them today and they’re filthy, they threw their collars away and told me I couldn’t have them back. This place is horrible and the dogs they have here are kept in horrible conditions. I wouldn’t recommend getting a pet from this shelter what so ever.

The staff is very professional and the are very caring to the animals. The facility is always clean and the animals are greatly taken care of. I would highly recommend that everyone goes to the shelter and adopt an animal and give them a forever home. The staff really care about the animals and you can tell in the way that they care for them.

The Animal Control Officers there are really working hard to achieve positive outcomes for the animals there. They need more rescues to pull from there because they don't get much walk in traffic for adoptions. They also just established a volunteer program, and they need more people who can walk dogs and socialize the animals.

The simple fact I don't like about this shelter is that they open real late and they leave early so every time you do try to get ahold of them when you see an animal out in the street it's hard to get somebody that's only thing I don't like about this place is there time

I love this shelter. The 3 staff members ..++truly love the animals and want what is best for them. This shelter is underfunded and short staffed. However, the staff bust their rears to care for the animals in their care and in the community. The shelter is always clean and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend this shelter.

They have really improved this facility since I last adopted a dog there. Staff is very friendly. Kennels are clean. Nice area to visit with dogs before adopting to get to really meet the animal.

I ALWAYS see loose dogs on Peachtree road. GET TO WORK! I called 4 times in a row no answer. I witnessed 5 loose dogs running down Woodbury road. I always see children playing outside and there's a park a street over, this a dangerous situation and a hazard to the community.

I called about a opossum in my yard where my kids play worried it might have rabbies because it was out during the day they told me they can't help unless it's in a trap WTH!! So what is the animal control for if you can never help with anything??!! Why are these ppl paid? And another time I called about a stray dog and they came out once he tried to walk up to dog and said he can't catch her right now he would come back with a female employee to help Cath dog they never came back. Horrible service!!!!

rude employees that don’t do their job. we called so they could take some kittens and their mom because they were wandering outside, and we were told that the maintenance people from our neighborhood were supposed to get them, when their job is to work on the buildings, not capture animals...

I took a puppy that I found a couple days ago, I couldn’t find the owners, I couldn’t find someone that would keep her and give her the love and attention she deserves, so I took her to the animal Shelter. The staff was very kind when he took her from us.

I Got A 1 Year Old Dog, Had Her For A Week. She Never Ate, Never Drank Anything, She Was Always Tired And Out Of Breath, She Started Pooping Blood And Uncontrollably Vomiting In My House . All Within A Week . The Vets Had To Put Her Down . Dogs Should Be Fully And Throughly Checked Before The Let Them Go For Adoption .

This shelter is a kill shelter.Told us to turn loose 5 kittens on the street or they just put them down.These are not my kittens.Needs a new shelter not thus one.why do we pay tax s and donations for.Why do we have a shelter for.So heartless people They said there is no such thing as a no kill shelter.

Went to see if my dog was there at 3:58 damn doors locked lights out staff gone. They closed before four I know I arrived 2 minutes to close but they been closed!

I wish I could give zero stars!! I went to take a puppy that I found on the road and they refused it. They said they were full! They suggested I take the puppy back to where it was found and leave it there. How could you work at an Animal Shelter and be so heartless.

The staff here is very professional because sadly my dog name Luna kept jumping over our fence we couldn’t take care of her and we drop her of there they Took her with calm ness and didn’t heart her.
