My review is only based on customer service. The gentleman working there I didint catch his name. When I called and asked questions he first said something And I couldn't understand him but before I could ask what he said he then hung up. So I called again and basically the same thing happened. He's very rude and stuck up. Very poor customer service . I feel like if he is that unhappy then customer service should probably not be his first priority in a job. 🤷‍♀️

Don’t buy anything electrical. They do not accept any electrical returns, no matter what. I bought an electrical adapter, got home and realized it wasn’t going to work out. Went back 15 minutes later, just to get refused on the return. Never took it off the packaging. Much less out of my vehicle. No way I could return something that I didn’t need. I’ll never walk into that POS store again. Very rude about it.Thank you at ace hardware in Bacliff, Tx.

Went to purchase replacement water filters. One was 9.99 the other 12.99. I noticed the girl pulling the price tag off and she charged me 14.99. Twice, I said something but she ignored me both times. Another employee said they are suppose to sell it for the price tag price.

Small town hardware store. But is very well stocked. They also have a good selection of lumber. Personnel are very knowledgeable and they know where everything is at in the store. A big plus to me when I'm in a hurry to get in and out .

Outdated and RUDE! I placed an order online for in store pickup. First they didn't understand what I was talking about, "we don't use order numbers".They finally went to check (already have email notification that they have it), only 11 of the 35 items were in the store.After receiving blank stares and shoulder shrug, I asked if they were going to call and look into it. "No, I guess you have to call". REALLY!?!The customer service representative was very helpful and called the store directly and was accosted by the manager!!!

I needed a copy of a camper key made, called and asked if they had the right blank for the key and the woman I spoke with said "I think so but you should probably come check" well okay. My mother stopped by the next day and was told by a very nice man that they were out of the key blanks in that size currently but they would be getting another shipment on friday. Friday rolls around and I call to make sure they have the keys in before driving all the way to Baycliff. The woman I spoke with said yes. Keep in mind I live a half hour away, this was the only hardware store in my area that supposedly had this key blank. I arrive at the store and wait ten minutes for the only associate who knows how to use the key machine to become available only to be told they did not have the key, and had no way of knowing when they would get more. When I told the associate I had just called about an hour before and was told they had them in stock she said I must have spoken with "suzie" that's it, and to order it online. Two stars because the woman I spoke with was semi apologetic and there were two friendly office cats I got to pet while I waited.

Been dealing with Bacliff Builders Supply for over 40 years. They're a nice "hometown" hardware store. They have provided me with materials for my daily "run & maintain" activities and also building materials to rebuild my home after 2 hurricanes.
