Pharmacy is horrible, was prescribed 5 medications and they failed to mention they were out of stock for 4/5 of them. So I had to wait an extra hour just for them to call another Walgreens and have them bring the medication to there and fill it. I was the one that caught their mistake and I wasn’t even given an apology for the wait or how they forgot the medication. The staff seems new and very unorganized

as of 1/24/24, daytime shop is absolute trash. employees harassed my boyfriend and i about our passports. woman told us we have to have our ears showing. it says on the passport website and papers they don't need to be showing.she got some man to help and he was literally the worst part about it. guy misgendered me, i called him out on it, dude then proceeded to ignore me purposefully. he kept harassing my boyfriend about his piercings in the picture (which we are allowed to have lmfaoooo) and even went to the manager asking if the picture was okay to use. its our pictures, we're paying for them, literally dude screw off. we told him more than enough times to let it go. he did not.horrible experience. never coming to this walgreens again. that was so unprofessional and absolutely disgusting.

What is the point of having the app to request refills when EVERY MONTH the date on my prescription bottle and the app say one day but when I call to check the status of my script which says in progress is wrong and the pharmacy staff says it can't be released for several days away. I called this morning at 1030 am and was told that it would be ready in an hour. I then called back at 1pm and suddenly it can't be released for 3 more days. I don't understand why they told me this morning that it would be ready in 1 hours, but then a few hours of waiting later, I called to check the status again and now it can't be released for several days. The app sucks, and the staff gave me wrong information this morning. I requested the refill the 27th and has been in progress since. So why did the staff tell me this morning, the 28th, that it would be ready in an hour. To string me alone to only suddenly say it was too early to release. I'm 73 and disabled and don't understand why the bottle and the app say one day and even the first staff member I spoke with this morning said it would be ready later today. Then a few hours later now it isn't going to be available until the 31st. This is ridiculous. You need to put the correct date on the app and bottle and there would be no confusion. I wish you could put accurate info on the medicine bottle and the app. Very disappointed in this pharmacy.

It's 4PM and whoever is on the phones at the pharmacy answers and hangs up after leaving you on hold for over 15 mins. I have been trying to call about a prescription for over 2hrs and not been able to get a hold of anyone. Each time they answer and wait for you to speak before audibly putting the phone down and hanging up.

I had a prescription called in by my doctor and called ahead of time to see when it would be ready. A pharmacy staff answered, said hold please and put me on hold. I was left on hold for 42 minutes. No check in, no thank you for holding or hey we’re busy would you mind calling us back in say 10 minutes, NOTHING.I drove up there, gave them my name, explained my doctor called in a prescription. I was told, my prescription was next in line and to give them 20 minutes because they were swamped. I said no problem and that I would wait in the store. The man at the pharmacy said he would call me over the intercom when it was ready.I sat in the chair in front of the pharmacy reading a magazine, while I waited. 40 minutes later the same man called out to me “Ma’am your prescription is ready”. I went up to the counter and he said “I was like, it’s been ready.”SERIOUSLY. I’m thinking to myself why didn’t you call me over the intercom like you said you would! I have no way of knowing if it’s ready!I didn’t say anything or make a scene. I just paid for it and left.I strongly believe the pharmacy staff are overworked, tired and forced to work short staffed. I’m sure they just want to get through their day and don’t have time to be caring, understanding or focus on customer service.Walgreens needs to do a LOT better….Take care of your employees so they are able and willing to take care of your customers.

I waited 1 hour after my doctor sent in my prescription to this location. I was told to wait for 30 minutes. I came back in 30 minutes and have been waiting for 1 hour and 50 minutes and my Precription is still not filled. The management needs to review their operation in this location seriously.

I went to this place for a 2 by 2 passport size photo for online my application. They first printed a hard copy of the photo after 20 minutes and charged me around 16$ while I clearly mentioned I need a soft copy. Then they did the softcopy for another 7 bucks after keeping me waiting for another 30 minutes. After coming home, I found the soft copy photo has a black shade over and I had to use online editors to fix it. Too much unprofessionalism. I will never go to the photo lab in this Walgreen again.

I’m giving two stars because some of the pharmacist are nice but I should only give one star. Numerous times now they have closed with out notice and I was not able to get my needed medication due to them being closed at the time it’s supposed to be ready. I think it’s very rude and inconsiderate to operate the way they do. At this point this has gone on for several months. If they aren’t going to have the staff to stay open for the hours they are posted, then they should change the hours of operations. If that can’t be done, maybe they should close the pharmacy or this location if it can’t serve the people in a reasonable time frame. I’ve held on hoping that it would get better but I can’t. I will be transferring my prescriptions to another location. I highly recommend going anywhere but here.

The staff is usually courteous and polite. I mainly go here for the pharmacy and it's usually a quick trip. Most times I feel rushed and some times they forget to add my rewards card when I pick up. The place is clean and the sales are usually pretty good. The lines can get pretty long but they are usually quick to get another cashier on

They need to hire more pharmacist. Every time I come to pick up prescription, it takes forever, like minimum of 15-30+ minutes, (once it took 45mins), and that’s because they only have 1 pharmacist and 1 tech helping, but if pharmacist has a appointment, then everything comes to a complete halt waiting for pharmacist badge.

All of the sudden they close at 10 pm with no rationale or warning. Even after COVID changed everything and did away with 24 hr shopping this location stayed open until midnight, making it the only store in a very large area open past 10pm. Nowadays if you need something after 11 pm in Austin, you’re screwed. Even convenience stores close early.You can bet your life that those at the top realized during the pandemic when business hours suddenly changed and stores closed super early that they could make more money and pay less in wages if they closed x number of hours earlier. So what if there’s a small customer base that tends to shop after 10 pm, we’ll adjust. We have no choice!

Pharmacy is absolutely great. Always really accommodating but I showed up at 8:57 pm and my prescriptions weren't called in ahead of time by my doctor for today. They still rushed to fill it. Hands down the best here.

Even though most of the employees and customers didn’t have masks on, you were required to wear a mask to go into the restrooms and use the bathroom for some reason. I do quite a bit of shopping at Walgreens but not anymore, they just lost my business, and I will be sure to let as many people as possible know to avoid Walgreens from now on.

I went to this location by mistake to pick up a prescription. I was miserable and almost in tears at thinking about driving to the right store. They reassured me they could transfer my RX and had me in and out in 10 minutes. On top of that, I provided my discount coupon for one of them, and the kind tech who rang me up found another coupon for the other medicine, which cut the cost in half. So grateful for their service.

Came in to grab some over the counter medicine quickly on my way to work. When I got to the cash registers there were no employees around. No big deal - I was the only patron in the store so I figured the cashier went to attend to other issues while they had the chance. As I walked around to find someone to let them know I'd like to pay, I found an employee a few aisles away. As soon as she saw me she said very rudely "I saw you. I'm coming as fast as I can. I have to stock shelves and do other things too, you know." I hadn't said a word or even given her a facial expression. She just assumed I was mad when I wasn't. Extremely unprofessional and rude.

The workers here are slow, and not helpful at all. I've been here twice, and both times I had to wait behind one person for over 15 mins because the cashier didn't know how to press some buttons. Then both times I've been redirected to another register to another cashier, and they had a hard time logging in just to check out my two items.Go to a different Walgreen's... unless you have half an hour to kill.

I didn't follow the crowd during the recent run on toilet paper, now I'm down to two rolls at the house. I just happened to be driving by so I thought I'd stop in just to check if they had any. I ran into an employee who I thought was maybe a manager and as I said "excuse me I just..." And Shee immediately started motion me to hurry up with her hands. Then when I finished me question she gave me a sharp no and walked away while rolling her eyes. There were only two other customers in the store that I could see and both were being helped by other people.I live less than a mile from here but will not be coming back.

The catering service is a absolute joke. No help whats so ever. When I did come to pick up my food, I ended up having to walk down aisles, finding my own food like I was at some drug store. Turns out they only have take-out and no servers what-so-ever!

I lived over there for 5 years and I have NEVER had an issue with the pharmacy.. both my daughter and I use the online service which both calls you to refill your RX or it will email you & all you have to do is reply to the email and my RX was ready for me by the time I got home from work. Also, your doctor should be calling in new RX's plus they can do it online thru a systems all doctors have access to where they send the request over and you go pick it up... products & service was never an issue for us. Yes the Pharmacy staff could maybe a hair nicer but considering the volume you all mention & those folks who like to just walk in and expect it to be done Johnny on the Spot, I'm ok with them all... I give this store 5 stars... :)Melissa P.

I usually stop by to grab last minute stuff. I mostly use it for prescriptions. I decided to get vaccinated because I heard it’s fast and usually the staff is decent. Never going back! The pharmacist is who gave me the vaccines I was requiring, but he was so lazy and careless that he gave me both vaccines in the same area. My arm is now super bruised and swollen. Worst experience ever!!

Straight up f***ed me on antibiotics with no insurance, charged me 90$ and since I had an abcess I just paid it and took them because I was in agony. Same script is 15$ on GoodRx at Walmart. By all means if you want to buy your pills from the local crack dealer freestylin prices come to WALGREENS!!
