I was running later than usual to my usual dog wash and called in advance to give a heads up. Unfortunately, I arrived just seconds past the automatic cancel policy enforced by the registration system, but thankfully Jill and staff were able to help me out in a pinch. I love this location - the folks are friendly and kind, and the dog wash and store are always super clean. My boys love the treats too. Thanks!

I wanted to give the Farwest team a shoutout for the great customer service!I wanted to also give a special shoutout to Shelia. I always buy too many things from this store and Shelia is always so kind to help me carry it all out to my Jeep…even a big box of raw food for our pups. I really appreciate all the kindness and patience given. You guys deserve 10 stars ⭐️

Such a great team - I was running incredibly late and had no choice but to stop for dog food because we were completely out. I called the Far West location and got Shiela who, while we were on the phone, looked me up, figured out what I needed, and then rang me up over the phone. When I got to the shop they ran it out to the car for me. it saved me so much time, I got to where I was going on time, and she was so friendly and kind about all of it!

Tomlinson's has a great selection of hard to find, high quality, pet food, treats, and accessories. Their staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Plus they have cute Christmas cookies for pooches.As an added bonus, they work with shelters to get pets adopted, usually having a few cats in the store that are available to adopt. I'm not sure what more I could ask from a pet store.

This is a great store and has a really nice kitten room where you can see adoptable kittens. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. I often meet adopters here to hand my foster kittens off to them, and the employees are always super friendly and helpful to these folks - they make sure they're all set up with everything they need for their new friend. Really love this location.

Shout out to Karen and Maddie at the Far West location, I wanted to get a shirt for my dogs and they didn’t have the size/colors I wanted in the store, so Karen was kind enough to call another location and place one on hold for me. Maddie saw me struggling trying to open a ladder to check out the airline crates and offered to help. Some would say they were just “doing their job”, but I really appreciated how personable and friendly they both were. Now if @Tomlinsons could just open a location in Waco, that would be great!! In the meantime, I guess I’ll just have to stop in at the Far West store when in Austin:)

Karen is The Best! She helped me with food questions & options cuz our 17 yr young dog Madison has become finicky. She even provided me with some samples to see if something new would work & it did! Excellent selection of high quality pet goods. Amazingly attentive staff. They have a really cool dog wash booth.... $15 for 30 minutes. With awesome shampoos and stuff to make bathing not the worst thing ever for the pups.

The team at the Far West Blvd. Tomlinson's is full of super attentive, friendly, helpful pet loving people. My two cats get the best because we spoil them. Thanks to Tomlinson's its easy and enjoyable to shop for all their needs close to our home. The store is always stocked well and the prices with the discount club are reasonable.

The cashier/clerk at the Far West store was very helpful w finding a specialty food for a cat w multiple diet issues and helping get shipping questions answered. Our Rx food for our guy is always on back order at online pet stores so I have to have alternatives. I've always heard about this pet store but never made the effort. They even have a locally made canned product that helps reduce carbon footprint. Sometimes I am frustrated with young clerks because it seems young means on the phone or disinterested in their job (yeah, I'm a boomer). This young lady cared to assist and was pleasant and interested. Thanks, young brunette w a big smile.

Just came in to give Big Bodhi Dog a bath today, but everyone was super nice & helpful. Self-serve bath was pretty great, good supplies, well set up, and clean when we came in. (Sorry, y'all! Lol.) Bodhi never loves a bath, but this made it pretty easy to do alone!If I had one point to improve? The door on the tub is a little tough to do by yourself, with a big dog, who does not want to be there.

Always warmly greeted and appreciate so much their input on recommendations. And my last visit they came through for me being open later into the evening so I could run in after dinner to get something last minute. Curbside was my first ever experience and it operated efficiently and easily.

Staff are always super kind! I bring my dog here to get his monthly bath and they have everything you need. My dog is a bit anxious but the kind staff are always welcoming and helpful when it comes to the bathing station.

Love this store! I shop all Tomlinson locations. Their leather dog toys hold up longer than any other toy from my chewing english bulldog puppy and she loves them!!!

There were 2 employees there. 1 greeted us and offered to help us find what we were there for. She was great. The other employee never said anything to us and just watched us from 3-5 feet away, like we were going to steal a giant bag of dog food. I did not appreciate that old woman staring me down to make me feel unwelcomed.There's no reason to shop at this location.

Staff not all wearing masks. I couldn't find any hand sanitizer at the door, nor at the entry to the cat adoption room. (Hand sanitizer at the entry to adoption areas has been a pre-Covid standard at all the adoption sites I've visited in the past 20 years.)I know stuff happens, people forget to do stuff, but the specific staff member I noticed not wearing a mask gave me manager/senior staff vibes.

I love Tomlinson's! They carry more nutritious and hard to find items. Today they were out of the specific type of cat food I typically buy from them. But I found it at the Allandale location (Burnet & Koenig)
