I decided to try out the self service washing station for the first time and wish I had started sooner. The whole process was so easy, from booking the time to getting in and cleaning up my hairy furball. They had everything I needed all lined up next to the tub. Well worth the $20.

Our 4-legged kid's favorite store is Tomlinson's. They carry a great variety of treats, snacks, bones, chews, and other cool products just for canines and felines that the other big pet stores don't have. Their prices are also very competitive and even lower on many similar items. The people that work here seem to genuinely love animals and their job. I spent several minutes one day showing two employees pictures of our "kids" at their request. How could I refuse?

I was treated very rudely by an employee at this location, when I felt I had just made an honest mistake, not knowing their specific procedures. Sorry for the novel, but I also just want to explain my experience since the employees definitely did not try to take my perspective, and I hope they will do better in the future with other customers (I don’t think I’ll personally be back, which is sad since otherwise it’s a great store).I came in with my dog to try the bathing station for the first time. Someone at the counter greeted me as I came in, and I wandered for a minute until I found the two small bathing rooms. There was someone in one of the rooms, and the tablet by that door was red and said “occupied,” while one tablet was green and said “available.” I pressed “start,” thinking it would prompt some kind of check-in/payment page, but it immediately began counting down from 15 minutes. I kind of panicked, thinking my time was already running out, and I wasn’t familiar with the set up. I went on in and began bathing my dog, planning to follow up at the counter when I finished.When I had her in the tub, all wet and soapy, an employee opened the door and addressed me with a really strong and frustrated tone. Something like, “You can’t be in here. Someone has a reservation, and now I have to clean this room again.” I was caught off guard and started to apologize and explain, but she closed the door. I immediately began rinsing my dog and grabbed a towel to start drying her off. The woman then knocked on the window, looking annoyed. She opened the door again, saying something like, “Ma’am we really need you out of the room. You clearly didn’t even check in at the front.” She had the door open, and my dog went out, still partially wet. She looked at me like she was annoyed that my dog left the room without me. I tried again to explain the miscommunication, that I didn’t realize the room was taken since there was no indication, and I had gone on in when the timer started. She was clearly frazzled and talked over me in a loud voice, which was embarrassing as there were plenty of people around.She waved me over to the counter saying that that person would ring me up. When I responded surprised like, “Wait, I didn’t really get to finish..” she says sarcastically, “Oh, now she wants it for free.” I said something like, “It’s just that I was in there for like five minutes,” and she responded, “Um I think it was more than 5 minutes but…” (Okay maybe it was like 8. Thanks for the correction).I turned to the woman at the counter, explaining that I wasn’t trying to get off free, but I had clearly not finished the session as I had been rushejd out with a wet dog. This woman was calmer, but she made it sound like they were doing me a favor by not charging me. I left on the verge of tears, feeling caught of guard and misunderstood, like I had been treated like someone with malicious intent. It is obviously totally fair that they have a protocol (reserving a room online), but I just did not know that as a first time user, and I made what I thought were reasonable assumptions based in the information posted.

Tomlinson’s is great! Only Austin could have grown this incredible a dog & cat food pet supply store of this caliber! Not every person in the city has four pet mouths to feed, but I am delighted my critters can benefit from access to Tomlinson’s. Austin is arguably the most dog and cat friendly city in the Country and even with that in mind Tomlinson’s is better then I thought possible for an independent pet food supply. Amazing staff, enthusiasm, top brands, knowledge, and advocacy for pets, animals, and the people that love them are just some of the reasons I love this store!

Love this place! The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Great selection of chewies and raw and frozen healthy dog foods. When our dog decided to be a picky eater for a few weeks they accepted all the food she wouldn’t eat as returns, even when opened. Pretty great!

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a large variety of dog and cat food and lots of treats. Some of their rawhide type treats are pretty pricey and I would probably buy on Chewy or something but the food is about average. They even have a litter refill station which I thought was neat.

Hands down the best self-service dog wash in Austin. They thought of everything and it's even big enough for 100+lb dogs. I really like the private room and integrated shampoo and conditioner feed to the sprayer, makes it much faster.

Friendly staff. The self-serve dog wash is amazing. 30 minutes for $15. It’s in a private room and they provided shampoo, towels, blow dryer, ear wash and treats!

I've shopped @ Tomlinson's for close to 30yrs for all my cats' needs & I've always been satisfied...I love supporting a local, small business as well so I always check there first when I need to purchase supplies. And thanks for all you do for the animal rescue groups!

The best Pet food store in town! I have been a regular customer for Tomlinson's Feed. Today I received my same day delivery for my kitties in 3 hours with no extra delivery fee. Inside of carefully packed delivery box, I found this hand-written and -drawn Christmas Card( Not printed). My husband and I are so touched and felt so appreciative about all they do!!. Thank you, Tomlinson's Feed- Burnet Location!! My kitties are so happy with what they got!Updating today to share my input about how excellent this Tomlinson's Feed burnet location and their staff are! Got another delivery. Again carefully packed. Ordering and delivery process was super smooth and hassle free. This hand-written and -drawn New Year Card was included as well. Catiline( Driver) was super nice and courteous. Thank you!!

Tomlinson's Feed is a wonderful site with real animal lovers working there. I went for dog food and left with a scratching bed for my cats and it seems to already be working.

Super friendly staff and they're always really friendly with my dog when I bring him in. They have a dog scale near the register which is great since I like to keep tabs on his weight without having to go into the vet's office each time.They have a whole area of chews for the dogs and I'll sometimes just grab one and give it to my dog to chew on while we're in the store. Of course, I let the cashier know when I go to check out and they don't mind at all. The store is always clean.

Awesome experience! I just would like to say thank you to Ross, a very kind and patient person who very graciously helped me find food for a very finicky and sick senior animal. My girl recently had a stroke and she has been so picky about what she will eat or won't be and I showed up and just all kinds of tears and Ross was absolutely amazing!! Helped me select multiple options that so far so good! Actually walked through the aisles with me and helped me understand what was in each item made fantastic recommendations and I really can't say enough good things about the staff here! There were even kittens to watch that helped me smile through my tears as I was a bit emotional. These guys have great products and one thing that they do that I haven't found a single other pet store to do is they will take back food items even if opened and partially used. I have not heard of a single other place even remotely offering anything like this. That is one heck of a satisfaction guarantee.... Given that we never can really tell what our pets may or may not like and things are getting a little tough these days for everybody I think, it's wonderful to know that there's a place that won't just take your money and then oh too bad so sad for you if there's an issue. I really hope more people come check out this place they have a lot of neat things really healthy treats and amazing food options. And they have some of the most cutest toys you've ever seen as well as all kinds of neat gear you never knew you needed until you looked at it LOL.Shout out to Ross, you were nothing short of amazing yesterday thank you so much. You single-handedly helped restore a little bit of my faith in humanity, so big air hugs to you 🤗

Ross is fabulous! Amazing customer service and overall an amazing human. I was in for only a short bit and he has my vote. Right as I walked in he stopped what he was doing and asked what I could help me find. After I responded he was already off grabbing the things I needed. He was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell he was a real animal lover. He gave me suggestions for my cats as it is hard to find treats they like. He really knew his product in the store and over all made my shopping experience just lovely. Thank you Ross for caring! I will be returning to work with Ross again very soon! AND SO SHOULD YOU!

We've been shopping here for several years and always have a good experience. The associates are super helpful with my hundreds of questions about dog food (yes, I'm THAT person). I like that it's small and they also offer pet treats in bulk! My daughter (used to) love coming here to watch the cats they "display" for adoption. We live 25 min away now and still come back to this store.

Tomlinson's always keeping it classy. Great selection of just about everything your pets would need. The staff was knowledgeable and they just built a kitten room! How adorable! The price of goods might be slightly more expensive, however they really do a great job with everything. Support them if you can.

Every single employee is friendly, helpful, and most importantly SO SWEET to any dog I have ever brought in. They really love animals.

I love this location. I've been to 4 different Tomlinson's in the Austin area, and this one has been my favorite. The staff here has been so helpful and they display great customer service. They helped me with starting my cat on a partially raw diet, and I've been able to share the same knowledge with other cat owners.

I love all of the Tomlinson's locations but especially love that this one has the large kitten room. I foster kittens for Wilco, and often bring my litters out here to be adopted. Their staff are very thoughtful and knowledgeable and always make sure my guys go to the best home. In addition, they carry a lot of products that you can't find at a regular pet store. I've just started feeding my cats raw food and prefer to buy at Tomlinson's. I also love all of their toy options, many of which are made locally.

Awesome store. Absolutely awesome. They are incredibly helpful and patient. We are a new dog owner and Tomlinson goes out of their way to educate us whenever we need something. One couldn't ask for a better "local". They are our go-to for everything dog!
