I arrived at Tomlinson's about 5 minutes before closing, however the cashier would not sell me any cat food as the 'point of sale' was already closed. This is the second time this has happened at this location. Clearly, Tomlinson's is not a company I can trust and rely on to feed my pets.

Not everyone wakes up and chooses to be a nice human, but on Friday.. Otis did! I hadn’t scheduled a curbside order and he did me a solid so I didn’t have to bring my 29 kids inside with me. The world is full of unkind people right now and when someone does a small gesture of kindness, it really goes a long way. Y’all have my business for life!

I loved my first visit there this week! The products were so perfectly lined up and organized, it was crazy! And I loved working with the gentlemen that helped me. He had a great personality. The prices were comparable to amazon and even beat prices that I saw on chewies.com. I’ll definitely be back!!

Erika the Manager and the staff always treated our dog Jacques like Royalty. Tomlinson's has a great selection of healthy food and treats. I highly recommend Tomlinson's at Four Points!

Have to change my review from 5 stars to 1 star. I am saddened by how little impact this will likely make, given all of the existing 5-star reviews and high overall rating, but I must try. I may copy and paste this review to all Tomlinson's if this dilemma is true for all of the locations.This Tomlinson's, at least, carries no cat food that isn't grain-free. This goes directly against the recommendations of veterinarians and cardiologists.We loved supporting a local store and smaller pet food companies instead of the big stores. We adopted our cat here. We have a membership. We regularly donate to the pound through our Tomlinson's.But our cat now has a heart murmur she didn't have a year ago. She's just over a year old. We've been feeding her Orijen, a grain-free food that we didn't realize was grain-free.After reading yet another heartbreaking story on Reddit about a pet that is dying too soon from a grain-free diet, as well as watching our healthy cat turn unhealthy as a direct result from shopping here and not being better educated about keeping our pet healthy, I IMPLORE you: do not choose local over science. We're buying our cat food at HEB now, and will likely cancel the membership we have and start buying the healthy grains dog food elsewhere.Buyer beware.

I am a local pet sitter and I am truly impressed with them. Extremely knowledgeable. It is the "home away from home" of pet stores. I cook for my "baby" and I went on a road trip so, I couldn't bring her food with me. They gave advice as far as what is comparable to her cooked food. The transition to Primal was great. There were no "side effects". I can not praise them enough on their friendliness, knowledge and effort to keep you coming back as a customer. I won't go anywhere else. There is a good reason why they keep getting voted as Austin's best local pet store. Once you walk in the door, you will understand.

I am very disappointed that this store has gone so far downhill. The staff turnover in the past year has led to its decline. Two of the salespeople, Roselle and Lila, have given me incorrect product information and seemed extremely stressed. There is an unpleasant atmosphere, stemming from dissension among the staff. If I am paying extra for excellent customer service/knowledge, then the company should measure up. Unfortunately, they don't. I won't be returning.

Exceptional staff and very knowledgable! Always a wonderful visit with all the caring and attentive people. I would highly recommend this store for anyone that values good customer service and information. I have been frequenting this store for 4 years now, and hands down it is my "go to" pet store for my animals.

I only shop at Tomlinson Feed Store. I might pay a little more for my product but I would not sacrifice a few dollars for my animals health. I always get honest opinions on recommendations. Whether good or negative feedback on a product, I rely on Tomlinson knowledge of the products they are selling.

Big selection of higher end/quality food, toys, and pet supplies. Good stuff for your pet, but it comes at a price. This is specially true if you have a bigger dog, food can get spendy fast, but the dogs have loved everything we have tried there.

Expensive, but they have everything. They also have quite possibly the healthiest food for your dog. I have a great dane so i eventually had to settle for a cheaper (but still good) HEB organic dog food.

Very nice and knowledgeable sales people. Helped me find exactly what I was looking for quickly. Their stuff is not cheap, but I'm not looking for cheap stuff anyway. Our dog is worth the slightly higher price.

The day I thought buying my cat a bag of food for almost $20, I almost balked. Then I realized that although I am only a cat owner, there is not much I would not do to prolong the life of my pet. I saw a video a while back, where it equated buying foods like Purina One Smartblend to buying McDonalds for your pet. I love my cat as much as you love yours, but till I walked into Tomlinson's, I was ignorant to the needs of my fur baby. The employees here can help you find what is best for your furry companion. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for the manager who told me how to make my cats life better.
