I regret to say that my recent experience at Home Depot Mueller in Austin, Texas, was utterly disappointing and unacceptable. As a loyal Home Depot Pro customer, I have always valued the convenience and efficiency of shopping here. However, the treatment I received during my last visit has compelled me to reconsider my choice.The most frustrating aspect of my visit was the blatant disregard for customer service exhibited by the staff, particularly in the lumber area. Despite politely requesting assistance on two separate occasions to open the doors so I could maneuver my cart filled with lumber, my requests were callously dismissed. What adds insult to injury is that I witnessed another individual easily accessing the area moments before, proving that the doors were not, in fact, "locked" as claimed by the staff.This blatant inconsistency and refusal to accommodate a loyal customer's reasonable request reflect poorly on Home Depot's commitment to customer satisfaction. As a Home Depot Pro member, I expect a certain level of professionalism and respect, which was sorely lacking during this visit.It's disappointing to see such a reputable company like Home Depot failing to uphold its standards and prioritize customer needs. If this is how Home Depot chooses to treat its loyal customers, then it's evident that they have lost sight of what truly matters. Until there is a significant improvement in the quality of service and respect shown towards customers, I will be taking my business elsewhere.I urge the management at Home Depot Mueller to address these issues promptly and implement measures to ensure that all customers, especially Home Depot Pros, receive the level of service they rightfully deserve. Anything less is simply unacceptable.

I recently placed an order for 10 windows for a project, and after waiting for one month, I went to receive only two of the windows. Upon inspection, both windows, valued at $960 and $600 respectively, were found to be significantly scratched, as evident in the accompanying video documentation. Upon bringing this matter to the attention of the management, I was offered a mere $100 in compensation, with no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused or an apology extended.The manager's response, attributing the scratches and broken fins to normalcy, is disappointing given the importance of the windows in question, which serve as a prominent feature of the house. Additionally, as advised by a Home Depot windows expert, painting PVC windows is not recommended due to the likelihood of paint chipping over time, making the damage even more conspicuous.This experience has left me thoroughly dissatisfied with the level of service provided by Brian and Emily, who consistently exhibited rudeness during my interactions with them. It is my belief that such inadequate resolution and poor customer service should not be tolerated, and I strongly urge for a reconsideration of the managerial approach to customer relations in this matter.

This Home Depot is fantastic. It offers everything you'd expect from a Home Depot, and its location is excellent. There are plenty of dining options nearby, allowing you to grab a bite before you shop. The parking space is abundant, and the staff are all friendly and helpful.

Tried to call the store twice to speak to the manager, I got transferred to 5 diff people then phone got disconnected. It was very uncomfortable shopping at your store because so many customers bring their dogs in the store and the dogs get too close to me. I don't feel safe walking around your store.

Don't bother placing an order for curbside pickup, they won't come! I checked in through the app 20+ minutes ago without anyone coming out. Ultimately, I had to go inside and let them know I was here.

This is the absolute worst parking lot for a store I've ever experienced. Extremely limited parking spaces and always so packed you basically just sit waiting to get to a parking space because noone else knows how to drive or get out of the way. Definitely not worth the stop to get in to this store. Especially on a busy weekend. Or expect a long walk.

A great place to shop and find various hardware and home type appliances and goods! Friendly staff willing to help if needed! Easily saying from nearby streets.They don’t always have everything, but they did have an unusual battery that I needed one evening :-)

This Home Depot has a habit of selling plants that are not good for the Texas region. They like to sell tropical plants and other plants that are nearly destined to die in the summer and winter without absolutely constant attention. This ensures that they make money as you replace plants every year.

This store sucks. There’s just no other way to describe it. Their checkout system is a cheapskate method dressed up as trendy, but it doesn’t work and some of the employees working that area are not the least bit interested in helping you. You’re more likely to get snark, while their fancy system is down…again. Meanwhile, I’ve been standing in the electrical section long enough through 3 pages over the PA system to get annoyed enough to leave this review. Sadly, I’ll most likely come back only because it’s the closest but I’ll go elsewhere for major purchases.

Had a simple exchange of a wrong faucet and because the item was not exact and it was done on a Home Depot card, they would not exchange it without the card. My grandmother is 97 and couldn’t make it to the store. The fact that they wanted to call and take the number by phone and would simply exchange the item citing it’s a policy, make no sense… Evem with a receipt they would even do a simple exchange… This was inconvenient and not customer friendly… The manager could seem to think of a way that would eliminate providing her cc number by phone… Why does ‘policy’ over look ’common sense’ at Home Depot?

I've got some other opinions on the rest of the store.All I've got to say is when you have a poor opinion of something that happened in the store and your project didn't work out as planned it says a lot when you still want to, and it's more important to you to say something good about someone who actually helped you.Maybe is amazing. IWhen I go to this store if I need help she is who I can count on. If you are a manager of this store , give this girl a raise. You are lucky beyond words to have her.If thus review lacks spelling and grammar then I'm lucky because my screen is busted and can not see my writing. Will edit when new phone comes.

Spent 30 minutes trying to find a specific lighting project. One associate pointed me to an aisle. After not finding it, asked another associate for help. They called over the intercom for someone to come. No one ever did, the associate walked past again saying he called someone. Never checked back. It shouldn’t be this hard to give you my money. I was in the process of ordering new windows from Home Depot, but after hearing about my friend's recent experience, I've decided against it. His order arrived with scratches and damage, yet the compensation offered was only a fraction of the total cost—$100 out of $952. Despite expressing his frustration to the staff, they provided no meaningful assistance. This lack of accountability and customer support is deeply disappointing. It's clear that Home Depot's especially this location handling of such situations falls short, and as a result, I will be looking elsewhere for my home improvement needs.

This Home Depot is great. It has all the things you would normally need at a Home Depot and it's in a great place. There's plenty near it so that you can get a bite to eat before you go shop. There's lots of parking space. And all the staff are friendly and helpful.

The outdoor department is decent (which I use a lot) & I love they've added more self-checks. Getting a key copied is likely to take a while but overall it's a fine store.

I set a reservation for a truck rental (the Home Depot one...not Penske), but the man working the desk (Fabian) told me someone just let out the truck 30 minutes prior. My reservation was for 6:30. I arrived at 6:32. They sure did charge me the $150, though. Set my reservation on Monday the 2nd for Thursday the 5th.The employee didn't help me at all. He said I could call Penske to set up an appointment and gave me the number....but that would be more pricey. I already paid...they texted me 4 times to remind me of my reservation!Why have a reservation system that charges the amount for the rental if your employees won't check the system before sending the truck out to another customer?Thanks for wasting my time.I sure hope I get my refund.BTW, this truck was in the parking lot, but apparently it's for "store use only." ...talk about false advertising.

No carts are available because they were all in the parking lot. When leaving, I saw at least 4 employees standing at the back of the parking lot just talking. Next time I'm there, every week, I'll send a picture because they are doing that every time I go.

Do not pay for installation or contractor services from this Home Depot. They do not actually have the ability to fulfill or contractors to do the work, but are happy to take your money and lead you along for months. Worst customer service experience ever. No one is driving the ship over there. Avoid.

im only leaving 3 so that i wont come off like a irrational hater….. but this is the wooooorst HD ever to go to… this my forth and last time…. Soo here is my biggest issue with this location….. the parking lot is horrible….( remove the dang trees… nobody cares about 20 half dead trees that wont save the world/ make a difference… just remove them and make parking spots) ALSO FIND A BETTER PLACE TO PUT THE DISPLAY UNITS… those take up parking spots too…

No one works at the store when you call, tried a dozen times thinking sure they were busy. and 1 person did answer after 15mins then they just transfer you and thwn yðou'll wait another 15-20mins listening to the same recording over and over. The worst customer service ever had. '

I’ve always liked this Home Depot location. Area is really cool and this store has a lot of variety. At times, depending on the location, it can feel cramped. Garden center and greenhouse have a rodent odor I wish didn’t exist, but overall I can find what I need here.

4/5/2024 update. Downgraded to 1 star. The new system where everyone has to self check out is ridiculous. Broken card readers make checking out more difficult. Even more under staffed. Store security allows parking in the fire lane, clogging up the entry/exit points.Go to any other Home Depot.Chronically under staffed. I needed lumber cut and there was only one person on duty who could operate the saws. They were also the only person who could operate a fork lift. And this isn’t uncommon. Cashiers and other front end folks are super friendly and helpful so there’s that!

Steve W. was the sweetest and gave me a ton of helpful info and tips! Highly recommend talking to Steve.The cashier gets 0 stars for her attitude, but I honestly don’t expect much from gen Zers.

They pay me good! I work nights in plumbing, and am super happy to be there! What have worked in 3 departments since 03/2023 Word tp the wide:ORPUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: if you look up an item at Home Depot online and you find the correct location that you would like to go to: if they do not say at that specific location with an aisle number and the bank number and offer you a store map view.... Do not have that at the location. Home Depot does free 2-day delivery to your house if you spend a certain amount, and you can always call ahead....There's always the possibility of ordering online and having it ready for pickup

Rented a truck from Penske and they had 1 person working rentals for the entire store so I sat for 30 mins just to pick up my reservation after taking an Uber to this location. Once I finally got to front of the line I was told my truck wasn’t even available. Horrible
