I purchased 50 feeder fish and 50 percent of them died. These are gold fish also known as Comets they are generally very hardy and grow up to be about 8 to 10 inches and I stock my pond with them. Much cheaper than Koi and as beautiful as the common Koi. They are generally very easy to raise. I took those dead back with a water sample and they reluctantly provided me with 25 more. I continued to have die offs and I'm down to 25 that do look healthy after a few months of good feeding and care. I believe they are not getting quality fish. I have done this same procedure a number of times and usually get no more than about 5 percent loss.

I live closer to the Petco in Pflugerville, but I drive all the way to this PetSmart whenever I need something, because I greatly prefer their service and selection. I also really enjoy the annual pet photos with Santa!!

Took my pet in for annual immunizations, paid for a pedicure, and the service was not performed. Called to find out why, was told I would receive a call back, that didn't happen...Also, signage reading buy 2 get the third for free for some toys, was ignored and so after leaving I found that I paid full price for everything....This must be a very busy location. I was asked to come in an hour before my scheduled visit, which I agreed to, only to wait in line to drop off my pet, and was left to wait 20 minutes after arrival. Having to avoid the animal urine on the floor in front of the check-in desk....Continuously encouraged to sign up for a plan I had already told the staff I was not ready to commit to, once at check in and again by phone...while my pet was being immunized... I felt bad because they made it seem like I was not giving my pet the best care she could receive....Banfield Hospital and petsmart customer service should be a little more attentive to its customers...I would suggest finding a vet outside of a big box store...My overall experience was not good...

My Min Pin, and I shop at PetSmart at least once a week. They have cutest outfits these are just a few. I like the variety of toys, and especially games we bought several puzzles, and she figures them out!! It's a lot of fun watching her.I also like the fact that they'll exchange pretty much anything if you're not satisfied.Thanks!!šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

I’m a serious avid fisher for food and for sport. This has been the worst tank I have ever seen! I came in to buy some Minnows as feeders for my aquarium. When going to look at the fish I noticed that some of the tanks had fish that were dead, or looked sick. Once I glanced at the goldfish I thought it was substrate in the corner but noticed they were in fact dead fish.To some it may be like oh no the fish are dead, but to others it shows the care for the upkeep of the life of another species as they were raised for human entertainment . This could be disease or malnutrition for them and it could be spread to the other fish in other tanks as well.I would us caution with any aquatic life that you buy from this store as whoever is in charge of the area’s upkeep is lacking tremendously. I feel that if you are looking for a starter aquarium or anything for your current one, drive to another store or company.Your fish will thank you later!

took my dog to the banfield there for a standard checkup / booster shots. I also paid extra to have her nails trimmed. Turns out they cut her quips and was bleeding from them. Didn’t even cut the nails on one of her paws. She was so terrified and traumatized she slipped out and ran away. Thank god for the help of the people around the catch her. She’s never acted like this before. Poor baby is now limping from her paws because they hurt. And to top it off, it’s also very pricey. About $250 for my services today, which wasn’t a full service either. They originally quoted me around $500.Never again going to banfield.

I highly suggest that you do not use the grooming services here unless you want to have your dog's tail cut off by one of the groomers. If they would have listened in the first place and not tried to shorten my dog's tail like I asked they would have never cut a portion of his tail off. Poor guy was traumatized for weeks and I feel I'm going to have problems in the future getting him groomed from this ordeal. Contacted their corporate office and they didn't even bother getting back to me regarding this matter, which is rather sad on their part. Shows you how much they don't care about your pets. Will never step foot at this location again.

I recently purchased a tank and ensemble from here, and I couldn't be happier. I called on New Year's Day, and after being put on hold several times, my call finally got transferred to the manager on duty, Bree (sp?). She was amazingly helpful, and got me very relevant info based on my needs that I described to her over the phone. Since I didn't make it into the store that day, I ordered my aquarium set online and chose the "in store pickup" option and wrote my friend's name as the one who would be picking it up for me. It went seamless for him, and I came home to a fully ready tank. Best way to spend a New Year's Day!

Sam groomed my Standard poodle yesterday, and wow she did an awesome job! TAllulah looked beautiful! Sam was very professional, kind and compassionate with Tallulah. We were provided with a detailed report on how the groom went. We will definitely be back!

Train your cashiers. I brought back dog food, Received a credit and purchased canned dog food and owed three dollars and change, but cashier could not ring it up. Tried new cash register and three different credit cards, and she still could not ring it up. Went to HEB, no problem.

It’s not a terrible place but the customer service isn’t good. The wait is forever and the workers weren’t friendly when I was inquiring about a curbside order that was 3 hours old. They said they were understaffed but it wasn’t busy. Next time, I’ll order for delivery or go to Petco.

Went and got some fish today. The lady was very helpful and we picked 5 beautiful healthy fish. We also picked up another aquatic plant. They were the perfect size for my tank and no dead leaves and wasnt expensive. It was nice having someone with knowledge about the fish. Every question I had she answered for me. Even know we live almost an hr away I will definitely be back on just the atmosphere and environment alone.

Long story short. Pet care associate and cashier were very rude, both talked to me in and unpleasant tone and the cashier sighed loudly and shook her head at me. I told her I didn’t appreciate the way she shook her head at me and the way I’ve been treated and I felt uncomfortable, so I told her I would not be purchasing. As I’m walking out my daughter is upset so I go back in. I told her I will continue with my purchase she did apologize and I said thank you and that I understand what they were telling me but that I worked for Petsmart and the things I was getting was a temporary situation since I’m in the middle of a move. And that I have all kinds of pet products at home. She says oh ok and the rest of the transaction was pleasant. Had they asked me as the pet parent questions instead in an informative and caring way instead of the Judgy tone like they are just assuming I’m out buying products to shorten the life of my pets or that I don’t care to what they had to say. It would have been a way different uexperience. Just very rude and unprofessional.

Do NOT take your cat here!!! This is for the grooming department specifically.If I could give zero stars, I would. We scheduled an appointment with their call center yesterday for a cat nail trim. But when we arrived with our cat, the groomers had allegedly never been informed of our appointment and turned us away, saying that they were running behind and had too many dogs present at the time. I say allegedly because they then pulled up a clear record of our appointment and blamed the miscommunication on us for having used the call center. They told us to come back the next morning at 8:00 AM, which was super out of the way, but she really needed this appointment. When we returned, there were even more dogs in the lobby than the first time, and they were running behind again. We were made to wait for another twenty-five minutes and then turned away AGAIN due to a health requirement that they neglected to mention on their website or during our previous visit. The aggressive dogs in the lobby then scared our cat so bad that she peed all over herself and was too scared to leave her carrier. This groomer wasn't even nearby-- it took forty minutes for us to get there and back (and we made this drive TWICE), and all we have to show for it is an incredibly anxious, urine covered cat with overgrown nails. Literally do better.

I don’t even want to give a single star to start off with we are very dissatisfied disappointed and upset this is by far the worst and saddest day ever!!!!!! We were set to be groomed by Jonathan for the simple fact that he ā€œspecializesā€ full breed our dog is not just a dog but our Family and his haircut is the worst ever he has bald patches on his chest as if they put clippers w no guard all his hair is uneven he a Spanish cocker spaniel he used to have beautiful full body hair and now he looks beyond messed up his Mohawk was cut off after specifically telling these people at this location how we wanted our pets hair done.

I took my full breed cocker spaniel to get groomed. When I went to go pick him up he was butchered I've been growing his hair since he was three years old a puppy he had bangs a little ponytail I mean and when I went to get him groomed everybody in the grooming salon heard them say trim only to this gentleman named Jonathan who specializes in full breed pets so I was told. I then observed his his whole body his ponytail was completely cut off you can see where they just picked up his hair and cut, his to front legs are uneven and can't be fixed until the hair grows back so I was told from another groomer that worked there. He had patches on his chest where the tried to shave his. I was furious I went back talked to Angie and Jonathan and the offered me 20 off after they butchered my dog I was like what and a free fix talking bout sorry bout that my mistake your mistake it took me over 3 years to grow that And that's all you have to offer. So now I called corporate office nothing tried talking to district he offered me a sweater for my inconvenience . Now I am walking around with a messed up dog and all anyone can say is sorry hell with think it might be the right time for some legal action I wouldn't recommend any grooming services from this PetSmart .

Very nice! My parents take their dogs here all the way from Leander because the grooming salon is their favorite, and I buy all of my feeders and reptile equipment for my bearded dragon here. Lovely staff and feels very safe and inclusive.

It’s close to my house so I go there frequently for my pets food, but the quality of live insects for reptiles has become horrible and the employees are rude and lack basic training on care for most animals.My last visit will be my last visit!An employee named Bethany was getting me crickets, when I asked her to check the number of horn worms in the containers labeled 4 worms per container, since I had purchased several recently that only had 2 worms, then I handed her a container that had 1 obviously dead horn worm inside, she took several containers to the counter with her, I waited in line and when approached her she didn’t seem to remember the conversation we had. She rudely told me that the worms hid and that the amount was correct. So I paid $10.95 per container (2) and when I got home, I opened the horn worms and not only did one container have only 2 worms not 4.The second box contained the dead worm she was supposed to throw away! I called and talked to her directly and she was extremely hateful and told me to bring it back.Not only was she incompetent but also rude! This employee has zero business working with customers.
