Disappointed that no one offered to help me out to my car with a 40lb box of kitty litter.As a senior citizen,it is hard for me to lift this much weight. It is necessary to buy this size,but assistance would be nice,or at least an offer !

Weevil and parasite infestation at this location. I've been shopping here for quite some time and make it a point to go check out this exact shelf everytime I go in to this store just to see if it's been cleaned yet. It's been 4 months now that it has looked like this and that's just when I noticed. So it very well could have been like this for much longer. The bags all have holes in them and you can see the live bugs crawling in and out of the bags. I do understand that retail in general requires a lot of cleaning and upkeep, but this is unacceptable. It's been like this for an extended period of time and new bags get thrown on the shelf right on top of this disgusting infestation. I refuse to buy any kind of food or treats from this location. It's not worth endangering the health of my animals. I'm flabbergasted that there is not any kind of cleaning methods and/or parasite control in place for such a big box retail store. I highly recommend you inspect your purchases from this location to ensure your not buying infested dog and cat food. Seriously PetSmart do better, our animals deserve at bare minimum clean food.

Had an unsatisfactory experience with a groomer last week. Usually my dog was groomed very nicely at this location, but this time not so much. It looked like they put a blanket over the dog to do the trim. Legs shaved. Body, back, sides, tail and ears not touched. Was so unexpected I couldn’t even say anything to the groomer at that time. I realize I should have said something at the time but was just flabbergasted that they had done such a poor job I just wanted to get out of there. Did not want them to “try again”.Please be aware all groomers are not created equal.Could not get a good photo of the after.

Took my dog for grooming, they left her face choppy and parts of her very uneven. I didn’t want to be confrontational and I had paid before even seeing her, but please don’t take your pet here. The workers/staff/groomers are all very nice but that doesn’t make up for the fact that I’m $50 short and my dog looks like she was cut by a toddler.

We usually get our pup groomed here and have had an okay experience. This week his groomer was Annabel and she did an exceptional job! My dog has grooming anxiety and Annabel immediately recognized that and took care of him ASAP. We were so impressed with how even his cut was. In the past his head was always left longer but Annabel nailed the cut!! So so so happy.

I have been coming to Banfield for years. Their program for my kitties runs $50 monthly for each cat and covers all basic shots plus teeth cleaning. It's great! I'm giving only 4 stars due to the Doctors no longer doing room visits. U have to always do drop offs now which means u have to go twice. This is due to covid off course

I love this Petsmart. The people are always super nice and helpful and it's never crowded. Plus they have some great deals going on right now for the holidays.I noticed they have a cat adoption center at this one too. They're all so sweet! Get yourself a cat for Christmas!

Went in today for just nail trim on 2 small dogs, I was advised by Samantha that should buy the trim n grind because otherwise the nails would be sharp. So I went ahead n did as she suggested. Well 7min later she brings me back my yorkie n my dog scratches my chest pretty bad. I then ask her to please grind again because of what happened. Says that’s the best that she can do, I was confused as to why I was told to get the grinding that would prevent this in the first place. So she tells another coworker. This lady said that her nails dogs nails are too long still. I intervened and said I didn’t say they were long. I said that they were still sharp after the grinding. Obviously she Mad that she had to go over my dogs nails again so when it came to my next dog, my dog was a little scared so she was nipping at the lady she right away says she’s not gonna do it. I asked her if she had muzzles, she said not for their size I don’t! Keep in mind this is a pet store so because she refused, another guy had to complete the work she is very unprofessional obviously doesn’t know how to deal with pets that are scared and anxious being in an unknown environment with a buzzing sound in their ears/clippers, other dog’s barking etc.she was easily agitated and either she doesn’t like her job or was having a bad day either or it is very unprofessional and it was a miserable visit. I will never be back here again and wouldn’t advise anybody else to either. Shame on Samantha.

Pet smart is good for your pets however working their leaves quite a bit to be desired and they have lots of turnover especially with dog groomers

To the Manager: Disappointing Service at PetSmart Bee CaveI recently had a less than satisfactory experience at the PetSmart in Bee Cave. While their usual service has been decent, the specific incident that occurred was quite upsetting.Even though the shop was supposed to be open until a specific time, on the day in question, the doors were closed prematurely. This action not only was surprising but also quite inconvenient, particularly as several customers, including myself, were left standing outside, knocking and expecting service.This kind of experience, where customers are ignored despite clear indications of their presence and needs, is certainly disappointing. It undermines the otherwise positive reputation of the store and affects the trust customers place in it.A business should stand by its stated hours of operation. Closing early without prior notice or reason is not only unprofessional but also an inconvenience for those who had made time to visit. I hope PetSmart Bee Cave addresses this issue promptly, as such occurrences could potentially drive away customers in the future.

We dropped off our dog with instructions not to shave him. I received a text about an hour later with a picture of his back end shaved. She then said that in order for him to look decent she would have to shave him entirely. I was furious and asked to speak to her manager. He offered me a free cut for that day and the next visit. When I picked up my puppy the boy who gave him to me had the audacity to tell me the groomer was just doing what was best for my dog. She felt over him before we left him and knew he was matted in areas. She agreed to brush him out. Instead I got a shaved dog with the worst haircut job I’ve ever seen. Stray hairs here and there and his mustache uneven. I’m sure in retribution for getting her in trouble. I’m done with PetSmart forever!

My dog’s groom took over 7 hours. We arrived at 7:50 am for an 8 am grooming appointment. A staff member said that we might want to wait around as this groomer is a no show sometimes and doesn’t show up on Sundays. Not a good start. We were told that it could take up to 5 hours for the appointment – it has never taken more than 3 or 4 hours in the 4 years we have used Petsmart. We returned around hour 5.5 (at 1:30 pm). When we arrived, there was lots of surprised whispering between staff, and they told us to come back in an hour. 1.5 hours later, it had now been 7 hours, we showed up, and the groomer was trimming her face and asked us to step out for a few minutes.This was when I went to find a manager. He listened to my concerns but suggested that perhaps we request a fast-track groom next time. I didn’t know this option existed, and it’s not our wasted time – it’s that our dog sat in a kennel for 7 hours!Her groom was absolutely terrible. Hacked bits and some parts looked shaved with no effort to blend. To say that we will likely never return is an understatement. We left 7 hours later, after paying $130 with a very stressed-out dog.

Typical commercial pet store with literally no one or nothing that focuses on holistic health and services. You can buy pet food (though I wouldn't call it food) and accessories for your dog or cat. They offer grooming services and an in house allopathic veterinarian and concomitant services. They have treats, though most of them are not healthy and other supplies.To better take care of your pet I recommend Tomlinson's, who are all over town. Petsmart will do in a pinch, otherwise I don't recommend it.

I was again very satisfied with the service from the grooming salon! The groomer checked in my dog and went though a standard check list of possible concerns that my dog might be experiencing. Left her there and she was ready within a couple of hours! (I was informed beforehand that it was going to be a couple of hours. No surprises there! ).

Really helpful staff at this location. Kevin dropped what he was doing (stocking shelves) to help me decide on a thunder shirt, talk about calming supplements and even discuss car booster seat options for the 2nd dog.Great help, great customer service, fair prices and their inventory is even rebounding upward a bit.

My boyfriend and I were in this weekend with our dog, looking for his dog food. As we were standing in the aisle discussing options (they didn't have his on the shelf), a woman employee appeared at the end of the aisle, clearly pretending to fiddle around with merchandise hanging on the shelf. Sadly, I am now able to recognize quickly when we are being followed around a store by suspicious employees since my boyfriend is Latino. He's used to it but it still hurts us when this happens. So giving this lady the benefit of the doubt I asked her if she was able to check to see if our dog food was in stock. She was, after all, restocking shelves, right? She then explained she wasn't sure but she could ask someone else to check... Then she went off and I saw on the back of her shirt read, "Trainer". She then came back and said it was not in stock. We are working professionals with graduate degrees and successful careers and in our late 30's. We've worked hard to achieve our success and continue to do so. My boyfriend walks around in Banana Republic outfits most of the time. But none of that matters when you're not white, I guess. You still get followed around in stores, apparently.I would like to request to Petsmart and to anyone while we're at it, to give some thought to why this happened, why it happens to us all the time, and what you might be able to do to help stop it. I will help you get started: It starts with inward contemplation to recognize the problem within yourself. Then you talk to everyone you know about this, about what you've realized you needed to change, and keep the conversation going. Maybe you can help prevent your friend or relative or yourself from making the same mistake this employee made, and maybe when my boyfriend and I run errands we can get through it without being made to feel like suspicious delinquents. We really would appreciate it, thank you so much.

I did not have a good experience with their grooming department. While my small dog came out looking very nice, they cut my border collie mix's hair too short after being told not to take too much off due to his special coat.Additionally, after booking over a month ago on their mobile app and writing in the notes that one of my dogs had a heart murmur, I was told after walking in this morning that I was supposed to book in under "Express Service", despite there being no option of such a thing; I checked for this option on their once I returned home. They were kind enough to have one of the specialists take on this task instead of the originally booked specialist- I'm very appreciative of this; however, after this debacle occured, the main specialist I spoke with changed her tone and made it very apparent she was unhappy with having to provide the service. I was met with short worded responses, half-hearted answers, and a very dull, unwelcoming tone both in-store and when she called my phone to let me know my dogs were ready for pickup.I don't think I'll be returning here, for although 1 of 2 of my dogs look nice, the other is now shivering because he no longer has his regulatory 2nd coat, nor did I appreciate the apparent change of tone and attitude toward me due to a mistake that I had no control over due to lack of PetSmart's online appointment options.

Great place to get anything you need for your animals; food, supplies, brushes, tanks, cages, etc. Prices are higher than the grocery store for every day for brands, but they have good selection of higher end brands you won't find at the grocery. Pretty cool that you pet is welcome to shop with you and they will give your dog free treats at the check out. Need to make sure you get the Pet Smart card to get all the sale prices. Sign up for their discount card to get the best prices.

Prices are kinda high on certain items, But they do have the things you need if you can't wait for a online order. This location only has a few carts which seem to always be in use. Limits what someone can buy based off their carry strength.

Good place to get some quality pet products. I like how they often ask if you need help. I also find it somewhat irritating. But I suppose I'd rather know that in 2-5 minutes someone will be checking up on me ("are you finding everything ok?") in case I have a question rather than having to go looking for someone.10/12/22 Someone should probably check whatever area was pooped in by a dog with an issue and make sure it's been disinfected.Distinctive smell stuck in my nose the whole way home.
