This was literally the best hair cut my two Pomeranian's have ever had at Petco great hills. I didn't get the name of the groomer but she's not the one I've had in the past.. So happy with how my babies look.. Give her a raise tomorrow, please.

The first and, in fact, the last time I took my dog for grooming, I was dissatisfied with the service. The groomer, whose name I forgot, inquired about payment and a tip before showing us our dog. We assumed it was to expedite the checkout process. However, upon seeing our dog, we noticed the grooming quality was subpar, with a section on the dog's head noticeably uneven. It became apparent that she charged us upfront to secure her tip.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The groomer had an attitude towards me the whole time. The price for the cut I got for my dog was extremely high. I got one length on my whole dog so matting wouldn’t have been an issue. The quality and consistency of the cut was bad. I wouldn’t go back.

The store side is good but stay away from the groomers here. We took our two pups here to get nails trimmed, ears cleaned, and a bath. My wife almost cried when we picked them up and saw their nails. It was clear that they had almost no regard for avoiding the quick (the nerve within the nail) and we saw where our babies had bled. Many nails were still red and raw and we assume they had dull cutters since our boy's nails were cracked apart. We just cut our dogs nails ourselves now after seeing what "professional" groomers do.

I was very nervous about bringing my dogs to a big chain groomer after reading news stories of abuse. I started with just a weekly brushing to see how it went. That was good, so I started adding occasional nail grinding and eventually full bath and deshedding (for 2 large, fluffy dogs). I've been going weekly for nearly a year now. I always get the same groomer. Peggo takes good care of my pups and we love her for it.

Bella had never been to a groomer. Her nails needed help. We were worried how she'd handle a new person messing with her feet. And Tyler ended up being her new best friend. Tyler did a spectacular job in making Bella feel comfortable and cared for. We couldnt be more pleased.

Pego is phenomenal and does such an amazing job with my dog, who gets very nervous and scared around new people and experiences. She was so sweet and gentle the first time I brought my dog in that I had no doubts that Pego would be our groomer for as long as she's available! We've already been back a second time.

It was all great ! Tyler was awesome. Only complain is my puppy's ears were not completely clean. You could still notice some dirt. But other than that, it was an awesome first experience ! Will definitely go again.

Miss Pego is the best!!! I've been going to her for the last couple years. Even when the last location that she worked in closed, we followed her to the current location. She's so sweet, caring and knowledgeable. My pups are always happy when they see her!!!

If your fur baby requires an actual personalized haircut that takes time and effort, I wouldn’t recommend... spend your $80 elsewhere. I don’t agree with a “dematting fee” , when in fact there was no dematting done at all... my shih tzu had spots of moderately matted hair that did not require a super low shave... her facial hair near her nose and eyes was NOT MATTED at all yet they still feel the need to shave her head completely including her ears which had a few tiny knots LITERALLY By no means am i saying this was supposed to be “an easy job” .... but thats the point....that’s why i came in with money.... I booked with Petco not with super high hopes but dang... you think professionals would have at least a little insight on different “breed standards” or whatever.... like not to shave a Shih tzu’s face down to 1/8 especially when ITS NOT NECESSARY.... hence my first line...

Top pet groomer cool!! But if a potential new client is asking questions then control your tone . I sure don’t want someone who gets that irritated and has a rude tone over me asking questions. I have a thrive membership and of course I wanted to take advantage of the discount for a grooming session. But after that call I won’t be. If her tone was different then yes I would have brought my dog in but now I don’t want to because her tone just raised red flags to me. Dogs sense stress on people and it only makes grooming more stressful for everyone . Pets have been abused by groomers that can’t handle their emotions well. Yes my dog is 12 she still acts like a puppy , yes she gets nervous at the groomers/vet but has never been aggressive with any different groomer , the only complaint is she freezes or becomes Limp! “ I did call and make a complaint. But the store manager stuck up for the top groomer (or whoever I spoke with ) Maybe you should review that call and work on that tone .

They didn’t ask us if our dog was on medication in the grooming appointment reservation page. They changed our appointment time and when I went there They denied grooming my dog because he is old and diabetic and told me that it is company policy. I couldn’t find anything about this policy online.

Stay away from the groomers. Every time I walk in to just get a nail trim I am told that they are way too busy and I see people sitting on their butts not doing anything in the back, chatting. I’ve even tried calling before to see if they had time for a nail trim and they tell me that they are way too busy for something that takes five minutes. They advertise that they’re open till 530 or 630 and I have called multiple times around one or 2 PM and they told me they’re about to close even though they’re advertising they’re open later. I’ve switched to Petsmart.

Satia is the best. I usually take Sir Thor to the Pflugerville store, but we followed his normal groomer, because she knows him and she's the best
