DO NOT GET YOUR DOODLE GROOMED HERE. They obviously have ZERO clue how to groom a doodle. I’m posting a photo of what my dog looks like with a good groomer (Santa baby bandana) vs the Petco groomer (strawberry bandana). I will never take him here ever again.

I can't say whether this is an issue with this location or the overall online Petco service experience, but I tried for 15 minutes to complete an online order, but the page continued to remain blank after I selected "check out". After multiple attempts, I finally made it to checkout just to be told that the items were no longer available. Really? They disappeared in the 15 minutes I was trying to check out (while the business was still closed)?

Saw snails upside down. They will die like that. Person in that area did not acknowledge me. Even as I stood over plants. Just walked past me 4 times. Just not my place. I did not like how lady handled dog in the grooming center. This isn't my regular pet store. I jus happened to be on that side of town and wanted to get home. Stop in to grab 2 more snails. Sand. And plants. But was truly upset at being ignored and seeing snails in the condition they were in.

Chloe in the grooming department is OUTSTANDING! We love going here and we appreciate how incredibly attentive she is to the pups that come in for grooming. She’s always got a smile and is really excited to see my fur-kid Margo for her grooming session.Margo is always walking back to Chloe as we leave for more cuddles. This is how you know your dog loves their groomer!

Petco is a very solid big box pet store that also has a grooming department that does a great job here. I really think they have the best grooming staff that I've found. They are also a full supply pet store with all the food, leashes and collars and toys and everything you could think of. They have pretty good staffing patterns and I've never gotten stuck at checkout waiting in a long line. I recommend Petco for a solid place to go for most of your pet supplies and food!

Don’t place online orders for pick up at this location. Their employees do not verify they are giving orders to the correct person allowing people to steal or just giving orders away.I am extremely disappointed with your pick up service. I placed an order for an item that was out of stock near me so I ordered from a city 6 hours away where my family could pick up. They did me the favor of driving half an hour to the location to be told the item had already been picked up. They were unable to to tell me who picked it up and management there was a joke. You should do better to verify who is picking up online orders and ensure they are given to the correct person. Your employees are allowing people to steal orders other customers have paid for or just giving them away. Not only am I upset about not getting the item I wanted but also the wasted time, mileage and gas for my family member’s vehicle.

We signed up for Puppy Level 1 training (6 classes) at this location on Saturdays. The level of engagement trainer showed on the first 3 classes was way below par, but we were able to use those techniques to reinforce the training at home so we kept at it. We showed up for the 4th class to be told the trainer did not come in that day and the classes will resume on next Saturday. Then we show up next Saturday to be told the trainer quit! All this while I was getting text messages on Friday that they will see us in class next day! We were told our options were to either start from scratch in another location or to get partial refund for the 3 classes we are going to miss. We wanted to speak to the store manager for handling this so poorly but they had left for the day(how convenient!). Since none of these options were acceptable to us so we were told to call a customer care number. I called the number today and the person I spoke with said they would "request" a full refund for us!! The audacity!!! After the precious time we lost for our puppy's training they will "consider" a full refund request, instead of being ashamed of the mismanagement at their end!I'll make sure to stay away from Petco and advice all my friends and family to do so too.

Staff were rude and refused to bag up 5 tetras (tiny fish) for me because it was within 30 minutes of the store closing. There was nobody else in the store but I guess whatever the 2 employees on the clock (I wouldn't call what they were doing 'working') were chatting about in the front of the store was way more important than helping the only customer in the store. Note that they weren't closing for 26 minutes.. it was only 4 minutes into this bogus policy they invented to avoid actually doing their job. My son was devastated and I would highly recommend going to a different pet store chain altogether..

The animal that I purchased that day was miss labeled for their species, as well as an animal that should never be housed separately from other animals of a species as they get extremely depressed. It was housed separately and alone.

Today my kids and I went to this petco to get some fishes for our newly set up tank. There seemingly to be only two employees in the entire store at 4pm. The fish lady was extremely unwelcoming. She stared at me like I just committed some huge crime against her or her family. The worst part is when she went to get the fish, she nudged away with her legs my one year old who just learned how to walk. She fell down and started crying. I was going to get more fish but the employee was so terrible that I just want to get out of there with my kids. (The way she was grabbing for those tetra baby fish made me cringe. I felt so bad for the animals there. )

My husband and I have rescued 4 large dogs over the years, and use Petco for all of our pet needs! We have dog food delivered automatically every 2 weeks. Our order is always correct and without any issues, plus it's easy to change each individual order as needed! The employees at Petco have always been friendly, and helpful if I needed assistance.My only suggestion/complaint would be that there are frequent markups on popular brands, specifically the Merrick Limited Ingredient/Grain Free food. The doggos deserve decent food and with how much we buy/spend, it would be nice to have a rewards program that gives us consistent discounts, such as a membership. We would love to see Petco move towards this type of program at some point :)Overall we will continue to use them, but will be switching food brands due to cost.

Me and my partner brought in our 5 month old dog to get her nail trimmed we have been to a petco before at another location and never had this experience they were gentle and my dog felt calm and safeNot the case at this location, we waited for 30 mins walking around the store waiting for the groomer to be available, our dog walked around said hi to people she is a very sweet well contained dogWhen we got into the grooming area we were already met with attitude and bad customer service, immediately the guy taking her over puts the leash on her and is dragging her not even trying to nicely bring her over or make her comfortable, puts her on the table and attaches the leash on her and you can visibly see they put it way to high and it’s almost choking her she starts to freak out and yelp and cry the groomer just stands there the entire time while she is flailing her body around because she is confused and starts to choke her more mind you the groomer is still not doing anything and I start screaming to get her off and my partner runs over there and gets her off himself, then the groomer proceeds to say “your dog is crazy,” second groomer “that dog is crazy you need to take her to the vet” and I said “excuse me?” And he said “it’s your dogs fault” and I about LOST it!!! Who the h*ll says that to a customer and we clearly watched the whole thing, he was completely rude, no compassion, unapologetic, no remorse and because he screwed up he blamed it on our dog. I was in tears the whole way home.I told the manager to check the cameras. That man should be fired and I’ve already called corporate. I have worked with animals for over 5 years including a place with grooming. Those groomers should not be allowed near animals. Do not bring your dogs here for grooming if they are puppies or still new to dog trimming or any kind of grooming service.

Chloe and Jessie were able to groom my big furbaby, Pepe with ease, love and within a timely manner! I’ve taken Pepe to multiple Petcos and one other grooming salon and he’s always behaved with no issues. Previously, I tried a different Petco in the DFW area and the groomer couldn’t get the full grooming done due to behavioral issues that other groomers haven’t experienced before. At check-in, the issues were mentioned as they were noted in the system and they let me know that they would do the best they can to get it done. I come in to pick up Pepe exactly 4 hours later (love it, timely!), and Chloe and Jessie are raving about how good a boy Pepe is and that he’s a big baby, but they got the full grooming done! I wanted to cry right there, Pepe needed this so bad and I had been worried about taking him again due to these “behavioral issues”. I’m sooo grateful to come across these two ladies, true bosses!!! They will see Pepe and I again 🙂

Made an online purchase for store pickup. On entering the store, item was already available and pickup was a breeze. As with most retailers, their online prices are cheaper than whatt you'd see in their store. I'm glad I brought online. Items can be ready for pickup in an hour or so, if online purchase is made during business hours.

Grooming and ChloeI took my dog in for grooming and Chloe was assigned. I picked up a happy dog to come home, but when I checked a spot above her left eye I found a serious cut. When o attempted to clean it, bleeding was profuse. I stopped the bleeding and treated the cut. I paid for haircut and nails. Nails were not cut. The cut above the eye was not reported to me before I left and several calls and messages to grooming were not returned. I called the manager to report the problem and she indicated I must have caused the cut????!!! Totally unsatisfactory. Beware of grooming here and customer service. Not even one star!!!Update 11/27. I called Petco corporate because the general manager of the Lakeline store told me she wan not interested in addressing my complaint. So last Sunday, 11/24 I called corporate. Representative told me I would receive a call back this week. Still waiting. This a great example of a corporate culture of not taking any responsibility for their business. Hey Chinese! A perfect takeover target!I say again - beware of doing business here.

Robert’s excellent grooming skills, amazing knowledge and wonderful nurturing personality is the main reason I love coming to this Petco location. The second reason is your very attentive staff who are always willing to answer questions and take their time to help me with purchase decisions.

Horrible customer service, will never shop at this store again!!! Zero customer service from this young women working the cashier. I placed an order online and they ran out of half of the product for my purchase (it was on a deal buy 1 get 1 half off) but instead of figuring that out (I had to figure it out) she proceeded to stand there ignoring me then asked if I needed anything after a long pause…. She never apologized or asked if I wanted a refund or another product. I left empty handed and with a now bad feel for petco and their employees. I’m also advising everyone I know NOT to SHOP here.

Great service!Staff is usually so nice and helpful!We went there a couple of times and it was always such a nice experience!They have an area for adoptions, usually cats! It's so nice and you can interact with them, even if you can't adopt, please consider going and sharing some love!Prices there are also fair, you can get some really good discounts by signing up on their card.
