I recently visited this grooming service with high hopes, especially given the $130 I spent, expecting a top-notch grooming for Zarek.Firstly, I want to acknowledge the adorable picture they shared and the friendly staff, which earned them 2 stars from me. However, despite Zarek's natural cuteness, the grooming outcome was less than satisfactory.The excess fur that should have been tidied up during a standard grooming session was still evident, leaving Zarek looking somewhat unkempt compared to his usual, well-groomed appearance. This was surprising as we've never experienced this after a grooming session, especially after moving from Connecticut.I opted for a deodorizing wash, and while Zarek didn't smell unpleasant afterward, he didn't have that fresh scent I was looking forward to. It appeared he was washed, but the lack of a fresh scent, combined with his fur's odd, sticking-up appearance, led me to question whether he was brushed properly or at all. It also seemed as though there was no conditioning treatment, though I'm unsure if that was supposed to be included or an additional service.On a positive note, his teeth were brushed, and there were slight trims on his ears and tail, albeit the latter was somewhat uneven.The staff's inability to trim his nails was understandable given his discomfort with the process, yet it was disappointing that neither hair trimming around his nails nor filing was attempted.The grooming around his backside was patchy, creating an uneven appearance between the trimmed and untrimmed areas. Similarly, the grooming was inconsistent across his belly and private areas, showing a lack of attention to detail.It's possible that Zarek's breed and fur type pose a unique challenge, and I'm inclined to give the benefit of the doubt here. However, based on both positive and negative reviews from previous clients, it seems the groomer may specialize in certain breeds, suggesting a mismatch for Zarek's needs.Considering the price, my expectations were high, and while I appreciate the staff’s efforts, the outcome was disappointing. The grooming lacked consistency and detail, noticeable in the uneven trims and the lack of a fresh scent. Despite this, I still tipped for their service, acknowledging the staff’s friendly demeanor, especially Kenna’s kindness towards Zarek.To provide a clear perspective, below is the April image the staff kindly sent alongside my close-ups highlighting the areas of concern mentioned. For comparison, I’ve also included pictures of Zarek’s usual appearance post-grooming, which showcase the stark difference and the level of grooming we’ve come to expect. This visual contrast underscores the reasons for my feedback and the decision to seek services elsewhere in the future, hoping for a grooming experience that matches Zarek’s needs more closely.

Update: Kat left, but Ronnie did such a great job on Lola. He made her look fluffy.Go see Ronnie, tell him Lola sent you.Heard an ad on Spotify and realized this location was close by. Popped in and met Rae (spelling) and she was super nice. As we we were walking up to the door, I noticed how she pivoted to welcome us. She answered all my questions and I think she was impressed that I had a doggie binder on Lola. I immediately booked and was able to get an appointment the next day.Kat (from Cali ) groomed Lola and did a really good job. Lola was not jumpy or anxious when I picked her up which tells me she was in good care.For reference check out the before (couch) and after pics.Place is clean and very spacious. Lots of eateries and shopping around there.We found a groomer- KAT!

The Pet Bar is AWESOME! We were there with our Husky today. It’s very neat, clean and easy to use. The owner is very helpful and friendly as is his staff. They have GOOD shampoo’s, conditioners, fragrance sprays as well as brushes and combs There are EXTRA big washing centers for X-Large dogs. There are also separate rooms with huge dryers. We will definitely go back in a couple weeks and even pay for a membership! I highly recommend Pet Bar. You can do it yourself or they provide bath services for your dog.

While past visits were satisfactory, the last two were nothing short of disastrous. My dog's grooming session with Kenna resulted in a botched job – his ears were shaved despite my explicit instructions to just trim and he had multiple cuts which formed large scabs. Despite my initial upset, I decided to give the facility another chance (but would never book with Kenna). Unfortunately, it only worsened.During my next appointment, despite informing them of my 15-minute delay and receiving reassurance twice - once verbally and second by text, I was rudely turned away upon arrival, violating their own grace period. Despite presenting evidence of prior communication, the staff showed no understanding and even laughed at my frustration, displaying utter disrespect.Their unprofessional behavior continued when Kenna told me to calm down, further exacerbating the situation. Rather than offering a compromise, such as a condensed visit (wash only since 3 hours was already allotted for the visit anyways), they chose to dismiss my concerns entirely. This lack of empathy and accountability is unacceptable.As a result of their disgraceful conduct, I can no longer recommend this facility to anyone. Their disregard for customer satisfaction has led to a loss of revenue and a written bad review. Management urgently needs to reassess their practices and prioritize customer service. It's a greater loss for the facility than it is for me, but it could have all been avoided with proper management and professionalism.

Was the first time my puppy Cliff went to the groomers. The online booking was super easy, they are very kind and were able to calm down my hyper puppy. He looked amazing and fluffy, and had a cute bow tie when he came out. Will for sure be coming back (photos are before and after)

On Saturday, 3/9/24, between 12:45 pm and 1:30 pm, I visited the facility for self-service dog washing. While washing my dog, I observed a large black poodle crying for some time. During this incident, I witnessed Mrs. Marissa being rude, impatient, and aggressive while handling a beautiful big white dog (Great Pyrenees or Samoyed), which was also whining. I prefer places where I can observe what is happening with my dog. Therefore, I would advise being cautious if leaving your dog alone at this establishment.

I love this place, so does my dog! I get to drop him off weekly with my membership for a bath and teeth brush and they take excellent care! It’s nice having a dog that never stinks and always looks good. Not to mention my house never smells like dog either - BONUS! Thank you Petbar!

Lucy Lu and I had the best experience at PetBar Lakeline! This was Lucy's first professional grooming experience- she went in a happy dog and came out a happy dog! She was matted and you couldn't see her eyes when I took her in. The pictures speak for themselves! The 2 girls at the front desk were incredibly kind and didn't make me feel like an awful pet owner for the hot mess that lucy was and Taylor our groomer was just as kind! PetBar Lakeline is absolutely amazing. They have a very stocked self-service station and a full-service that is staffed by the friendliest people. My dog, Emma, is always treated so kindly and warmly. If you are anywhere in the Austin area, it is definitely worth the drive up north to have your pet pampered!

We love Pet Bar Lakeline! We have a membership and Ziggy has a weekly spa day (bath+brush). If you have ever had a husky- you know why -LOL! He loves it. The staff is always very professional and kind. I would certainly recommend them!

Excellent first visit. Establishment was clean, well organized and made for a very accommodating bath for my pup. Chose the self bathe option and was provided with everything I would need and want to properly wash my dog. I especially liked how well spaced out each bath station is from one another.Staff was friendly and helpful. $20 well spent, not a fan of cleaning out all my dog's hair from my home bath.The next time Yara needs a bath I'II definitely be returning to the Petbar.

I came in with a dog that was hiding behind me and left with a well-groomed pup that warmed up to the staff great!I stopped by this morning to ask a few questions, and talk to them about my shy boy that prefers women, small people, and quiet places. They went at his pace and he seems very happy after his first grooming without his favorite human by his side. Just tried this place out for the first time. It was so easy to book and they even had a Saturday appointment available that wasn’t too far out. Booking was so easy and the location is great and easily accessible. We got Taylor and honestly, I could tell right away she was good and so good with my Shih Tzu, Rowdy. I am not too picky about his haircut because it grows so fast so I was willing to try a new place. I picked him up and I am sooooooo glad I chose this place. Taylor did such a great job and I could tell Rowdy wasn’t mad about it at all. ;) I HIGHLY recommend Taylor and we will be back!

This was my first experience here at pet bar for my Lexi, I was super pleased with how she looked when I picked her up. I wasn’t sure which service to get, I have a short hair lab retriever, an they shed a lot. I was helped an was given knowledge to not cut her hair because it was already short an to go with a cleaning that would help with her shedding. Kenna did an amazing job with her an you could tell Lexi was so happy. The inside is clean smells good , an they text you with questions and when your pet is ready. I’m excited to take Lexi back.

This groomer is a breath of fresh air. Ive had so many challenges the past few years finding a consistent groomer that I and my pup is happy with. Meaning, they’re so quick, she didn’t have to sit there for 8+ hours like a lot of the groomers do with the drop offs. At pet bar my sweet fur baby was greeted, taken in and done all within 1.5 hours which is exactly how long she said it would take. No trauma from sitting there all day wondering where her momma is. They let u know right when they’re ready to be picked up. She did exactly what I asked and my baby didn’t seem traumatized from the experience. Found my new place!

I've been bringing my 2 dogs to PetBar Lakeline for the past ~4 months. I've been very happy with the service there. The staff is friendly and caring. It has been pretty easy to call or use the app to book appointments without needing huge lead times---so it has been good for my schedule. The price has been very reasonable--no more--and likely less--than I was paying elsewhere. The staff does a great job with Anya (usually just bath and nails) as well as Niko--who requires much more glamor work. We're very happy here.

Taylor exceeded our expectations and took such good care of our girl Fever. She came home perfectly groomed and smelled amazing. I took my dog Titus to get groomed at this location and I could not be happier. Titus has always been super scared at grooming places but this one was different. The staff was incredibly kind and Titus could feel the love. For my rescue pup this meant the world to me. On top of that it was a truly efficient process from start to finish. I am over the moon with this place. 10 out of 10 would absolutely recommend. We will be adding a stop at this location to our monthly routine :).

I took my dog Cookie here this morning and they did a fantastic job not only grooming her but making her feel comfortable. I could tell the difference from when I dropped her off - shaking and looking like she wanted to throw up - to when I picked her up all smiles and relaxed. The staff was very friendly as well. Really appreciated the experience I had today. Great amount of bays open for self washing and everything is clean and tidy. Owner was extremely helpful and happy to assist with it all. I definitely will be back and will recommend to everyone with pets to check it out!

I’m so happy I drove past this place and decided to take both my dogs. I’m not sure who the man at the front desk was but I’m assuming he is the owner. He was very nice and thorough explaining how the self service station worked. Our dogs loved it and smelled so amazing after. We will definitely be bringing them here from now on!
