I love this place! It's right in the neighborhood and takes no time at all to get to. All the other local pet stores are a little out of my way or in those crazy shopping centers. They have everything I need for my dogs. I've gotten one of my boys groomed here twice (so far) by Daniel and they treat him so well. My son has came with me on occasion asking buttloads of questions about other critters (tarantulas) and they are happy to entertain his queries. Will continue to shop here! Thanks everyone!

I love this place. As soon as you walk in, greeted by their wonderful and helpful staff. They have everything! Best dog and cat food, treats, toys and so much more. Prices are fantastic and they send coupons when you sign up for their free pet program. I feel in love with this soft bed and got it for my feline girl. She sleeps in it all the time. So cute.Definitely check them out -- right off William Cannon. My new favorite pet store.

I love this store. The employees are always helpful. I came in with a kitten I found and no idea how to take care of a cat, and they helped me with everything. Since then, we’ve been in a lot, and my dog even got groomed yesterday. The groomer was super sweet, I even saw my pupget a kiss, and he was very happy and smelled super fresh. His shedding is almost nothing today! Can’t recommend this store enough!

Staff is always friendly and helpful! Only place I can find my favorite dog food: Fromm Family ✨Get the dog wash punch card - it's a great deal and a time saver! The dog wash is sometimes closed due to plumbing issues so I always call ahead. The dog wash is three separate tubs, two large and one small, each with their own high velocity dryer and soap is provided. My dog is a old man and he doesn't like other dogs jumping up in his face, so we go to use the wash in the middle of the day, on the weekdays, and it's usually empty. I tend to get him some treats or a toy, if he behaves himself, because it's so reasonably priced.

Best pet supply and grooming store in South Austin. Adam and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and so attentive. All three of our dogs get excited to visit Daniel for grooming services!!!

I have been a frequent shopper since the store's opening and I never leave disappointed. I honestly thought I'd already left a review! I'm always greeted with a smile + "hello" and I'm always asked if I need help to the car. The owner Adam is very friendly and those customer service skills flow from the top down. Everyone is super helpful and inviting! Happy to patronize a smaller establishment made up of local animal lovers.

I order food every single month and the past 3 times I have ordered online it is nothing but issues. This past time was one too many.I placed and paid for an order online. I am currently out of town and my cats need more food. I called and let them know that the person picking up the food would not be me but another person. They refused to accommodate this slight change and instead just told me they would cancel my order. I told them repeatedly that my cats needed food and it was already paid for. It shouldn’t matter who is picking it up, ESPECIALLY when I called ahead of time and let them know who WOULD be the one picking it up.In times past they have retracted a coupon on my order because it’s a “glitch” in their system and it “shouldn’t” be allowed. How is that my problem?Also I order food and they are out of stock from items that I initially paid for so I end up with half the amount of food I initially needed.

This pet store is convenient and right up the road. We loved it even more after going by because my pup (20yrs old) wasn't feeling good around the holidays. The owner took his time and helped me find the best food for her. He was super helpful and now she is acting like she is 5 again. Thank you for all the help.

Cool new pet store, fish person review!!!They have a decent assortment of aquarium needs and fish for the size of the store. They do lack a few product brands that are a staple of the hobby. I did mention it to the manager, and he is looking into getting those brands. So far, customer service is outstanding, and they seem to keep up with their live critters quite well.

Great selection for birds, cats, dogs, and reptiles. They have lower prices for quality products than other pet stores. Also very helpful/knowledgeable staff. They also have grooming or a DIY bath station at a good rate. Glad they're in the neighborhood!

Very bad customer service , I was followed the entire time I was in store by the owner of the store. Greeted me and asked what I needed help with and “ I stated no need just getting dog food. Even had the audacity to ask me for number so he could see my purchases and didn’t ask for any assistance but insisted that he help me . I felt racially profiled and treated as if I was gonna steal. Than after I present my 15% off coupon and it goes through with no problem and than he decides he can’t take it. Not to mention this wasn’t the main issue. Issue was he followed and watched me like a hawk and asked for my number to see my purchases. ( I’m sure I can find the dog food I need , I’ve only been buying it for years as I’ve stated )Very unprofessional and will not buy from this independent owner of this location. I’m sure he will reply and tell me how wrong I am. I’ve read all your reviews and I see how you respond to constructive criticism , And it really shows what kind of person you are 🗑️

RECENTLY BROUGHT A KITTY MILK PRODUCT FROM THE LOCATION.AND REALLY LIKE THE PEOPLE AS TO THE OWNER.WHICH WE SPOKE LAST MONTH..BUT TODAY WASN'T THE BEST OF CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPECT.I WAS ENTERING THE STORE AND COULDN'T BUY MY PRODUCT,FOR REASONS OF POLICY OF BACKPACKS LEFT AT FRONT COUNTER.I TRY TO EXPLAIN THE BACKPACK DOESN'T LEAVE MY BODY,CAUSE IT'S SMALL.I EVEN SUGGESTED YOU CAN SEARCH MY BACKPACK WHEN BUYING THE KITTY MILK.BUT,THATS WHEN HE SAID YOU NEED TO LEAVE.DIDN'T EXPLAIN THE POLICY ON ENTRY DOOR IF IT'S NOTED TO CUSTOMERS.. Owner Andy/Andrew refused to price match me after an item was less priced from another store online. When I should it to him he said he couldn't do it because "it would hurt his pocket." That was a horrible reason to not honor the customer. There are signs all over the store front windows saying "we price match" this is false advertisement on behalf of Pet Supplies Plus. I would not recommend them to anyone. Pet Smart and Petco and Paws price match regardless and go above an d beyond to satisfy their customers. Not this place. The rest of the employees and managers at Pet Supplies Plus South Austin are polite and helpful. Just not Andy the owner.

These guys are amazing! We literally ran out of dog food late on Sunday night...placed a delivery order at the end of their business hours (thinking we'd receive the nextday), and they delivered the food right after the store closed (same day!!). We get 5 star service every time we go in, and this just put our love for the store over the top. You guys rock!! Customer service is not lost!!!

I took my senior Yorkie for a haircut today and the results were above my expectations. Not only that but I think they might have the cheapest rates for a full grooming package. Be sure to ask for Devanne she does great work.

I went today to get my dogs hair cut and the guy at the front desk was very rude. I took my dogs vaccination records and the guy said that they couldn’t accept them because the “breed was not right.” The vaccines were administered by a vet and the vet had put the breed . The guy was being very rude and was almost yelling. I am never going back there again.

Because this is a franchise store they refuse to honor a pet supplies plus I ordereda habitat for my chameleon last night and they took it upon themselves to cancel. My order because of a coupon that I had used My chameleon arrived today and had no place to live. He ended up passing away all because of a horrible judgment call. On the staff there they could have easily called me and said we can not honor this coupon. We would like to switch you to a different store. Would you be OK with that? That would have been fine but now they still got my money? Hasnt been refunded to My bank couldn't. Afford To buy. Another habitat what am I supposed to do I do not recommend this place to anyone? It's just a matter of time before they get close down anyways and you call yourself a pet store.well my pet is dead....actually she was there to return an item and luckily I explained to the breeder and she thought that what yall did was wrong and offered me a replacement for my loss all u had to smdo was call and I'd of been more that happy to pay the extra but u decided to make the decision you made without my Peta life up in the air instead you chose not to loss money and canceled s my order way to go pet supply plus (non Corporate pets supply plus...just got off the phone with someone from there and was told that there are a franchise and can do whatever they want and that there gonna continue to piggy back off the corporate website so becareful when using coupons cuz if they don't like it they WILL cancel your order without notice HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM THIS STORE...so update the manager dude didn't even want me tk come in to get puppy vaccines the only reason I had to come in was cuz popup pet vaccines decided to do it in here instead in front of sprouts is he made cuz I left a 1 star and just told the truth about my experience

I recently ordered cat food online using a $15 coupon code redeemed from the points I’ve earned after shopping exclusively from Pet Supplies Plus for the past two years. The order was canceled after it was flagged by loss prevention for some reason. I went into the store the next day to speak to a manager and maybe try and figure out a solution, because yes, I could go to another location, but the next closest store is 35 minutes from my house. Anyway, the store employee actually brought the owner up front, which I briefly thought would be even better to speak with than a manager. I was wrong. He was the same dude I spoke to over the phone the night before whom I thought had been somewhat short and unhelpful. Unfortunately, he had the same demeanor in person. He essentially said there was nothing he could do since the coupon was flagged. I asked him if it was just an issue with the coupon and he said yes. I left and used my coupon at the far away location without a problem.Fast forward to today- I redeemed another $10 coupon from my earned points, placed an online order, only for it to be promptly canceled again. I called the store to see what was up, and was told there’s a flag on my account in general. Not that the coupons are invalid, but that I, myself, am flagged at this location, or my account is. So it clearly isn’t simply an issue with the first coupon, as the owner had said. My question is why? I JUST moved to Austin and had previously been shopping at Pet Supplies in San Antonio without a single issue. I try to shop online at this store twice, and get rejected both times for using completely valid coupons. Now I don’t have enough money in my account to buy the things I need for my cats because both this order and my previously canceled order are both still pending a refund. I know the money will eventually be in my account, but some people can’t afford to wait a week when stuff like this happens- not once, but twice now. I feel like I’ve been marked as some kind of thief for trying to use $15 and $10 coupons from my rewards account for small orders of cat litter and cat food, not even anything crazy.Point being, I’m not trying to defraud the store. I’m just trying to use my points from years of loyalty to this chain, but this location seems to be the only one with a problem. I’ve looked through previous reviews and their responses, and it seems that this store promotes the rewards program, so I’m confused as to why my rewards are not being honored here. The whole “flagged by loss prevention” thing just comes off as a sorry excuse to not honor their own rewards. This is the first time in two years that I’ve considered shopping at another pet store, and it’s entirely because the owner at this location super sucks when it’s really not that hard to be a decent person and at least try to work something out with me. But what does the loss of just one customer matter to this guy? Not much, I’d guess. Regardless, I’ll steer clear of him and his location from now on.

Just found this place, they're kind of like a much smaller petsmart, but they also have dog grooming and a hogwash station that's in good repair. Very excited about this!
