I love this place because they have a huge selection of pet items whether you're looking for food, treats, collars, harnesses, cleaning products, pet clothing, training items, toys or kennels. They have it all. The store is always clean and organized and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They also support local shelters and rescues. I feel that the prices are a bit high but their products are good quality and frankly you get what you pay for.

Loved the selection!!! We are cat owners and are usually disappointed in most 'pet' stores selection of cat products. Also wanted to get something special for my cat Truffles for her birthday. The staff was knowledgeable in their recommendations and unbelievably polite. Prices were on par with the big box stores. Will be making this a regular shopping destination.

This place is great! I brought my dog in to pick out his own bed since the ones I had chosen weren’t to his liking. Everyone doted on him, and he has slept soundly in his new bed every night since.

First time in this highly rated pet supply store. The layout and overall aesthetic is clean and we'll thought out. Good selection of dog and cat products - toys, food, bathing supplies, etc.The only ding is for the lack of proactive assistance from store employees. I walked in the store and was not greeted by anyone. I walked through the store for about 5 mins before walking past 2 employees talking to each other behind the cash registers - neither of them looked at me nor said anything. I continued shopping and walking around the store for another 5-10 mins, walked past another 1-2 employees that didn't say anything to me nor asked if I needed any help finding anything. Overall, they all seemed rather apathetic. The only words that were said to me were when I was checking out, appx 10-15 mins after milling around the store in plain view of employees the entire time.

Love this store, it has the best selection of high quality everything. We go for the little dog play dates that they host sometimes, and always end up getting new clothes, treats and toys!

This place is great! We weren't greated for s few minutes even though staff saw us. But after we asked for help they were awesome. This place has a great selection of stuff also.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, awesome selection of treats, good brands. Been taking my puppy here every chance i get. Make sure to ask about their rewards system, adds up if you tend to buy the same food for your pets every time. Huge selection of dog harnesses and raw foods as well. I believe they also have an in store pickup program as well. Really can't go wrong with this one.

This locally owned spot has everything you could POSSIBLY need for your furbaby. And I don't detect a markup on what I believe is the best selection of specialty, organic, raw and limited ingredient dog goods to be found in Austin.

Holiday Event today was super fun, we never thought we would.be those people..but we crossed the line today and got holiday photos of our pups. It was a blast, the staff were very patient with all the dogs.Specialty pet supply store with everything all in one location. My dog is hard to fit for harnesses and they helped me find one that was easy to get on and off and fit my puppets. They also carry a wide selection of treats for special diets. My dog loves duck and we scored freeze dried duck training treats.

This is a great neighborhood pet shop if you're looking for toys, treats, combs/brushes, beds, food, you name it. The staff is very knowledgeable about their products and super friendly. The location is awesome and you cannot get better parking anywhere! The prices are competitive compared to other nearby pet shops and they carry quality merchandise.

Like most pet stores it's definitely more dog-centric lol, but is also my favorite spot in ATX for cat food/Supplies. Great prices, Incredible Staff, they always go above and beyond and are very considerate to your pets needs, you can tell they truly appreciate how important our furry friends are to us and it shows. Good selection and better prices than some of the other locally owned shops in town. Highly recommend. Would however appreciate more savings and deals on cat stuff as it seems like they really focus on dog promotions most often.

Favorite pet store in Austin. Nice people and great selection of quality goods. Free delivery is extra nice and convenient. They look like a large, box store, but don't be fooled. The owners and biz are local.

Wonderful experience shopping here! Great selection, helpful staff, and I love that they donate food you return if it's less than half empty. Haven't had to yet, but I'm glad to know it's an option and doesn't go to waste if my dogs don't end up liking what I get them.

Decided to get Dog food here because they have the brand I buy and it's conveniently close by (I normally order from Chewy). The price here was actually a couple of dollars less than the regular price at Chewy (auto ship price was lower than P&F). The staff was kinda blah, not friendly but not rude either, kinda not very talkitive and they do not greet you when walking in. For some reason I thought they would be more personable considering it's a locally owned. They seem to have a nice selection and store is nicely organized and clean.

Our first visit was good. We took our fur baby Max and it was his first pet store experience. I loved the selection of toys, leashes, collars, doggie treats and everything else. I loved the pet clothes. I do wish there was a bigger selection of pet shirts.I would recommend that the staff be more attentive because I was greeted about 10 minutes or so after being in the store. I believe we were the only ones in the store and I was quite surprised that no one checked on us. We were looking for pet treats but had to ask when we got to the register.Overall a good experience!

Great place with great products and amazing employees. This was our first time visiting and we will definitely come back. Not many places have products for cats and Phydeaux has almost half the store set up for cats. Erica helped us and she is amazing. Some of the best customer service I have ever received in my life. Erica alone is a great reason to go back, but the whole store is awesome.

I love this place. It's a bit of a drive from where I live, but I've found a grain food dog food that's actually chunks of meat versus paste at a reasonable price. Love the bakery treats. My dog has been happy with every purchase I've brought home. So it's a win in my book. Clean environment , friendly people. And if you buy a can a sale dog food, they donate it to the shelter.

Extremely genuine and helpful staff that want the best for your furry campanion. The store itself has everything big chain pet stores has often times at a better price. Take your pup in to meet the staff, sample the treats that line the front counter and leave with some great new stuff to chew on.

Everyone here is super helpful when I am trying to figure out what food would be the best for my dog. Also, the toys that they sell are very durable for heavy chewing dogs. My favorite part about this place is that in the back there's section of cute clothes for our dogs.

Our family LOVES P & F Pet! We cannot say enough great things about them. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and informative. I work at a veterinary hospital and when we don’t have what our clients need I always refer them to P & F! I love spreading the word about a wonderful local business 🙂Since quarantine we have been placing orders through the online store. P & F has the cutest store and the greatest staff. We don't visit the store as much since we don't live as close as we used to, but they offer free delivery in the local area. This is the friendliest most knowable staff I've experienced. You always feel welcome as soon as you walk thru the door. The events they hold for adoptions are amazing. They are always giving to the pet community. This should be the only place you go for pet supplies and food. They even have a whole room of pet clothes from funny to wedding attire!

The store has a bright and airy atmosphere, which is a huge change from the typical claustrophobic pet supply store. Wares tend to skew toward the pricier end, but many pet fanatics are happy to spend a little more on their companions. Staff is top-notch and endlessly friendly!

As everyone else has said, this store has an amazing selection and even more amazing employees. Everyone was happy to help with any questions I had and was quick to offer lots of amazing suggestions. The staff is always very friendly, and not too pushy. They are knowledgeable, and more than willing to help you find exactly what you're looking for. The prices are the only thing that stop me from visiting more often, as most of the items I can find locally quite cheaper. However, when I'm in the area I always like to stop by and grab a special treat for the fur kids. The staff makes it worth the upcharge!

My girlfriend and I had driven past this place many times and always meant to stop in. I'm so sorry we didn't do so sooner! The selection of toys blew me away. We finally found some truly indestructible ones that our littlest chihuahua can pick at without any issues. The treat selection also is wonderful, with plenty of healthy options to choose from. We'll be going back soon to get some items for traveling with our pets, and are confident they'll have what we need. Whatever you're looking for, you're sure to find it here!

I have always had a great experience with this store. I've been going there for 5 years. When ever I have a question or need advice about food, dog paraphernalia (aka toys) or anything dog related, they are always more than willing to answer questions. They also carry the brands are high quality and good for my dog.
