Worst experience. My dog looks like a toddler cut her hair. Customer service is terrible still charged me over $200 for this cut. I called them asked what happened with no resolution. I would not trust them with your dog.

This was the first grooming venture outside of Petco and thought it was so efficient, friendly, and affordable for a medium sized pooch. Dropped off at 7:30 am and was picked up in the 10 o’clock hour. They asked questions and I’m so pleased with their results. Chose Midtown as we are customers of Jackie’s Play and Stay.

They refused to board my dog after claiming that he needs to be fixed in order to be boarded. I understand that with him just turning seven months that my dog need to be fixed in order to board there. My only issue is that right when I needed my dog boarded they choose to inform me of this and with my trip in coming I have no time to get that procedure done because to schedule it already takes a couple weeks. Just poor communication. Management did not seem to care at all and was adamant that someone should have informed me, but they never did and I’ve been going there for several months.

I take my fur baby to Midtown for daycare and grooming, and I have to say, it's been an amazing experience. Rosa, our wonderful groomer at Midtown, does a fantastic job making my pup look fresh and clean after each grooming visit. Not to mention, my pup absolutely adores this salon; 'fun' and 'Midtown' are his cue words. His tail wags non-stop with excitement until we arrive. I give Rosa and Midtown a solid 10/10 and highly recommend them to my friends and family.

This is my first time I’ve left a review for an establishment and I am super pleased to say the least! I took my 1 year old Persian cat to get groomed for the first time and cannot believe how amazing they did! I’m usually very skeptical with groomers and their ability to give me the exact cut I want for my pets, so my expectations were low mainly because I didn’t want to be too disappointed if I didn’t get the haircut I asked for. With that being said, I asked for my cats belly to be shaved because he constantly gets matted in that area and doesn’t like to be brushed for too long or else he gets grumpy. I also asked for his feet to be trimmed since he has a lot of hair between his toes and to slightly round out the hair around his face for an extra cuteness factor. When I got my cat back, which ONLY took 3 hours, he was even cuter than when I dropped him off! Now my cat isn’t timid or scared of much so I wasn’t worried about him not cooperating with the groomer. I did however expect them not to be able to shave his belly since that’s a sensitive area for him, but they were able to fully groom him how I wanted and all without sedating him. I’m so happy that I finally found a groomer that knows what they’re doing and can do it quickly and efficiently. My cat came back to me asleep in his kennel because of how comfortable he was and I went home super excited to show my whole family his cute haircut. I will definitely be returning and bringing my other pets as well!!!As well, here are some before and after photos of him!

Really don’t know how this place has such good reviews. I brought my dog here because the place I usually take him was over booked for a while.When I called they said I had to take him early in the morning, seems like they say that to everyone because there was a lot of people dropping their dogs off when I went in, and other dogs barking and crying in the back kennels inside. When It was time for pickup a few hours later the lady on the phone said,“Your dog Bentley is ready, it’s not perfect but he’s good to pickup” I asked what she meant by that and she just said “yeah it’s not perfect there were a few parts that are not even on his chest area. Like WHAT.I got there and his fur was all crooked and messed up especially on his fluffy tail area.A about a few days later I noticed his testicles were swollen and red/scabby.They nipped his testicles and they got a bad infection. Had to take him to the vet to get treated. Luckily he’s okay!He’s a golden retriever for referenceDONT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!

Rosa is absolutely an amazing groomer. She is caring of the animals, asks questions to ensure you feel heard and understood when it comes to what you need for your pup. I will only have Rosa do my pup from now on. I really appreciate her eye for detail, and the compassion she has for animals.

Midtown Groom & Board is great! My dog was very nervous at first and the staff were very patient and informative while he was adjusting! Now he gets so excited the second we turn down the street and he comes home perfectly worn out! The staff have always been super friendly and inform me of anything as needed. I wish I could see pictures or videos of him during the day but I know he's having a ball at MGB! Thanks for all you do!

I (and my pup) ABSOLUTELY love Midtown!1. Unlike other boarding places, they truly understand that it takes time for a new puppy to adjust to a new environment and require new clients to stay for a 6 hour evaluation. Other places have 15 minute evaluations which don’t give dogs a chance to get accustomed to new dogs and surroundings. After my pup’s eval, he came home happy and tired :)2. My pup gets a lot of exercise and socialization. He is always excited to hop in the car and make the drive to Midtown. Once he sees that he is going to be staying there, he gets really excited and practically jumps out of the car!3. The staff at Midtown are always on point and friendly. I know they take care of my pup as if he is one of their own and I know my pup loves being there because he no longer glances back at me when I drop him off!

Midtown G&B does it right! They treat you like family and your dog feels right at home!Tucker went for his evaluation day and I was blown away by the level of care and commitment they provide your dog. They gave a full report on his day and made sure that he was comfortable in the environment.Overall it was an amazing experience and this will be my play care, boarding, and grooming location of choice moving forward!

My puppy Nahla has been going here several times a week for the last few months including a couple of weekend boarding trips. She loves it and is always so excited when she arrives. She is properly (not overly) worn out when she gets home and seems to be very happy there. The people who work there all know her and give her hugs when she arrives and she gets excited to see them like they’re family. I wish they had cameras so I could see her play, but with the way she acts when she arrives, I trust they’re treating her well.

Midtown is wonderful. Our pup loves going there for daycare which makes it so much easier on us humans when we have to leave her overnight for boarding because we know she will be well-cared for and happy. She comes home exhausted every time she is there, and based on all the Instagram posts she sure seems to have fun while she is there! I can’t say enough great things about the staff!

Midtown Groom & Board was great to work with and their staff was very friendly. I felt confident leaving my dog there for the day and when I picked her up, she was so tired from playing with other dogs all day. I strongly recommend leaving your fur babies in their care!

My goldendoodle is almost 5 and he has been coming here for grooming since he was a puppy (about every 3 months). He always looks great and they always follow my requests for his cuts. Everyone is so nice, I would definitely recommend taking your dog to Midtown! And especially thanks to Jessica for being so patient with all my questions!

Fantastic place. I can tell they treat the dogs great because mine is always so excited when she realizes where she's going. I use them for daycare, grooming, and boarding. And they have been great when I've had to make arrangements like having someone else pick her up or drop her off. Best dog place in Austin!

I took my dog here for several months before I moved out of town. She loved going to this daycare. She would be excited every morning to go play. The staff is really polite and friendly and they know your dog. It's very well organized: you just have to remember to make a reservation a day or two prior. You might be able to make reservation for the same day but chances are they're fully booked. The price is really fair compared to other places in town.

Although I now live in far Southwest Austin and I no longer work in town I still continue to use them because they are like family and my dogs love them too. And in my family, we feel the hairy noses are an excellent judge of character and establishments.

I would recommend this place to anyone who loves their dog and wants a safe, caring, professional, and fun environment for them while they are busy or away. Midtown is right down the street from me, and my lab Angus loves it here. He never seems scared or frazzled when I pick him up. He is always excited to see me but in a calm and happy way. Not in a "thank god you're here" way. The staff goes the extra mile to make sure Angus is well taken care of. Brandi is exceptionally sweet to Angus. I love this place as much as my dog does.

My dog had a blast boarding for 5 days! Outdoor exercise area. Service and staff are wonderful and made several calls during our first weekend stay to monitor a minor condition that arose--a reassuring sign that your pet is in good hands. He had a great shampoo and great energy when we picked him up.

We adopted our first puppy and very quickly had to board him as he was too large to fly with us. I researched every possible boarding facility in Austin and finally decided to try Midtown Groom and Board. We took our pup for his first evaluation daycare session, and he was very apprehensive at first. By the time I picked him up he was so worn out from playing all day that he just napped the whole evening. We brought him back for 5 days of boarding, and he was SO excited to play he ran right in and didn't care to even say goodbye to me! Being the nervous first time puppy mom, I of course had to call and check on him, and the staff was so sweet, and happy to give me every detail of his day. When we picked him up, everyone was sad to see him go home, and even the manager personally brought him to me so he could say goodbye. He quickly became a little instagram star and made so many friends during his stay. We actually feel bad not being able to take him for daycare each day because he really had SO much fun. The staff is AWESOME and I can't imagine taking him anywhere else now!

My Anatolian Shepherd and I *love* Midtown! We were Happy Mailman customers in Oak Hill and were thrilled to discover Midtown is owned by the same company. I can't say enough great things about them! They truly care about each dog - their likes/dislikes. They took care of Charlie over Thanksgiving and I had great peace of mind, knowing he was in good hands. Highly recommend!

Griswold loves to play at Midtown Groom & Board. The out door area, with all the squirrels, is perfect for an active dog.
