We really enjoyed our visit to Mandola's Italian Kitchen. This was our first visit, and we had to be told that you ordered your food well inside the front door before you sat down. That was the only hiccup. The food was very good and relatively inexpensive. It doesn't look like much food, but we found it very filling at $25 for two people. The best part may be the homade deserts that abound. We shared a large piece of chocolate cake for $8. It was worth every penny! This will be a frequent stop when visiting Austin!

Career service industry person here.. I currently work for a different fast casual concept and recently moved to the HQ side of things and I must leave positive feedback when I see it’s deserved. I watched the Manager, Maria, run the FOH on a very busy Friday night and she absolutely killed it. She was attentive to her team, her guests and helped manage expo to get food out to guests in a timely manner. She is an asset to this team with her obvious work ethic and should receive the ultimate praise from her superiors. I must also make note that the other gentleman running the FOH with her was also very attentive and helpful to all of the diners.Food was incredible.Tickets times were perfect.Hospitality on point.Keep up the great work yall.I would be thrilled to have people like this on my team!

My family love coming to Mandola's their prices are reasonable for the portions you get, the bread and olive oil that is provided before your meal is so good you have to be careful you don't fill up on it. Everything we have had here has always been delicious and the service is top notch, My son also always wants to go because they have a playground behind the building. Perfect place to grab some delicious Italian food in a family friendly environment.FYI, a little secret (told to me by the cashier) get the Chicken Parmesan with the "Rosa" sauce. You can thank me later!

Wonderful experience, from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. First, I'm standing in line trying ti decide what I want and the super friendly people behind me are giving me suggestions. Then the lady taking orders is super patient and friendly. After placing our order, we find a seat and they have great drink options, even fresh lemonade! While waiting for our food one of the staff brings our friend mozzarella which was so fresh and delicious. We also had pizza which wasn't the best, but decent. We also have Fettuccine alfredo which was DELICIOUS, the sauce was great! Throughout our while time there the staff kept coming by bringing things asking if everything was alright, clearing finished dishes, loved the whole experience!!!!! Had to tip even though you don't really have "servers" but the service was definitely worth it! Once I go back to Austin I'll definitely be going back there.

This restaurant is incredible! Here you can have a perfect dinner as well as a cup of a good coffee with a delicious Italian dessert.We have dinner at this restaurant several times, we liked everything. Delicious pizza and an extensive menu. Desserts are at a high level, each of the cakes looks very appetizing! Our favourite are Sea Salted Caramel Cake and Zuccotto. I definitely recommend to visit this place!

Was looking for a place with tasty sides, and this was the place. Came back for a second visit and wanted to try their woodfired pizza. That was also a good menu item.It's not a fancy place but a place to get a decent price for a reasonable price.

Their breads were so chewy and tasty😋I like that they have many condiment selections for free to take to the table. Very nice environment inside.We had lunch sets and the portions were so huge that it actually fed us multiple times. HahaI liked that we didn't even have to ask for boxes as they are set on the serving tables for customers to take freely.

What amazing food! We got it fast and hot. The side salad was the most flavorful salad I've ever had.Love the soccer motif hanging from the ceiling too.Shout out to Mandola's!

I have been here many times and it never disappoints. Everything tastes amazing and fresh. The portions are very generous and I always leave with leftovers. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Feels like you're eating at someone's home. Love that there is a bakery there with so many sweets. I would recommend their expresso with any dessert. Everyone I bring here is in love.

Doesn't seem all that different from the outside but definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to. Decent prices with great customer service.The food was good. The bread was a little too oily for us but overload of olive oil is usually how Italian is.The gelato is good. Their 'Love Potion' flavor with honey and oats was very good.Easily one of the most well maintained restrooms anywhere. They are super convenient for families with kids, having wipes, changing pads, etc.The front of the restaurant is the relatively brighter lit area. If you prefer, walk to the back and that's the lesser lit area for those who like it less bright. That also leads to the outdoor seating.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but critics can improve the place and help others. First of all, the food is tasteless and burned, and it's just not worth 16$ for chicken parmesan, and it was the worst I've had in my life. I'm not even exaggerating. The bread is good and the staff is friendly they need to cook better

Great place to take the family, there's something for everyone. The spaghetti and meatballs are delicious, the margarita pizza strayed a little from authentic but still tasty. The free bread they bring out is to die for. Make sure you don't ruin your appetite with the bread. It's hard to stop eating it. The deli has a great selection of meats and don't leave without trying their gelato.

I don't understand the 4 star plus reviews. My wife picked up Lasagna and Chicken Parmigiana with fettuccini the evening of 2/23. Both were the absolute worst I've ever had of my 50+ years on this planet. The Lasagna had an indescribable sour taste like something spoiled. The Chicken Parm was rubbery, tough, and flavorless other than too much salt. And lastly the fettuccini was also just tasteless, greasy noodles. The quality of Mandolas is no better than a school cafeteria these days. I'm done with this chain.

I haven't been to Mandola's since prior to the start of COVID when state employees were sent home to work remotely. And prior to today I'd only ever eaten at the Triangle location...many many times.Today I tried the William Cannon location close to where I live now. I ordered my usual, the veggie panini. I was disappointed to see that fries have replaced that wonderful potato salad. I was even more disappointed with the panini. The bread seemed different from the thick nutty seedy bread I remembered. Bread today was like Oatnut bread thin but still not as nutty. The bread was mushy. Veggies mushy. I was so disappointed. All I could think as I ate is that it seems (in general) that as the number of locations increase the quality of food decreases. I hate to see that with Mandola's.That said- I also ordered a piece of coconut cake and it was delicious. It was fresh, moist, perfectly wonderful.The service from every employee I encountered was great and the restaurant was clean and comfortable with a moderate crowd for a Sunday 5pm.

1st time here. New to Texas. From Chicago and we have AMAZING Italian in Chicago so I was very leary about what I'd get here. Absolutely phenomenal! Fresh! I was with a group and we ordered the garlic fries and brushcetta for apps. Came out quickly and were so good wish we had ordered more! Then our food came, I had lasagna it was good but not as meaty as I had hoped but still very good! My friends had cheese ravioli, another person had the gnocchi (looked wonderful and I will try that when I come back with my family!) and then another friend had the soup and sandwich. We all loved it! The bread and oil that was brought to the table was so soft and had just the right amount of seasoning! Wish there was more of that too. WOuld have been nice to take home some with my leftovers :-) After our meal we stopped off at the counter and grabbed a sweet treat to go. I will be back and very excited this spot is nearby!

If your looking for authentic Italian food this is the place to go. They have a bakery/Cafe in the building as well. It was a little pricey but definitely worth the wait/money. I don't think I have ever been in a place like this the experience is very unique.
