I absolutely agree with all the wonderful reviews that were written here. It was our first time at Lobo today, and I am so amazed at how wonderful my pup looked after Rene was done with her. Rene listened to what I wanted but also provided recommendations as well. He did not disappoint! I could not stop smiling at how cute my pup looked after the groom. Rene is genuinely talented and amazing with animals. I was always curious about how my pup does in her grooming sessions, and Rene reassured me that she did great. He even showed me a short video of her being calm on the table. The short video reassured me that Lobo creates a calm and safe environment for dogs to have the best grooming experience. We have been to a total of 5 groomers in Austin before stopping at Lobo. It is safe to say that I finally found a place where I can bring my pup and know that she will receive the best grooming experience in Austin. I highly recommend Lobo!

The most amazing dog groomer ever! They always have time for my Newfoundland who has a lot of hair and a lot of drool; and they do a phenomenal job every single time. I’ve brought my dog here for the past six months and have never had any complaints. He looks great after the Lono groom and is always very happy to go in. Plus with his complicated hair they’re always very careful to cut it well while preserving his natural style. 5 stars!

I heard of Lobo through Melissa! I took my boy here to get the Lobo Bath package. To my surprise, everything I wanted for him was included! Not only was he super clean, super soft, and smelling amazing, he wasn't shedding fur everywhere either!(which is typical after he gets a bath). His nails have never been so smooth, and I definitely could tell he felt pampered and happy to be so clean! I was really glad to have him receive this level of care and attention, as some of these services are tricky to do on my own, but I know he appreciates it, as do I!I felt very comfortable taking him in, I could tell he was in amazing care, with people who are passionate and caring about what they do, and the doggies they work with. I would certainly recommend brining your dog here for any service. We will most definitely be back for more, and perhaps even some creative services next time! :) Thank you Lobo team!

I cannot express enough gratitude to Lobo and their team! My dog has never had a good experience at the groomer and is always nervous to go, but this time when he was done he wasn’t ready to leave!!!Nate was our groomer and he was so patient and kind with my dog. He moved at his pace and made my dog extremely comfortable. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you Nate!

I have had three great experiences at Lobo with both my standard poodles, Fiona and Duffy. I know this is way too long, but here’s the deal. Melissa at Lobo is nothing short of an artist. Just before New Years, I took Fiona to Lobo. Here’s what they had to work with: we’d missed a grooming appointment at our old groomers when I was sick and we had to reschedule so far out that Fiona’s coat was reaching critical mass. So I made it worse bathing and conditioning her, but not getting all the moisture out when I dried and brushed her out, so of course that curly hair underneath kinked up and matted. Vale of tears.🙄 Like a sculptor, Melissa picked out the areas that would cause Fiona too much distress to comb out and they would have to go short and other areas where she could keep some stylin’ fluff. The result was a gorgeous cut, close trim body and legs with Fiona’s signature apricot fluffy go-go boots, top knot, and tail. More artistry: Melissa even found a way cut the hair on Fiona’s ears sort of in layers to de-emphasize where she had to take out some mats, retaining total ear fluff.😊 Just a beautiful job. Yesterday I took Duffy and Melissa did her thing and he’s a handsome big boy with a gorgeous cut, ridiculously good looking. And today another beautiful cut for her majesty (Fiona). Thanks, Lobo. Wonderful place that really cares about the safety and comfort of our pets . Rene and Tasha helped our sweet pup. He has severe anxiety stemming from prior abuse, and they were nothing but kind, patient, and cared immensely for his well being. It means so much to us to know that he wasn't just another pet to be groomed . I would recommend them to anyone, and our little guy came out looking adorable.

I have an incredibly anxious rescue dog who has been to other groomers and either been turned away or the groom couldn’t be finished, but at Lobo my dog Sopapilla came back clean and fully groomed and less stressed than in any grooming salon I’ve ever taken her to. We love it!

Rene was patient, thorough, and very communicative. I wanted a rainbow tail and he totally brought it to life while also doing an amazing overall groom! The tail has two different effects/colors when it’s up vs when it’s down so the attention to detail was awesome. The set up is nice as well, a little yard area which I know my pup appreciates while waiting instead of just being inside. (picture taken at home)

Whenever I tell my dog, Maddie she is going to see Rene, she immediately perks up! I have been bringing Maddie to Rene for more than three years. He makes me feel very comfortable leaving her. He always listens to any requests and offers suggestions if I have any questions. Her ears can get quite matted, but he gently works on her to get the tangles out, preserving their length when he can. She always comes back clean and refreshed, her shiny coat smells amazing for days. I highly recommend Rene to anyone!
