This is the best pet store ever! My dog and cat both love all of healthy pet's products. We have been coming to the store regularly for 8 years. From the dog/cat wash to superior treats to the phenomenal staff- nothing else compares.We started coming to the store when the owner was there every day with his sweet pup Biggie. He has cultivated an amazing community. My 13 year old domestic shorthair and my 6 year old Australian Shepherd are both incredibly healthy and youthful and it's all because of healthy pet!Do yourself a favor and order from them or visit in person!

I recently moved to the area and started taking a long morning walk with my dogs every day. I popped into this shop after getting my coffee looking for a small bag of treats to give my dogs while they played on the turf right outside. The shop is well-stocked with a large variety of options and brands. The staff are very friendly and informative. They even allow you to leave your dog with them for a few minutes if you need to grab something quickly from TJ’s next door (which doesn’t allow animals inside), which I think is awesome. This place is now the final stop on our walk where I get my pups one fresh-made treat before we head home.

Very clean, newer, and lots of goodies for the pets. The accesiblity to downtown Austin in Seaholm Power Plant is a perfect location for this Healthy Pet store. New concept of do-it-yourself wash your pet is an amazing concept and convenience for homeowners living in the nearby condos and residences.

The location is wonderful! There’s two people here that really make this location shine, Brittany, and Bradley. They definitely go above and beyond for people and really, they’re both amazing. high-quality products here, but it is very expensive. there’s also a pet washing station here, which is great. They take Apple Pay here which is also handy. Some of the people at this location are incredibly rude and clearly do not care about you or their job. and I will say that those people really make this great store look bad. I will say that Bradley and Brittany are absolutely amazing and if you work with them, you won’t regret it and you will leave with a smile on your face. And a very happy furry friend. Also, if you’re headed to Trader Joe’s, and then want to go to Healthy, Pet afterwards, you can always leave your dog at happy pet for a short period of time while you do your shopping at Trader Joe’s.

I took my dog here to get a birthday toy and treat. He came in very anxious at first and the staff approached him very gently and calmy. After one of the staff gave him a treat and talked to him he trusted them. He was very kind and gave him some water. I wanted to say thank you for being so kind to my dog and understanding to his social anxiety 😊 You made him very happy and went above and beyond your job 😁

Good concept to do-it-yourself washing your pet. Accessible location in Seaholm Powerplant business district in downtown Austin. It’s a new facility and everything is clean. The parking can be challenging though especially during peak hours of the shopping area at rush hours.

The folks at Healthy Pet are so friendly. I've stopped in a few times with my large breed pup. Their selection of treats and toys is unmatched. Recently we visited to pick up some treats, toys, and food. I had my hands full, (literally) juggling my puppy, toys and treats, and a 25 lb bag of food. A sales associate helped me out to my car, and it made all of the difference. We love Healthy Pet, we'll definitely be back.

Came here to use the self service dog wash. The staff was super helpful, cleaned the station before I stepped in, and provided everything we needed for bath time. There are multiple options for shampoos and conditioners, and the strong water pressure really expedited the process of rinsing him off. It was $12, untimed so you can take as long as you need. Definitely worth it. Also unrelated, but they will watch your pup while you go for a grocery run next door at Trader Joe's!

Can't say enough good things about this location and especially their staff. Being a dog owner of a new Australian Shepherd, I've found myself with a lot of questions which felt like they could only be answered and solutioned by the experts. The staff at this Healthy Pet is has been my trusted consultants for questions ranging from choice of food, collars, harnesses, leashes, toys, and the list goes on. Most recently, Jamie helped me solve a major pulling problem that I've had with my dog. Initially I inquired about a gentle leader, which she helped me put on my dog for a test drive and then guided me to a prong collar which she had considerable knowledge around. After adjusting the prong collar to fit appropriately, we put it on my dog and near instantaneously, my dog no longer had a pulling problem. Absolute magic and the perfect example of why I continue coming back to this location. Thanks for all that y'all do!

Wonderful staff! I had a great experience here after moving to Austin. I was concerned about finding another pet store that carried some hard to find food but they had it, and offered to special order another line of the same brand if they didn’t carry the one I was looking for.When I mentioned my dog has some stomach and skin sensitivities and wasn’t doing great on the food I was feeding her, they made another recommendation of a similar-quality food with less ingredients. Two weeks later she is doing GREAT on it! I’ve tried 10+ foods with her and this is the best her stomach and skin has ever been.Finally, it’s worth mentioning that they offer free local delivery! Even in the middle of the pouring rain they brought the food as scheduled and the delivery girl was extremely helpful and kind!This is definitely my new go-to pet store in Austin.

Went in for a new harness and the employees were so helpful and knowledgeable about which harness would be best for my dog. They helped me adjust it in the store and I was able to test it out and see if my dog liked it. Would much rather have the help of these employees than trying to find something online. They also have the cutest toys & digestible, long-lasting bones for chewing.

Great selection of healthy pet food. I love shopping here because I'm confident in the brands they select. Selection is more heavy on dog food, but they still have a large cat selection. Service is always kind and knowledgeable.

I like this place, and am I regular. Just be sure if you’re going to use their dog wash stations that you keep them accountable for who is going into the stations. There’s two stations and I was first on the list but the girl at the front made me wait longer while others cycled through the back dog wash station. She even told me she’d call me as soon as I can go in, so I waited in the green space for an hour before going to check and the man on the list after me was just getting out of the back room, and then this other man went straight into the back wash station while I had to wait even longer for the front dog wash station. They said there’s not two lists for the stations so I’m not sure what happened there. When I asked the manager he said it can get confusing, so I appreciate his openness, but the girl didn’t even apologize.

I came to Healthy Pet for the first time today, I needed a last minute cone for my dog after surgery. The employee who helped me gave me great advice and steered me towards the best option for keeping my dog healthy and safe vs the comfortable and more expensive one I had picked out. Seemed like pets are really put first here! The store is very clean and bright and there are lots of fun and unique pet toys and accessories. I would definitely recommend!

I go here at least once a month to give my dog a bath after swimming at auditorium shores. The staff is always so kind, especially given I am bathing a constantly shedding husky. The bath products are great and facilities are always clean. I also get my pup a snack after each bath, I like because able to trust the quality of their products.
