One of the best contractors! I looked at wood floor options from 4 places, they nailed exactly what I was looking for. They let me see 4 samples in my space, and I chose a good quality, with the right look, at the right price, no compromises. Then installation was efficient — they delivered exactly what & when they said they would. Took about 2 weeks to get in their schedule, then 2 weeks to remove the tile from about 2500sq ft and install. Bob is very involved and everyone was very professional and friendly. HIGHLY recommend

What a first-class operation! A week after the install was complete, I still have a huge smile on. From the first interaction to the final handshakes from the terrific crew, it has been an absolute pleasure. Working with a local company, so extremely knowledgeable about the product and the techniques for all kinds of installation challenges, was a key. Excellent price for our job, and amazing attention to detail in every corner. Strongly recommend.

We had an excellent experience from start to finish. They helped us pick out the right options, and then sent us home with huge samples so we could get a good sense for how it would look. 10/10! I am beyond impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail. Worth every penny. They were so gracious and kind even with pet running around the house. There was one part of kitchen they had to quick level 4 coats because the builder left the slab so uneven. They kept the home clean, covered every appliance and pantry, and after install swept and hand polished with microfiber cloth. The floors came out so great my dog won’t even sleep on her bed anymore- she sleeps on the floor! Thanks so much!

These guys are the nicest and most patient people to work with. They stand by there work and keep their word when guaranteeing your happiness with the final result. We had a super complicated hexagon-shaped room that was difficult to measure and demo. The crew really did the best job keeping our house clean during the process. Bob was super patient with us as we definitely pay very close attention to the smallest details, and even came back after the job was completed and paid for to redo an area that wasn't to our standard. I cannot recommend these guys enough! His crew, Ruben and Joe are excellent at their craft. If you want your floors done right, hire them.

We had just bought a new house in Austin and wanted to change out the old laminate and carpeting for engineered hardwood. We decided to give Hardwood Flooring Services a call due to all the stellar reviews online, and we're really, really happy we did so. Bob came out promptly to give us a bid and was happy to answer all of our questions. His crew arrived when he said they would, and did an absolutely beautiful job. They worked fast, were super polite, left our place cleaner than they found it, and even came out later to replace a damaged board for no charge (we told them we thought it happened when movers brought in our furniture, not when they were laying the floor, but Bob wanted to make sure we were 100% happy with everything even though the damaged board likely wasn't even their fault). Basically, we couldn't be happier with our new floors and the quality of Hardwood Flooring Services' work, and we'll certainly be recommending them to our friends and neighbors.

This is the second time we used Bob and his team. They removed 1000+ square feet of tile and older hardwood and installed beautiful new engineered hardwood. The crew was very nice, quick and did a great job installing and paid attention to the details, including making the existing molding look brand new & re-installing plumbing fixtures. We couldn't be happier from start to finish, highly recommend them to all who want a quality job.

While discussing details, they mentioned that installer will fix the floor if there is any issues and also will move the furniture as needed. They never mentioned that these will be extra cost. When I asked about it and if it is possible to provide some discount he actually closed to door to my face. You do not have to discount but you do not need to be rude either. So, be ready to pay some extra other places do not really charge if you are going to work with this place.

I just moved into a condo with vinyl floors upstairs and on the staircase. The original company did a poor quality job and I needed to change up the floors. My mother happened to have half of the square feet of wood I needed for my condo with a really nice brand of wood called Mirage. I thought I could save half of the money and called a few wood places, but they were unable to order the same wood. Bob came out the same day I called him and arrived on time. I was late and he already measured and had everything organized before I arrived.I went to the showroom just in case I wanted other options that were cheaper and Ana in the showroom was wonderful to work with as well. My only hesitation was my hastiness to finish my renovation right away and these guys are scheduled a few weeks out. They are scheduled a few weeks out because the quality of their work is great. Bob's service is amazing and you can't find guys like him much anymore.There were some problems with a stair rail in my place that was impossible to remove and he had some great ideas. His crew was able to come up with a solution that looks great.I will post pictures once my condo is finished with the renovations. I will be using Hardwood Flooring Services for my next place. I also found the pricing to be as competitive as doing a laminate floor with Costco and was willing to pay more for great quality and service.

Bob is amazing to work with. I cannot say enough good things about this business. He is extremely helpful, follows through on his commitment, installation crew is excellent. During the recent snow storm, he came by to help remove the wood floor even though crew belonged to water remediation company. It is rare to find people of this class these days - helpful, great work, amazing customer service. If you need hardwood flooring, this business has my strongest recommendation.

Phenomenal company. We used Angie's List initially to find them and they came out and did a bid for our flooring. It was a big job that included tearing old tile in our kitchen befoe putting down hardwoods. Their staff was friendly, showed up consistently on-time and our floors finish is amazing. 2 years later I had a toilet leak and ruin a small bit of our floor. I brought them back in and they repaired the floor for minimal expense and it is back to being new. Would use these guys time and time again. You don't find customer service like this anymore.

I picked HFS because of the Yelp reviews and couldn't be happier! We had four bedrooms refloored with engineered hardwood. The team of installers sent to our house each had between 7 and 14 years of experience installing hardwood floors. They were experts at their craft, installed exactly what we ordered and completed the job in the timeframe they told us. This was a big commitment for our family and I'm so glad we selected HFS to do the job!
