Good Evening Austin! 🙋🏽‍♂️🇺🇲Yeah I went to this HEB yesterday. So....not good: when I feel bad....shopping makes me feel happy. Even better....I went to Burlington next door 1st....Soooo....I bought a few items & then...went to this HEB. ITS HUGE! However: I actually prefer HEB because: they are usually very clean, & I appreciate how they employ so many young people of all races: & I know they pay them well. I didn't realize it's only 3 minutes further than Walmart on Ben White& I'd rather drive the 3 more minutes for a better experience...4 stars all day. I APOLOGIZE NO PICS.

Great selection of grocery items. And as in all H-E-B stores, they have a nice sushi made in store and a big bakery section.This location is located on i35 frontage road in a busy intersection, so sometimes parking is an issue and getting in and out is annoying.

We always come here. The staff is always nice and polite. They will make sure we get things we are looking for and the lines are long but are faster. I personally like coming to this one because I can see some of my friends. I like the way the store is set up to go from one side to the other side, it makes it productive. I have tried the oven cooked meals, and microwave meals when we are on a tight schedule and each time they come out really good even the sushi; it is easy and cheaper.

I get harassed by the employees and cops anytime I come here. I’ve been twice, but I won’t be returning because they keep watching me the entire time I’m in the store. This is a smaller location, but I’ve pulled into the parking lot and left before simply because they almost always have two cops standing in front of the doors like it’s a bank. The vibe of this H‑E‑B makes me uncomfortable before I ever step foot inside and when I do I get bombarded by looks and employees coming up to me. This is maybe my only review ever, but I’m just stating my honest opinion. I’ve been inside twice and had terrible experiences from feeling like I’m being singled out. I’ve pulled into the parking lot a few times and not entered simply because I feel I uncomfortable about the environment before stepping inside.

This is my least favorite HEB in the Austin area. They have been “remodeling” or something for the last several months (why they would do this over the busy holiday season i don’t know). Half the cooler isle are usually completely empty. The produce section feels like it’s always changing. They just rearranged it and its poorly thought out. I often leave without all the items I came for. There are always children running around unsupervised with parents that just don’t care. Save yourself the frustration and go to the new Heb off South Congress.

It's usually not too bad when I come to the store but today this one front end manager was short hair I believe in Hispanic girl gave me a hard time about leaving two packs of meat and some other items just for maybe an hour hour and a half until I can get more money because I didn't have enough. She told me I can't just come back and get the stuff again meaning just go look for it all over again instead of them being nice enough to hold it for me. She told me because most customers tell them that they're going to come back for it and they don't which I don't feel it was her place to tell me that either. Or to make me feel like I was going to be like one of those customers to not come back. However I managed to have enough for at least one of those pack of meats and some of the items but I shouldn't have to feel like I'm already being judged to not return for my stuff.

Lockhart HEB is smaller but is better than most other places. Selection is smaller and parking is limited. I love my HEB but Lockhart/ luling HEB locations need work

Due to the incident last night I will not be returning to this H‑E‑B. I’ve been coming here for 10 years but Jewel changed that last night when she accused me of stealing in front of my 6 year old son. All because my transaction froze on my card. She treated me awful, and then called security on me when I was asking questions. Of course I was aggravated but I wasn’t being aggressive or arguing. Every time I go in there, jewel ALWAYS accuses me of stealing. But this was the last straw and I finally remembered her name. As long as she is working at this H‑E‑B I will not return. They have hired some seriously rude people at this specific location over the last six months and I’m tired of it. The H‑E‑B on slaughter would never.

My daughter and I did the online shopping and curb side pick up. This trip was for Thanksgiving food. The ease of shopping online and having someone else do the work of shopping made us both very happy. The personal shopper did a great job of picking out what we ordered. The delivery gal packed everything and loaded in the car for us. She was polite and friendly 😊. We will definitely use the HEB curbside again!

Love this heb, this is the Mexican heb for me, you will find so many Mexican food things in this heb. Also they have fresh flour tortillas made in store and they are awesome tortillas.

Finish the remodel already. Going on a year now. No pizza, ice cream or any frozen food. Horrible. They don’t care about the poor people because they would never do this in an H-E-B in Westlake.

Y'all's shoppers for the online orders need way better training. As well as your option for replacement need to be better for them. If I tell them in your little app that pumpkin spice creamer is not an ok substitute than I shouldn't get nasty disgusting, vomit inducing pumpkin spice creamer.

We had the best experience at this HEB! This nice employee bought these water bottles for our school field day when we ran out of money on our gift cards! Two other kind employees helped us grab extra carts to load the water bottles. This HEB has the nicest employees. Thank you so much!

What’s going on with the HEB? It’s been under construction for months. Bare unfinished concrete floors, none of the refrigerators are on and they’re totally empty, the shelves are sparse and yet the parking lot is always slammed. Used to frequent this location but now every time I stop by for one or two things it seems worse than before. Hope they fix it up soon or just close it until it’s done.

Super friendly people at the office, and then equally friendly and helpful younger people will try and excited to see you back at normal jobs whatever that is but gainfully employed with a smile on their face genuine people work at HEB they're doing something right every time I go to fill in the blank, the produce looks astonishing and tastes like the prop it looks like for a movie, all the HEB produce they put out exactly what they have in the best of what they have if it's not there it means it wasn't good enough for you so it wasn't good enough for them to put out every time I get food from there the fruit tastes like it's supposed to.

The worst HEB I have ever been too. Nothing is in stock & they carry half of what other stores carry. I waited 20+ minutes for my pickup order once and just ended up leaving without my groceries.Edit: they still charged me for my order. I had to call to get a refund and they didn’t refund the entire amount. Had to call again to get my full refund for groceries not received.

I want to Recognize the employee name Chris, This guy was busy bringing out pallets and I had asked him if he can check if he had any Enfamil formula- on That pallet and Without any hesitation he helped me right away. I had been to so many stores -and no luck- until now.Thanks Chris for going above and beyond to help a customer. An older store with a weird layout, they often seem to be out of stock of things and/or have entire shelves empty.I don’t understand why they still keep this store open when there is a much nicer (newer) H-E-B just 1 mile down the road to the south.Why not open another HEB further east to support all the new neighborhoods springing up all the time out there and close this old one down.Traffic around this HEB is horrible and the parking lot is way too small.
