I don't even own a dog and I thought the place was great. Walls stacked floor to ceiling with different toys and goodies, all organized neatly and in good condition.

Wow, you can find just about anything here for your dog. Treats, toys, harnesses, dishes even items just to keep your dog in style. I recommend you visit here if you are dog owner. The variety of dog food is so big, you will definitely find what you need here. They have dry as well as canned food. If you find my review and pics helpful, please like this post.

SO.MUCH.DOG.STUFF.If you want it, they got it!!!I always stop here when passing through Austin to get my Service Dog anything be could ever want and need. The treat bar is so adorable and an easily stock up whenever we are running low!!!

I would like to shop here given the store is convenient to my home, but the amount of times I have shown up during his normal business hours, only to find him closed for some reason, is unreal. Two days in a row the last 2 days and countless other times over the last few years. I am done giving him my business as I cannot rely on him to be open. When open, the store itself is great. Good luck man.

Hands down the best dog store. This place has been my favorite for sometime now. I've recently come back after being out of state for a while. This is still a Gem of Austin for any dog (furry baby as I call mine) lover. The owner is very knowledgeable about all products and charismatic dude. I appreciate when the owners of an establishment have an affinity for what they do bc it definitely shows. This place has that.

I visited the store over a fun weekend in Austin. With my GSP, I wandered around the store for about half an hour perusing all of the well-priced, high-quality toys they had to offer. The store owner was not only friendly, but also very knowledgeable. He helped me find my pup’s new obsession and favorite toy, all while remaining friendly and not pushy at all. I will definitely be returning and recommending this store to friends.

We come here for all our doggy needs. The owner is knowledgeable and very kind. He gets to know your dog and when knee stuff comes in that might interest your dog he directs you to it. I feel like he recognizes me when I come in and he's always helpful.The prices are a tiny bit higher than what you find on amazon but it's worth it. When you have a problem you just talk to the guy directly.The chews are much higher quality. I bought a bigger and cheaper antler for my dog at a big box store that lasted a few days. The antlers I got from Outdogs is still going strong a month later. So the extra $1 was well worth it.

Great little store with all sorts of high end dog accessories and food! They carry a lot of Ruffwear stuff, which I love for my dog. The people who work here are super helpful and passionate about dogs.

Great store and the only store I found stud collar's in stock for 100 mi radius. Altho wasn't in the desired color that would have been aesthetically pleasing for my dog's coat coloring. But the proprietor did assure me that there were to be a diversity of study colors coming in soon on the next delivery. Although I was only in Austin for that morning San Antonio is my hometown. I'd rather order up Amazon than drive another hour and a half north an hour half South to get home with the stud color for my dog. Lol

This place is awesome! I love that this store only has dog related products. A lot of unique and premium dog stuff. The owners is very knowledgeable and fair on prices. I recently purchased some doggie shoes there since Austin summers make the pavement too hot for my pup’s paws. The owner helped me and my pup try on the Ruff Wear shoes to make sure they were a good fit before buying. Great location with plenty of parking, fair prices, and premium products.

This place is simply awesome. They have everything your doggo needs to love life. Prices are fair for items even though the location is in prime-time real estate.Finally -- the owner, who also works the counter most days with his trusty four-legged companion behind him -- is a very caring and helpful person. My pup was struggling in the heat and he brought us out cold water and an iced towel.Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Matt is awesome! Along with having a unique selection of dog items (he stocks sweaters and gear that you can’t find at other dog stores), he is the nicest person! I locked my keys in my car at 7:30 when it was 30 degrees out, and Matt kindly offered to let me and my sister stay inside after closing while we waited for the locksmith. We declined the offer and walked across the street to get coffee while we waited, and when we got back Matt had a heater out on the porch for us to sit next to while we waited! Seriously the nicest guy. ❤️

We loved the store and bought a lot of treats for a great price, however my wife and I paid nearly $15 for one of the handmade dog tags made from crushed coins and we still have not received it. We were in town on vacation so the owner said that he would mail it to us in a couple of days once he was done making it. It is now three weeks later and we still have not received it and after several attempts to contact the store we have made no progress and we have no way to contact anyone that works there. We are hoping this review will get some attention so we can resolve this issue.

Great array of products, competitively priced. Not much in the way of customer service with regard to customer interactions, however during checkout the (associate? Owner?) is friendly enough.Got our dogs matching harnesses and have been really tested. Love them

I love Great Outdogs. The owner is one of the nicest guys in Austin and is always willing to help. He knows his products backwards and forwards and treats everyone, people and dogs alike, like long time friends - even if meeting them for the first time. I highly recommend this store.

Although it was seemingly a bit odd to walk into a store with Teggun as the only employee, I actually loved the experience. I was able to browse all of the products at my own pace, without an employee asking if I needed help. I found an amazing color for my dog and loved the selection of products the store carried. I will definitely be back to inquire about food products for my 3 dogs and anything else I might be interested in buying! :) Teggun and the owner also made the experience even more enjoyable.

Blowing through Austin on a van trip with my dog, stopped here to re-up and grab a new ball for the very dog friendly park down the street. Such a good experience- for some reason my dog is very freaked out by pet stores, but seemed to have a good time in this one. Maybe it was all the treats she got from the guy working... On par prices, great selection of toys, cool leashes and collars I’ve never seen anywhere else, easy to navigate layout, perfect location (with parking/walking dist from park), exceptional customer service. If I lived here, this would be my spot. Thank you!
