Straight forward coffee shop with a few fun seasonal drinks. Appreciated that the staff didn't scoff at the modifications to both our orders and offered to start our drinks less sweet and add more if we wanted after trying them :) It's tucked away, but lots of parking and a few bakery breakfast items to choose from. Also lots of comfy seating if you want to hang out!Vegetarian options: Milk subs are extra

Came in to work in a coffee shop. Tried the Taro latte and the Morning Sam (Nitro). I really enjoyed the aroma and flavors of the blend and I have to say its definitely the best Nitro I have ever had with it being so smooth and delightful to drink.The environment was really nice, its darker in the sitting area and is a pub in the afternoon which is why they close at 2p.For working make sure your laptop/phone is charged. I did not see any outlets (I did not ask where an outlet was, but none easily available) It is a really good environment to work at if your not taking to many calls so I definitely recommend you come by to enjoy some of their impressive options and relax away while you work.Will be back. I hope Dog Day continues to grow and appreciate the owners love for coffee.

First time visiting this cool little spot. It’s a coffee shop by day and the other half is a bar/restaurant at night (I believe). So the indoor ambiance is a bit like being in a bar during the day but there’s lots of nice tables and chairs out so you can work on your laptop just like any other place -nbd.I honestly came specifically to try the nitro cold brew coffee flight. The names of the drinks escape me but I got the regular NCB, Thai tea, hibiscus, and mocha. All were decent, I’ll give my individual star ratings below for the drinks!▪️Regular black NCB - 4/5 classic🔸Thai tea NCB - 4.5/5 might have been the sweetness but this was unexpectedly good and a really unique concept.🍫Mocha NCB - 2.5/5 maybe I’m not a big mocha fan or it tasted off after the Thai tea.🌺Hibiscus NCB - 3/5 more like tea than coffee but refreshing and tasty still!

Nitro Coffee for sure! If you need a pick me up this is a great spot for a quick cup of joe. Friendly service, good coffee. The vibe is a little different than another of coffee shops, basically they're using the space of a bar in the mornings before the bar opens.

One of my favorite coffee places in Austin. The staff is super friendly and chill. I’m picky when it comes to lattes and cappuccinos and they make them perfect. The nitro cold brew is tasty also.

Strong tasty espresso!! Came in for a quad shot espresso. Definitely a unique place! Closed at 2pm during the week when I stopped in. Barista was friendly and nice, will definitely be back.

On Burnet in shopping center where Common Interest and Slick Willie's are. I always get Vanilla latte with only 1/2 oz of vanilla.Strong and creamy.The gentleman and lady that r usually there are very outgoing and personable.Great place.

My new favorite spot to hang out! Some of my favorite nitro cold brew, served in a place that feels a lot more like a London pub than a coffee shop. I've never come here and:* disliked the music playing in the background (usually classic rock)* been disappointed with my drink* wanted to leaveI normally don't take pictures of my drinks, but I really felt like I was walking away from the bar with a pint of Guinness at 7am. I recommend this place in pretty much every conversation I have!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of non-dairy options for lattes

There's a big variety on coffee and tea. I ordered a nitro Thai tea which was delicious. The location is right where the bar is when you go into the parking lot. There is an A-frame sign that says come on in, you just have to really look for it. Inside it's very quiet and there's plenty of tables and a couple loungers. I chose this location because it is right off the highway easy access to 183 and Loop one, oan bc it has the word Dog in the name :) no pup cups thoParking: Attached to the bar

The guy who made my latte was super chill and made me a mean drink, so good! Definitely recommend. Granted, this photo was taken after drinking and mixing it, but the foam on it was just right

A cozy coffee shop on Burnet. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating as well as take out. You can bring your dog to sit outdoors with you in front of the shop. There are pastries available with several coffee options, including hot or cold. The batista was friendly and quick. So if you have some spare time, stop by, get a cup of Jo, bring a nice book, and enjoy some much deserved quality time!

So lucky they're walking distance to my house. Easily some of, if not, the best coffee in Austin. Been there several times, never disappoints. Dirty Earl and the Mocha are fantastic, also just a plain cold brew is great. If you're looking for great coffee this is the spot.

I was a little uncertain about trying Dog Day Coffee, but I'm so glad I did! Their 90s cappuccino (espresso, steamed milk, and plenty of foamed milk) was one of the best I've ever had. On a Sunday morning when I visited, it was relatively quiet, which I really appreciated. The staff was friendly and the location was clean -- I'll definitely be back.

Specialty crafted Nitro Cold brews, Various flavors to select from.. They have homemade syrups here as well, and Great customer service!I tried the Dirty Earl Grey which was nitro cold brew mixed with early grey and oat milk. Absolutely delicious, Great experience!

I loved the flight option for the nitro coffee. It was a very fun experience. Some of the coffee is mixed with tea. It is unique and delicious. I liked the Dirty Earl, Morning Sam, house blend, and tai tea one. I also enjoyed the taro latte, but it was a bit powdery at the bottle. However, it is a great mix of flavors.

I got Hibiscus Mate tea. It was very natural flavor. Loved it. My husband got chilled nitro mocha. He liked it a lot because nitro added natural sweetness that is not overwhelming; some places make mocha way too sweet which takes coffee flavor away. Tables were not too close each other.

The taro latte is perfect and the Hair of the Dog special is pretty awesome too! The staff is wonderful. :)
