What a trashy experience getting threatened by a supervisor in the middle of working while telling him he needs to stop berating and talking down to his employee ....saying " I have a son who doesn't listen just like you" pulling pepper spray out trying to intimidate me like a sad pathetic waste of space.

Horrible location if you drive a vehicle bc only paid street parking. Bad location if you are disabled. Pharmacy is upstairs and I don't know if they have an elevator.

My experience with this CVS Pharmacy has always been very pleasant.Whether I am getting vaccines or my prescriptions refilled, this CVS Pharmacy makes sure I am taken care of with urgency and professionalism.The pharmacy is so organized and clean, and you can tell that it is well-staffed with people who care about their job and helping others.The Pharmacy Manager, Austin, is easy on the eyes, which personally for me, makes the experience even more enjoyable. Didn't think that that was possible!

I’ve been going to this pharmacy for almost half a year now, and have never had a pleasant experience with the frankly inexperienced staff. First of all, the head pharmacist with the awful 70’s haircut is very rude and answers questions with exasperation. Second, the staff walks around cluelessly and can’t handle the most basic questions without having to pass it off to someone else. There are many issues with this location and I’d suggest that if you’re in the area and considering it- don’t go with this pharmacy. If you do, be sure to leave a review so this burger joint staff can be switched out.

I am shocked to see that this CVS has a 2.5!! It deserves 5 stars. I have never had a bad experience here. The new location is amazing. It’s so organized and the staff is friendly and efficient. My prescriptions are always filled quickly!! I have gotten my vaccines here as well and all went smoothly. Don’t believe these bad reviews!!!

My photo book was perfect. The manager I think he was named Joel was extremely helpful and another employee offered to help me find products twice! Seriously the best retail experience I’ve had since Covid started. The employees actually cared about their customers and were so kind. Retail has become a nightmare but this store was a pleasant surprise. I don’t even get this level of customer service at Costco a store which I pay to shop at. Thanks for all the help I was in extreme pain from sciatica but y’all brightened my day.

Cannot recommend this CVS enough. Everyone at this CVS is attentive to my pharmaceutical needs. I was out of refills on one of my maintenance medications and the pharmacist Austin went above and beyond to contact the prescribers office for a refill in a timely manner. I received my flu vaccine here and it was an extremely gentle, professional experience. Their new location is clean and well kept - so pleasant to visit. Definitely recommend transferring all prescriptions here!!

I had gone to this location during October of 2021, and I still think of the terrible experience I had here. I understand that COVID was very prevalent at the time, so I went inside to purchase a mask. I was immediately told off by the male employee since I had entered without a mask. I explained to him that I was there to purchase a mask, but he refused to hear me out. Eventually, I was able to go to the self check out (the workers refused to help me at the actual registers, and told me to go to the self-checkout.) and I purchased a mask. I had told the employee that I worked at a separate CVS and so I should have gotten an employee discount upon scanning my extra care card. He dismissed me and told me it was already applied, when indeed it was not. Terrible experience.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at this CVS! The pharmacists and techs are always kind, professional and efficient, which makes the usual mundane task of getting prescriptions quite pleasant. Would definitely recommend if you need a pharmacy in the area!

I had the best experience at a CVS of my life today. Simone the Pharmacist went above and beyond to see to it that the medication I needed to take before a hospital procedure tomorrow was delivered to me. I don’t know how she did it but it got here. I had tried CVS locations in the area to no avail for hours. Stressed out, when I finally spoke to her she had a calming, reassuring, professional and thorough way that is unmatched. There was a glitch on the website delivery function? She hung up with me and called IT to try to fix it, and when they couldn’t she called me back and said she would see what she could do. Next thing I know I’m getting a call from the front desk that the prescription was here. Needed a miracle today- a miracle happened. Can’t thank her enough and will say CVS should promote her as far as possible because those are the types of people that drive a corporation to new levels and beyond.

This is the best CVS I have found in Austin. I think the workers here own the store because they were extremely kind and helpful. I was looking for a coupon deal that was sold out at all other CVS but they were fully stocked here. Their coupon center and price checker work where as other CVS in the area are broken. Also, they have self check out which is great. I went to another CVS and the manager was really rude with me. At this location, I was surprised by how nice they were over the phone and in store. Thanks!

Awesome customer service by Deedee and Joel. I didn't even ask for assistance. They offered it without being promted to do so. Joel's knowledge of the merchandise within the store and the items' location was second to none. Deedee's service at the register was smooth, efficient, and done with care. I really appreciate their energy. Thank y'all for brightening my day and making my job as an Uber driver and Uber Eats delivery driver that much easier. Please note their efforts for their next employment reviews. Their actions reflected positively on the store.

I've never had a unpleasant experience here. I get my prescriptions refilled here and make quick stops here if I need. It's a small CVS, but I'm always greeted and helped when I walk in and the pharmacy staff and friendly and helpful. They're perfectly friendly when assisting me.

I have never had a more awful experience at a CVS pharmacy. Horrible customer service, exceedingly long wait time and very uneducated staff. Every time I've been there it has been an uncomfortable experience and I have never written a bad review about a business but this just needs to be said. On one occasion, I had asked the pharmacist's assistant about the medicine she was handing me because I didn't recognize the name. I had recently started on a medicine and wasn't aware of the generic brand's name so instead of telling me just that, she decided to announce to the entire line of people that it was for anxiety. I was mortified to say the least so I thought it best to not say anything. Instead of getting mad, I called the head Pharmacist and without saying her name I said that I think the staff should be retrained on the HIPAA rules and standards because that is a serious violation. I decided that due to that incidence and several others that preceded it I would transfer to another pharmacy- Forty Acres. However, today was the day I realized I needed to write a review about this CVS in particular because something needs to be done. I went in with my friend who wanted to talk to a pharmacist about her medicine that costs a fortune and she was seeking advice on it to see if there was a generic brand. She waited in front of 5 pharmacists for 30 minutes without them so much as asking if she needed help. We stood in front of them as they all complained about how they are understaffed, how one person gave a completely wrong medicine to a customer, and other issues that are incredibly inappropriate to discuss in front of customers. Having previously worked at a CVS, I know how much they stress good customer service and I know how difficult it can be when you're frustrated with your job. CVS sucks to work at but it also sucks to shop at and I hope this post gives some insight to people who have had similar experiences with this CVS or others. Maybe this says more about the way corporate functions than it does about the workers but this doesn't excuse such deplorable behavior.

Consistently disappointing. Been frequenting this location for almost a year now. I get tons of automated calls about issues with my prescriptions but whenever I try to speak someone in the pharmacy to resolve the problem, I'm on hold for 30 minutes and get hung up on. I've blocked their number and changed pharmacies. The app is equally as useless.There's a Walgreens up the street with a cleaner store, nicer staff, and better parking. Save your time and money and go there instead :)

Truly hell on earth, they almost always have a huge line because they routinely fouling up refills mistyping insurance cards or just generally not knowing what to do. If you get a notification that’s your script is ready, rest assured it is not or it is wrong. I regret that I have to give this place one star. If my employer would let me use other options I’d gladly pay more for scripts to not deal with this place. I’ve considered quitting my job I’ve had for over 15 years to avoid this place

I called because I am diabetic and my last insulin pen broke. My doctor sent a prescription in for me and the earliest pickup time was the day after. I called in hopes that they could fill the 1 pen that day. The pharmacist was extremely rude, unhelpful, sounded like he hates his life. He told me he wouldn’t even have the insulin until 2 days later and to call another pharmacy to see if they had it in stock. I called Walgreens and they had it for me, so I called CVS back. He asked me “Are they going to call me? Because they usually call me.” I said that Walgreens had told me that he could send it over. After telling him this he was just like “okay I’ll send it.” So overall he was just trying to get me to do more work than was necessary. Absolutely rude and ridiculous.

Have had good experiences here, including vaccines, but I've also had issues with pharmacy techs on occasion. It's nice that it's 24/7 and has more options than a lot of other CVS's

The RX staff who helped my girlfriend and I today was very nice! We came to pick up an expensive prescription for our cat and the woman helping us was very kind. She took her time to try and find us a better price.

I have been going to this 30th and Guadalupe CVS for 25+ years...or whenever it opened. I probably go at least once a day for something like small or large. I have never ever had a negative experience never ever. When needed, I receive extra, detailed care. Twice, through the years, Antonio has personally brought me a heating pad and medicine to my jousevway before deliveries were a thing.

there's a good pharmacist here, a good clerk.. the clerks are fine actually but one of the pharmacists must be a psychopath as to the degree which he lacks any consideration or care for patients in desperate need of medicine or advice. said he "will not call my insurance because he doesn't have time for things like that" and blinked at the technical details of a medication i mentioned questioningly with what i took to be a complete disconnect from both knowledge and compassion now that he is out of school. told me he would provide information as to who i could call to complain about him and then went and filled prescriptions and did literally everything other than allowing me to inform his superiors of his petty immaturity, leaving me standing there for ten minutes. I hope complaints pile up against him until he has to endure the set backs I have due to the health issues he would not help me with. I assume that my review will be matched up to the pharmacist due to other complaintsi work at health food store and i care drastically more about your health

A decent and convenient cvs located on guad and in line with campus. Prices are high, as expected with a cvs, but conveniently this location is open 24/7. The new store is nicer than the old one and is kept much cleaner than before.

The CVS part is as good as any other, but the pharmacy is the reason I rate this place nicely. I love the feature to place an order to the pharmacy a couple days ahead of time, then walk in at the scheduled time, and walk out with my prescription. The process is hassle free, and I intend to use it again in the future should I need to.

The CVS closest to my house is expensive and the service is dreadful. They would tell me my prescriptions were ready, and when I got there, they NEVER were. EVER. It would often be 10 -15 minutes before any of the half dozen pharmacists would look up from counting pills for all the customers who were not ther, and holler "hey you have a customer " and one of the cashier lackeys would tell you they'd be with you in just a moment and it'd be another 10-15 minutes before they'd wait on you. At that point they'd tell you something like " Oh we couldn't fill that, no refill/ insurance won't cover it/we had to order it/blah blah blah. Then fill it, promising to bump it to the top of the queue and you finally go back to the counter after 30-45 minutes of not hearing your name, having read all the magazines, and they tell you it's almost ready, and THEN they actually bother to fill your prescription.I used them because they were close to the house, until one of their techs stole half my vicodin scrip. I didn''t realize till it was too late to prove it, but that did it for me.

They've managed to lose or mess up my prescription every time.The lady at the pharmacy desk asks for the same information from you at least 5-6 times before she needs someone to come over and take over.Don't bother calling to refill your prescription here. Even if you call they won't have it ready. Ever.

i have social anxiety and i am very low vision and the employees were so kind and helped me walk around (and didn’t make me feel like a burden), i had come to get some solution to help clean my contacts and the pharmacist helped me pick which one, the two front ladies were so kind and wanted to help me walk outside :) 10/10 from someone with bad anxiety and a disability!!
