Sasha is amazing! She is so kind and thoughtful. She kept me updated throughout the grooming process and made sure my pup always felt safe. She did a photo shoot and my dog was so happy! The groom on my dog is top notch and I cannot recommend Sasha at Barkin Creek enough! Thank you, Sasha!

Selena at the South Lamar location to such good care of us! My dog is a 60lb husky/chow that has a lot of shed, is skittish and dryers and almost impossible when it comes to nail trims. When I picked her up after her appointment she was shiny and fluffy and smelled wonderful. Selena was able to trim all of her nails and she didn't seem to want to leave after! It's several days later and you can really tell Selena went hard on deshedding, we're very pleased!

I took our dog Fisher for a groom today and had the best experience! Victoria listened to what we wanted and delivered exactly that. We’ve had such horrible experiences in the past with groomers wanting to shave Fisher to the skin because of a few mats but not here! There wasn’t even a mention of shaving him down. Thank you to everyone at Barkin’ Creek for making this such a great experience for us and Fisher. We will definitely be back. See before and after photos of our happy guy!! Highly recommend.

This is hands down the best place to take your pet! My dog used to have such a fear of people touching her paws and getting groomed. Now, she loves going! She always looks amazing and her groom lasts so much longer than at other places I’ve been to. They love Opal like she’s their own. I can’t recommend it enough :)

The staff at Barkin Creek are caring and accommodating. My dog was very nervous and reactive at first, and they sat with her for nearly 30 minutes trying to get her to feel comfortable. Her groomer, Sasha, did a fantastic job of slowly introducing herself as well as different grooming tools so my dog wouldn't be overwhelmed. She handled her with such care and I could tell my dog was happy and relaxed by the end of the appointment (she also looked and smelled amazing)! They take great care of your pups - I'll definitely be going back on a regular basis!

I took my 5-month-old Mini Poodle, Lucy, to Barkin' Creek for a full bath service with Charlie as our groomer. Right from the start, Charlie was absolutely wonderful. He was so friendly and asked all the right questions to make sure Lucy was comfortable being left with him.An hour later when I went to pick her up, I could hardly believe how amazingly fluffy and fresh Lucy looked after her bath! Her coat was beautifully brushed out, leaving her looking like a little fluffy cloud. She looked so happy and relaxed. In fact, she didn't even want to leave with me because she was busy giving Charlie kisses and snuggles.The entire experience was top-notch. Charlie's expert handling and caring demeanor really put Lucy at ease during her bath. And the end result was an incredibly soft, fluffy pup looking and feeling her best. We're already booked for our next visit!

We took our dog Mocha in for a much needed hair cut with Charlie and had the best experience! Before he took her back, he listened carefully and took notes on what we wanted from the appointment. Mocha's cut looks amazing and she made a new friend! We will definitely come back to Charlie!

Charlie did an amazing job with our two dogs, a golden retriever and a border collie mix!! He was so friendly and made sure to review what we wanted with the cut and the price before I left while dropping them off. He did a wonderful job trimming up the pups but keeping them natural looking! We will be back to see Charlie at Barkin Creek soon :)

Jennifer is the best groomer!! She is so patient and kind. I mean look at how good this groom looks! thanks to barkin creek my dog has become obsessed with the chicken bark! I definitely recommend bringing your dog here to get groomed, you can tell the groomers love these pups.

WONDERFUL—I cannot recommend Melinda at this location enough. I was agonizing over trying to find somewhere that would bathe and groom my shih tzu with various ailments ahead of her surgery next month and everyone at Barkin Creek was so helpful. The receptionist who took initial phone call took the time to go ask all the necessary questions while I was on the line and then scheduled us with Melinda, saying she was the best. And boy was she! Such a lovely demeanor and she took the time to go over how she’d cut and treat my pup’s irritated skin and even her damaged ear that’s getting operated on. My dog looks the best she has in years. Cannot wait to take her back to this great place and groomer!

Selena at Barkin Creek on South Lamar is the best! I have an older dog with multiple injuries, ailments, and issues, which results in a pretty grumpy dude most of the time. I have never found ANYONE who has been able to work with him so well, and has been able to actually groom him fully! I don’t know how she does it, but she’s amazing. When I picked him up he was calm, happy, and looked so polished! Thank you!

Tried this place for the first time and I was very happy with the service we received! Sasha did such an amazing job! She even sent pictures of my mini poodle when he was all done which was really nice! Charlie worked on my goldendoodle who had some matting and he also did such a great job and seemed very patient. Ruru was a changed dog when I picked her up. 😆 I swear she felt pretty and relaxed when I picked her up! She's soft and smells great. Eleanor did a wonderful job! Not only am I happy but my little dog really enjoyed it. Highly recommend them!

Jonas has taken such amazing care of our dog Rhaego with their grooming skills. They and the entire time are knowledgeable, friendly, SO KIND, and welcoming. Rhaego loves going to see them and we’re lucky to have the S Lamar Barkin Creek crew. His haircuts are always immaculate and beautiful, and Jonas takes the time to listen to his needs and gives great feedback. I’ve never felt safer and more comfortable leaving him anywhere. Rhaego always comes home happy and fresh. Plus he loves their treats and toys.
