Wow what a great first time experience. Signed up for yoga with the alpacas and it was a wonderful experience. Heather, the yoga instructor was amazing and the owner of the farm was so professional and informative. We had a blast and I would recommend this place to anyone! They have a lavender and Christmas tree farm and a cute shop inside. There were also wine and beer. Can’t beat that at all!

Pulling out of my subdivision in Aubrey Texas, I ran a crossed this event, and had to go see what it was all about. If you like lavender this is the place to visit. I had a really good time and enjoyed tasting the Lavender Prosecco. The alpacas were super cute. Next time I’ll come prepared to take part in a class.

My daughter, Grandbaby, and I went to TX True Farm today, not knowing that they were closed. The owner came out to say hi, and because we were from out of town, he gave us a personal experience with the alpaca's. He did this without us asking, He was a very warm, courteous, welcoming man. This is/was a wonderful experience that we won't forget.Thank you, sir, for a great time.

TX-Ture Farm was hosting lavender picking event. We didn’t know there was handicap parking until we walked up to the front entrance. Three golden doodles greeted us. The farm is small and has cute lavenders that are in season. We also hangout with the alpacas. Information about the farms and what services they offered were not visually displaced.Their gift shop were pricey.

This place is a gem. Seriously, you need to head out there. I wanted to take my 5 year-old daughter to a Christmas tree farm to create similar wonderful memories I have as a kid visiting a real tree farm. Saw that TX-Ture was only 25 mins from Lewisville, so we made plans to go Sunday morning (12/4). We went pretty early and were the first ones there. The guys in the parking lot greeted us with big welcoming smiles and happily answered my daughter's immediate questions. The short walk through the winding wooded drive was pretty great. It built an aura of excitement and mystery for what we'd find. Once we got to the clearing, my daughter locked eyes on the Alpacas gingerly grazing on some hay and quickly ran to the fence line. As she struggled to give scratches to each of them, we were approached by Russell, the owner of the farm. Let me tell you about Russell.... This guy, in the span of a few mins, became me and my daughter's best friend for the time we were there. I cannot overstate how joyous, welcoming, caring, informative and just plain awesome that guy is. Seriously. I don't want to give away what transpired but at one point, my daughter was roaming the field feeding an entire herd of Alpacas. (Sylvie was her favorite). She has been talking to anyone that will listen about her Alpaca adventures. The fire pit was heavenly on the chilly morning. The shop... what a perfect little shop. All of the Alpaca products are incredible in addition to the soaps, oils, syrup, beeswax, etc. TX-Ture branded. Awesome. The trees on site were easily the best cared for and beautiful trees I've seen in a very long time. It's obvious how much this family cares. While not yet able to cut our own (2023 they'll be ready), it really didn't matter. The smell of fresh pine fills the air. The kid's train is not to be missed. My daughter was in awe driving through the Christmas tree field. The entire staff was friendly, happy and genuinely appreciated that we visited. You don't find that anymore. The Grinch was on point. His voice was PERFECT. My only suggestion, and this is nit-picky, is to have more country-style Christmas decorations on sale in the shop. I woulda cleaned them out. Do yourself and your kiddos a favor and go visit this local farm for Christmas and for the family/craft beer/music nights that we will be attending in the future.Russell - this note is just for you. I cannot thank you enough for your incredible hospitality during our visit. You made perfect memories for my daughter and I. I will always be grateful for the wonderful morning you shared with us. Thank you Sir, you and your entire staff are THE BEST.

My friend and I had a great time with the alpacas!Russell and his family are super cool & nice.I’m so glad we finally got to visit. The first time we were supposed to go (back in June) the weather was bad so we had to cancel.Very nice farm with a nice shop to purchase items from. Also, Russell’s a great photographer ! He made sure to take plenty of photos and sent them to me.

We loved taking our son for his first real Christmas tree buying experience. The owners were super friendly and helpful. We ended up picking a beautiful Fraser Fir that looked very healthy and full. They had a good selection of pre-cut trees to choose from! They also have a cute little gift shop! Can’t wait to come back next year and support a local business! Merry Christmas!

Coming here was such an amazing experience! We came on a weekend when crawfish boil and refreshments were being served. Their lavendar syrup is so delicious that we bought a few bottles. We will definitely be back to feed the alpacas and hang out again.

We loved our experience here! The alpacas were adorable, the trees were affordable, and we left feeling the opposite of horrible. The letter from Santa was the cherry on top!

We had a great time with the alpacas. The owners Annemiek and Russell are doing a great job, and are amazing human beings. I highly recommend Tx-Ture Farm to anyone looking to spend quality time in a farm outside the Dallas area.

We just visited for a homeschool field trip, and this place was wonderful. We really loved it. Lots of great information, and everyone who worked there was so kind, helpful, and friendly. The best farm field trip we've been to in Texas!

The Gourdgeous Pumpkin Fest was the best. The fall setting on the farm was like heaven on earth away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Look forward to the next event!

TX-Ture Farm is a hidden treasure! We have visited several times and have enjoyed each visit immensely. The owners have their finger on the pulse of the area and are quite resourceful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the alpacas, the lavender, the markets, and were made to feel quite welcome. Our kids (11 & 12) can’t wait to visit again. I wish the gift shop was open year round. I would love to get some more Herbes de Provence.

This is a great venue for outdoor activities. The owners are on site and very resounding to the needs of their guests. The lavender is awesome, the alpacas are friendly and the Christmas trees will be ready to cut before you know it.

What an experience! Went for the first time with kids and I ended up enjoying the most :)Tour guide/owner is super friendly and down to earth person. I think price is reasonable as well.Alpacas were super friendly and fun to play with. You will feed, walk, and play with them without getting rushed or anything like that. Our little one had absolutely no problem with the Alpacas even though her height barely reached the body of Alpaca :) Just listen and follow the instruction of the guide and you will be absolutely fine.Plenty of free on-site parking are available. Make sure to take hat and water if going in summer.Do checkout their gift shop. To me items were expensive but everything is organic. I will definitely go again!

I went to Tx-Ture Farm and watched their Annual Alpaca Shearing Festival. Very disappointed.Alpacas were adorable and people over there were friendly. But when Alpaca shearing, there were 2 peoples to perform: one (older) shearing alpaca’s fur and the other (younger) assisted him. Before shearing several peoples put alpaca on the floor were very gentle. But when start shearing the one assistant ‘grab’ alpaca’s ears even the alpaca already on the floor. I heard the one performs (older) told him ‘Do not grab alpaca’s ears’ and he still did. Why those people so gentle put alpaca on the floor but he need to ‘grab’ alpaca’s ears. Some people told me the same ’why he grabs alpaca’s ears?’I did not finished the whole event, can't stand watched.I can’t image someone grab my ears!!!This was my first time to watch Alpaca Shearing Festival and I will not go back again.
