Ringo, my Havanese, recently received excellent care for an ear infection from Dr Spencer and his compassionate team at Hooves & Paws. I especially liked that questions I called the clinic with the following day regarding Ringo’s course of treatment were responded to with a call from Dr Spencer. They were able to work me in on a Saturday with just one day's notice for an x-ray for my dog. They told me there may be a bit of a wait because it was a work in, but I was there at 9 and already back in a room a few minutes later. He was having the x-ray by 9:30. We got some really sad news from the results of the x-ray, but Dr. Ragan was so kind and comforting. I really appreciate the whole staff with getting us in and seen and for being so kind. The cost of the x-ray was about 3x less than several other places wanted to charge. Plus they are not even 10 minutes from my home. Very compassionate staff in the face of a very difficult time.Edited to add that we were new patients and they still worked with us to get him in promptly.Another edit: We returned shortly after his terminal diagnosis to make the choice to end his suffering. Again, Dr. Ragan was with my son and I as we had to go through this process. The compassion she showed to our Jett, myself, and my adult son was so appreciated. She has a fabulous bedside manner and is so calming in such a stressful situation. Thank you, Dr. Ragan and the whole staff.

Took my dog in cause it looked like his dew claw had turned black. Thought maybe it had died and needed to be amputated. Turned out it was just matted hair around it. They clipped it off and were even nice enough to clip the nail. Just that one nail!!! And still charged me $67 for the visit! $20, $30 I could even stand $40 but $67??? Ridiculous!!

Finally made it to hooves and paws, and I’m so glad I went!!! My old coworkers as well as a few people I knew took their pets here and had been telling me for years to take my pup. Which is why I recommended it to my mom once she moved to the area with her pup, even though I’d never been. They loved it!!!When Jack, my 8yr old pup, got hurt, I called. They were able to fit me in same day. Everyone was so nice. Jack got the best care. I never once had to question if they’d give him the same standard as I would, it’s evident how much they care. Jacks is currently on the mend and doing much better, follow up visit this week.Aside from the great care, this was the least expensive vet bill I have had since 2014 and they did more than most other vet places.They truly value the animal’s well being. I would recommend to any and everyone to bring their pets here.

The staff is always so caring and prompt and the facilities are kept clean. Appointments are easy to make and they are always great about answering any questions we have. We started bringing our cats here late in 2023 and they’ve been nothing but excellent every time no matter which vet we see. I’m paranoid about my elderly cat since she’s getting up there in years, but the staff here always takes good care of her and do their best to make her comfortable even when I’ve just over reacted and taken her in over nothing. The pricing is reasonable too so it really helps us out when money is tight. 10/10

Hooves and Paws will be the only place I’ll bring my two dogs and cat. Dr. Spencer is so calm, knowledgeable and just kind and patient. The staff is so flexible and I’m grateful to have a such a close veterinarian to my home with peace of mind that my babies will be taken care of every time I take them there.

Alex was so nice on the phone and was amazing at getting me in last minute. Dr. Watson was so sweet and gentle with my dog and was able to explain things to me in a way that was very easy to understand. She sat with me and explained the examination and my dogs blood work wonderfully. She answered all of my questions and she even gave me cheaper options instead of the expensive medication unprovoked. I unknowingly went to Alex to be checked out and I just thought it was a sweet touch that she recognized my dogs name and was worried for her. All in all an amazing experience and I will definitely continue to bring my baby back here.

Dr. Spencer and his staff are so caring. I took my new puppy in for his first check-up. Dr. Spencer answered all my questions and explains everything thoroughly. The place was very clean. I feel comfortable of taking my dog to them. I would recommend them.

An outstanding veterinary hospital! The assistants and doctors were all very professional and caring. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The hospital is quite large, as far as veterinary practices go, with many vets on staff and extensive facilities but surprisingly personal and friendly. We moved to another location more than an hour away but we will continue to bring our precious doggie here. Highly recommended!

Dr. Spencer is the best! He is always knowledgeable, kind and patient.. even with all my questions :) Dr. Spencer has provided excellent care to our dogs over the years. His practice is the one I trust in an emergency and he has saved the lives of several dogs in our families. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else.His office staff is amazing too! They are always helpful and try to work us in when needed. I refer others to this practice all the time. I’m so thankful to have them.

Called at 9 and got an 11:00 new patient appointment for my daughter’s elder dog. We arrived 15 minutes early but were immediately put into an exam room and we got a sad prognosis. The entire staff from my initial phone call to our leaving, were completely compassionate and professional.Highly recommend this facility.

I found Hooves & Paws by accident 7years ago when moving to Aubrey. The passion, care and calmness I heard in Dr. Spencer’s voice that day, when I was in a panic over my pup. I knew I found the place I could trust to provide quality care for my Ellie. I have always had a great experience over theses last several years with all the staff and doctors.I was so excited when Hooves & Paws started boarding, I had previously had terrible experiences with a few other places in the Aubrey area. I find comfort in knowing if anything was to go wrong during boarding they already know Ellie’s medical history and could properly care for her in a time of need. I absolutely recommend Hooves and Paws 🐾

Words aren’t enough to express how much I love. Love, Hooves & Paws. As a fur-momma leaving our babies overnight is not one of the fun things I look forward to. But OMG how at peace I feel leaving my boo in great hands at Hooves & Paws. Boarding. They are so transparent and free to allow you in the boarding area to actually let them see how they set up your baby which gives us that extra comfort that they are in good care plus the vet is next door for extra convenience- and their rates are amazing 💖❤️ 🙏

Dr. Howell is my dawg!! (No pun intended) and his staff is nothing short of amazing, helpful, and very attentive. Unfortunately he recently had to do a leg amputation on our beloved german Shepard, and has shown nothing but compassion and kindness and gentle bedside mannerisms. Dr. Howell’s genuine concern for my dog is what will keep us coming back, and I have no doubt he shows the same concern for others who have brought in their fur babes as well.

I wish I could give this clinic 10 stars. Our 9 year old Golden recently had some health issues. The level of quality service and expertise the entire staff afforded us was impeccable. Dr. Spencer quickly earned our trust. It is clear he truly cares and he continually reassured us that everything was going to be okay. We are so pleased with the level care our boy continues to receive at this clinic. Highly recommended. We are lucky to live so close by.

I took my dog, Dodger, here for a wellness visit for the first time. The staff was absolutely incredible! Very caring and knowledgeable and put me and my pup at ease. Dr. Ragan was so attentive and patient answering my questions. Booking the appointment was simple and easy to do online and prices were very reasonable. This vet saved my grand-dog. I was watching my sons dog and she was really sick not eating and not walking well. Rushed her to this vet and even though they had never seen her before and it was 30 minutes before closing on a saturday they gladly took her. She needed emergency surgery and had to stay the weekend. The vet called me after the surgery...twice on Sunday and then again on monday. She came through great and the cost was way less than I expected. They saved her life. Thank you to the the vet and the staff for being so great!

Wonderful experience! My cat has been sick and the vet was so helpful, not only with him being sick but making other recommendations for his anxiety. Their prices are very low compared to other clinics. We take all of our animals to Hooves & Paws!
