I visited the store today June 15, 2020. Store was not very busy, but you cannot get through the aisles very good. I really had to maneuver the shopping cart while browsing and making sure I was not going to trip on anything or hit something with my elbows. I was greeted when I walked in and checkout was fine, but this is not a clean & tidy store and the emergency exit is blocked. It's just a disaster. I wanted to take more pictures of how disgusting it was but just took these few. Leaving a review on google is okay, but if you really want to leave some feedback so their corporate leaders can get this info, you can do so on the survey located on your receipt (also in one of my photos), and their store number is 14475.

Always closed with random signs up saying there is some sort of an issue. It’s literally 6:00pm and cars are pulling up disappointed. If you’re in a pinch and need something fast sadly you’re better off going to the 7 eleven even though they have less stuff! Because they stay open!

What's not to like about this place? The store is clean and we'll organized and I have always seen that their employees are helpful and seem to like their job and the young man that checked me out of my purchase gave me a great compliment saying kind words to me. A great day that I am now able to purchase food as I have been struggling because of my husband who has left me destitute and done all manner of maliciousness toward me and now God has given me enough that I may now give to the poor likewise do also that the Lord commands to love your neighbor as yourself. Today I will be a cheerful giver as God has given me all things. My husband I forgive and pray he find the Lord and repent for the evil that he has done to make me suffer as I ask forgiveness of anything I did to make him so angry with me. I have not broken my promise to to him and will always hope and pray the best for him. Thankful that Dollar General is so near and that they are affordable as to give me more that I can give to the poor and hungry!

This is the dirtiest dollar general I've ever been to. The mess is always the same, each time I come here. I don't even live in the area, but the 4 times I've been here it's been the same. Messy, unorganized.

Place is always a mess. They've had issues taking Chase debit cards for way too long now. The one guy (with the dreads) is always pretty consistent with his friendliness and helpfulness. He is the only good thing about this place aside from the convenience of not having to go to a grocery store to grab that one item you need for dinner.

Showed up at 8:55 pm and the doors were locked with the lights on and people still checking out.The employees apparently decided to close the store early and quit letting customers in before 9 even though the store closes at 10.

Best customer service, thanks to the manager and assistant manager for doing an awesome job training and re-training the staff. They seem to go out of their way to assistant you. I've been to several DG stores and this location outshines the others.....This location is always stocked with what I need. Prices pretty reasonable. Store tends to be clean and aisle not cluttered.

Shop here because of proximity and out of need. Visibility in this place is bad. You can't see over and around to other isles. A better shopping experience if they would cut the isles down to about shoulder height. Some might feel closophobic shopping here. Other value stores seem to have the concept down. They for the most part have things when you need them in a crunch. Also staffing comes into play here as well. Management in the back office when you have a line of customers. Need more emphasis on speed and getting customers in and out in a timely manner.

This totally not the staff's fault or the corporations. This little location in Savannah TX unfortunately was affected by the rolling black outs during the Winter Storm of 2021. They were forced to throw out all of their perishables. The store looked like people just came in and took everything off the shelves in a panic.The staff are working so hard to restock what they have from their stock room, however they are at the mercy of their Delivery from Corporate and then the venders that stock the perishables.The staff, from Manager to store clerk, always bend over backwards to help you with your needs. Even if it means going to the back to see if they have just even one more of a product for you.This Store will always be my go to when I need an item or just to look for some great deals for garden decorations, kitchen supplies.Thank you Dollar General Staff for always being so helpful even when you are understaffed and slammed with customers.

I like this Dollar General because it is super close to home and very convenient, and that's about the only reason. I have called several times and no one has ever picked up the phone. I have never seen more than 2 employees in the store at once, and most of the time there's only 1, which makes checkout and questions very very slow.It is fairly clean, I will give them that, and I know there's a method to the organization there, but it feels cluttered and unorganized. But if we ever need something quick, this is where we will go.

Nice enough staff but the store is..well disheveled. Like everyone quit the same day. Or they are extremely short-staffed. Seems to be out of stock on so many items and it could use a good spring cleaning. Maybe I should get a job there-help out a little.

You should see this store now! Totally organized, with displays like you see in a regular grocery store. All due to new manager. You can find whatever you need now. The service is still spotty, their sense of urgency is lacking. I mean I can fill a cart but most people don't so the checkout should be much faster and engaging. A nice hello and how are you aren't gonna kill you, neither will thank you for shopping with us today. BUT still gets 4 stars for a more pleasant shopping experience.I should have taken pictures, the ones here don't do it justice. There are no blocked or overloaded shelves, I didn't see one item that belonged in another row, and navigating your cart is quick and easy.

Stopped in for a few random items at 6PM on 6/14. I have never in my life had a better experience at a doller store the 2 young men who were working were helpful,funny, personable and happy. Definitely made and my oldest daughter and I's day! They deserve recognition.😁

How you not going to be open when the hours are posted and your machines or workers can’t show up on time. Showed up at 930 and there it even open yet when your hours say your open at 8am? This happens way to many times at this location.

The building was clean & the employees were nice & helpful. Only feedback I have were that some of the aisles felt crowded or close together - which child be a concern if you were shopping with a wheelchair or a walker.

There are never enough employees to get people in and out of the store. 1 person trying tag prices and ring people up at once makes the line longer because you have to wait. Running in to grab 1-2 things takes 20 minutes. This store needs more help for the managers to keep more employees. It’s frustrating and never convenient even though it’s right in the neighborhood. Not blaming management but it’s annoying that this happens constantly (3 years)

This is a horrible location! The man that was working in there refused to check me out twice in one day. He said I had too many items, I had 2, told me to move aside and took the lady behind me which had at least 15 items. Earlier that day he closed his register when it was my turn and opened it back up after the next cashier took me. Told the lady behind me he would help her because they stick together and are the same. Basically didn’t want to help me because I’m white. Very rude and unprofessional but I guess that’s what I get for shopping at a dollar general.

It's a nice little cheap place, I prefer Dollar store to other big stores, because I don't have to walk much, but I'd prefer it if the place was more organized. It looked like my room as a teenager with such organization.

I was here Friday September 18. It was clean and well stocked and I didn't see anyone smoking a joint out back this time. My only complaint is that the clueless clerk asked me why I wasn't wearing a mask. I'm missing half my jaw and I have metal rods(6) sticking out of my face. It's as painful as it looks and should be fairly obvious.

Found exactly what I wanted and needed. My only complaint is the music that is blaring throughout the store. It's like top 40 rap music and it's quite offensive. It may be geared toward the "neighborhood"; however, I don't feel it's at an appropriate noise level, nor the verbage of a lot of those songs are uplifting or encouraging people to shop.

I've been to many different location. The prices are good and a variety of products. This location is by far the junkies and most disorganized one I have ever been to. It seems like they are also short staffed. I've had to wait in long lines several times due to only one person checking people out..

Low on money, Dollar General makes low money work the best it can in this economy. But the stores feels like you're in a Dollar store. Like I'm in a garage getting chips gummies and dog treats. And their electronics, and serious level products are overpriced. I just use them to get simple items.

I mean, it's a Dollar General so don't expect anything classy, but the employees are all super nice and recognize regular customers. They're always willing to help you out and I've never had an unpleasant experience there at all.

Not happy with this location. Pulled up at 945pm to pick up cookies for child's party but couldn't get in. Guy saw me at the door then pretended not to see me. He proceeded to walk away from door as I'm knocking on it. Told the manager about next time I was there and he said no one would do that here...😒OK, so I just made that up? I'm done with this location.. How can you choose no stars??
