We went in there for one thing and Kate she helped us out on deals for what we needed and got us to leave with extra drinks but she was a phenomenal person! She made mine and my sisters day!

Stopped in family dollar for a quick one item stop. I found out the potting soil I needed was an amazing price due their current theme being ‘gardening’. Found several other items I needed were only one dollar. Folks that is 25 cents less than dollar tree. I’m still less than happy with dollar tree whamming us all (literally) with a 25% store wide price increase. Ain’t no corporations I know of giving out 25% pay increase with their annual incentive raises. At any rate the greeting upon entering this store was immediate, genuine and fun. There were 3 people on staff and all 3 were friendly and helpful. I had a miscommunication upon telling my husband a number and one of the cashiers thought it was 2 minutes to close. (He was actually like 30 mjnutes away yet)….but the reaction was priceless of how excited he was to be closing. I felt bad having toyed with his emotions like that. His excitement about getting off work did not come thru in his attention or attitude towards his customers however. Some folks consider this sort of interaction to be less than professional. I however as a consumer must say it far more effective in earning me as a return customer. Hats off to HR that hired this crew. U got lucky cuz that kind of help is not easy in this area. Jus sayin. And hey…yeah ~ those 3…incredible incentive raises would be fitting for their service with a smile.

Convenient for grabbing quick snack food or even emergency clothing necessities. I would even shop her for small gift items. Not my go-to store though.
