I order a large amount of helium balloons from this location almost every week. The young lady that took care of me today is one of the most friendly people that I have encountered. I call the day before and they have my order ready when I get there.

I had the WORST experience here today bc of the cashier Amanda refused to check me out a b d JERKED my hand basket from me when I was trying to get my coin purse & keys out of it! She was rude & ugly to me bc she said she was gonna MAKE ME empty the little hand basket with my items in it out for her! When she said she was gonna MAKE ME do this I told her since you put it that way I will not do that for you! That's when she went crazy & started jerking my basket from me!!!! I have a good mind to file charges on on her & sue this store! Not a good way to treat paying costumers! I'm very upset with this situation!

Store closed at 9:11 am with all the lights on in the building. I completely understand the shortage in getting people to apply for jobs but this is when you start sending corporate people down to stores. You never just “don’t open because I don’t have anybody”, that’s the point of a assistant manager/manager because this is ridiculous. Maybe if you paid your employees more and had more benefits you could keep people, however having multiple customers wait outside your store is pathetic

I have always been a huge fan of Dollar Tree until now. I purchased some items the other day, BEFORE I did, I asked an employee if I can return the items if they don't work. Her reply was "Yes, with your receipt." She didn't explain you have to purchase something else in exchange. I came back today to return items and was told I have to purchase something else. I explained that's not what was told to me. They paged their manager.She came out of the back just saying Yes? So I asked if she was the manager, she said yes. So I explained everything. She told me they don't give cash back, it says it on the receipt. I explained, I asked BEFORE purchasing and was not told that. I explained there is nothing I need at this point. She just reiterated that's our policy. So then I asked if there is a time limit and she said read your receipt. So I did. I told her it doesn't say any time frame, so it's my understanding there is no time frame. She said if the receipt doesn't give a time. I asked her to confirm and she said "if you read the receipt and it doesn't give a time frame.". There manager was NOT polite in anyway, was not apologetic of the miss communication by her employee, NOTHING. She had an attitude.

Made a delivery to Dollar Tree in Athens. Amanda, the “manager” was very rude from the moment she spoke to me. She had an attitude the entire time. Very bad management skills. I delivered my freight & ask her to print and sign paperwork. She was rude and called me an a**hole. Amanda, work on your people skills. Dollar tree needs to train management correctly.

I only give it 4 stars because of all the different things you can get there. I always find something I didn't think I needed. BUT the store is a hot mess. Everything is in disarray and there are always unopened boxes of merchandise left here and there throughout the store. They also almost never have enough checkers.

Wow, $1 went to $1.25 per item, shocker! I heard other stores were going up but understood this one wouldn't. However, everything is going up everywhere. The price here is still great. Also this store could use more help, they are doing the best they can. I love their variety!❤️

Completely TRASHED. ONLY 1 cashier available. She greeted me upon entering the store. No shopping cart available. There were nine (9) carts stuffed with merchandise and sitting in middle of different isles. If this is a store reset then District Manager needs to evaluate the situation. Time for management to get to work.

Only reason I am giving 5 stars is because of the sweet girl working so hard and so sweet.. thank you Ashley.. I am the one that gave you the Bible verse.. you were running all over trying to help customers..The company should absolutely be ashamed of themselves to let that store get in a complete disarray..

Love this Store. I shop here first before going to do bulk shopping at either Walmart, which is next door, or before another Grocery Store. They really do have a lot of variety of items all for $1.00. Truly everything is one Dollar!I get all of my cleaning supplies and toiletries and paper goods there as well as school, office and party supplies. They also have seasonal and "Themed" items for 1.00. Great Store.

Absolutely terrible manager. My daughter was trying to get money back after machine with toy didn’t work and the manager refused and yelled at my kid. Never coming back again

This particular store I have found to be the cleanest store of the Dollar Tree chain that I have ever visited. It is a 10 on cleanliness as well as organization and employees are ver helpful and friendly. This will be my Dollar Tree store from now on.I never do surveys or just go on line to make known what I think so that should tell you how much I was impressed with this store.

Various items for $1.25 and higher. Some items are supposed to be going back to $1.Some items are there all the time. Others, not as much.

The past couple of times I have gone into the store all the shelves needed to be straightened up and the main items I went for were out of stock each time. Also I purchased a couple of the Jolly Rancher popsicles for my younger son and when I opened the first pop it looked as if it had been completely melted and refrozen. I checked the others but they were all the same way. Not very safe or professional to be selling things with the potential for causing serious illness in someone possibly a child.

Wow! Just came in today and they couldn't be any ruder! Cashier forgot to give me a bag so I went back in. She yanked the bag out of my hand as if she didn't believe me. Then realized she didn't give it to me. She tossed it on the counter and walked away. I will go to Gun Barrel where they are always friendly. I have never been treated like that!

I love the dollar tree I feel like I'm not getting ripped off but this dollar tree really isn't that great I live in corsicana and every time I go to Athens I stop in but this dollar tree is in really bad shape the shelves are not stocked properly it's hot in there I like to go in to dollar tree just to see what they have new it seems this dollar tree dosent get a bunch of new items and I've noticed they have less merchandise then most of the dollar trees I go into staff was a friendly lady who greats you at the front door a+ can't say much more about this store it's just not up to par

I am not from the Athens area and walked into the store and could not believe my eyes. One employee in the whole place and the store looked like Armageddon. I do not recommend this store to anyone

Change :The absolute worst Dollar Tree,in the US,I drive all over the country, Dollar trees are my favorite, I actually ask them if they were closing down,it's that poorly stocked,It should be closed down and restocked, new management as well!!!!!
