We took our 9 month German Shepherd to be trained. We found out that he was too nervous for the training and boarding package. Family Dog K9 customized the package to fit our particular circumstances. Our work schedule only allow 1 day a week for us to go to their facility to train our dog. We agreed on Saturdays. When things came up and the time we originally decided on needed to be adjusted, Josuea and Gina accommodated us. If there was a cancelation earlier that day, they would ask if we wanted to train at the earlier time. When we first met with Family Dog K9, our dog was potty trained, trained to sit, walk on a leash and kennel trained. Our main issue was his aggression towards other dogs and people on bicycles while on walks. He pulled and would go towards the dogs/bikes as soon as he saw them. It was an accident waiting to happen, which would have ended very badly for him and our family. Our training lasted 5 months and could have gone longer if he needed more time. By the end of the training, he was a different dog when we encountered other dogs and bike riders. People even comment on how well behaved our dog is. He's still a nervous dog, but Josuea and Gina have taught us how to minimize situations that make him nervous. Having Family Dog K9 train our dog was the best decision we made. We now enjoy our dog even more and will continue to use the tools Family Dog K9 taught us. We will recommend Family Dog K9 to anyone looking to have their 4 legged family member trained. Love this family. My dog was a 🐶 puppy when trained here. It was amazing to see the difference in our dog. I was sent videos of progress which helped to see what he had learned. Also went to get my training in on how to be the Alpha 🤣I continue to use their services for boarding when I go out of town. Love you guys! 😍 Now I wish they could train my cats 🐈 ugh..lol

This family business is amazing!!! The trainers and owners are so friendly and made us feel very comfortable in leaving our pup in their hands. The training was highly effective and our boy is doing outstanding! Not to mention, they offer boarding which was a huge relief for us when leaving him behind. We have always had labs for pets in our house hold. We saw for the first time Dutch Shepard and fell in love with him. We purchased him from Family Dog K9 and trained him there. We found Family Dog K-9 by word of mouth. We contacted Family Dog K9 and were invited to bring our dog Honey out for them to meet her.We met Gina and her husband, at their home and facility. They described the training Honey would receive and answered our questions and concerns. Honey was 2 years old at the time we started at Family Dog K9.We are very, very happy with the training Honey has received. During her training we would receive short videos of her being trained. Gina would message us to keep us posted. If we had any questions or concerns, we could call, or message and we always received a prompt call back. Honey is very disciplined now, she listens, comes when called, and when needed, a firm "NO" will get her attention.Family Dog K9 has made a big difference in our home life with Honey.

my dog is scaared of sticks now ! The Cuban guy and the puerto rican woman used to beat my dog up with a stick and now my dog doesn't play Fetch with me i do not recommend working with this people!!
