After I left school, I walked to Walgreens to buy an Almond Joy. The man in the register wouldn’t let me in because they don’t allow students from my school inside. I don’t know if they recently changed their rules or something, but they would normally allow students during lunch time or dismissal. Which is at 3PM. Anyway, I’m pretty upset that they denied me my Almond Joy so I just felt like writing this review out of frustration. I want my Almond Joy, Walgreens!

I used to love this store, but for the last year, this store's entry and parking lot is always crowded in the afternoon by children from Lamar HS waiting on parents to pick them up, and police cant even help. Two police cars in the parking lot, and the kids are still hanging out, loitering and blocking the door to enter and/or exit. Parents are parked in fire lanes and also in the parking lot, taking up spaces. I have even called the school before to ask for help. If you can't control these kids as teenagers, what will they become as adults!?

Walgreens pharmacy really needs to address their staffing shortage, if they even consider it a shortage. The pharmacy is slammed. Scripts are always delayed due to backlogs. This is not the fault of the existing pharmacy staff, they’re working as fast as they can. Management and corporate need to pay attention.

Do not use this pharmacy will close for anything at the stadium! Staff is nice. But Walgreens cares more about making money from parking then helping its patients get their medication when needed.

The service at this pharmacy is terrible. Earlier this morning I was told that my prescription would be ready for pick up early in the afternoon. 6pm rolled around and I still hadn't received a notification that my prescription had been filled so I called them to check on the status. I sat on hold for a while with someone (who clearly had a bad attitude) answering the phone every 10 minutes to tell me to keep holding. After almost an hour on hold, she picked up the phone and hung up on me. I decided to drive to the store expecting to see busy pharmacy. Nope. There was only one car in the drive through and no customers inside. The two pharmacists were working hard filling prescriptions but the lady working the pharmacy register and answering the phone acted like she didn't have a care in the world and was moving slow as a snail. She also felt the need to remind me several times that they close at 8pm, as if I was somehow inconveniencing her by showing up at 7pm. Do yourself a favor and use the Kroger pharmacy across the street instead.

Worst pharmacy ever. They will never let you know when they don’t have your medicine in stock. And when you call to find out where your medicine is, they tell you they never have it in stock and it’s going to be a 24-48 wait for their truck to come.

My experience at the Walgreens was not the best. I’ve noticed that last few times I’ve gone to shop the employees have given me dirty looks or have glanced at me in very bad tones, this hasn’t just happened to me I noticed this also happened to a couple other people ,the employees seem anger at the customers and just seem to have so much hate behind their words and yell “if you’re not buying anything leave!” And when ever I purchase items from the store they always deny to give me a bag for my items saying it’s not allowed.

This is the second time that I have come to this particular Walgreens and they have closed before 10p. This is the only Walgreens this happens. They were the only one that had what I needed in stock.Full transparency, it was close to 10p, like 956p. An associate was walking out to get a basket as I headed to the door. She says "we're closed". I asked what time they closed and she said 10p. I looked at my watch and said, well it's not 10p yet, have you already closed out the registers and she said yes, which I replied then you all closed early and returned to my car.

My first time printing photo's..and I had no idea what I was doing! The do-it yourself machines were down so Daniella assisted me personally. She was so patient and kind with me! Her Customer service skills were 100% on point! She developed the pictures for me instantly. We need more people like her in the world. God bless.P.S. give that girl a raise!!

Never had a problem with this Walgreens! Staff always friendly, pharmacy always quick. And yes, this is NOT a 24 hour Walgreens. If I go to a different one, or for that matter, any other pharmacy/drugstore, I ALWAYS check to see what the hours are. Duh...

Not too shabby is the Walgreens by Lamar High School, but the place is not the safest due to its proximity. I would recommend going before or after 8 AM-4 PM to avoid the swarm of students. The staff is fairly welcoming, but sometimes proximity plays the biggest role, and that is the case for this situation.

I (and my family) have used the Lamar @ Davis location for three years and have been pleased with the service and selection. I primarily use this store for OTC medications, vitamins, prescriptions, etc., more than photos, toys, or other items that are available more competitively from other sources.The staff have always been pleasant and accommodating. Overall, a very good experience and what I would expect from a quality drug store.

This is the worst pharmacy I have visited. I have quit using them because I never know if my prescription will be there. When a prescription is re-validated with the doctor it often changes to the wrong prescription, the doctors says they submitted the correct prescription and the pharmacy says they didn't. The rub is that the pharmacy says they will call the doctor and straighten it out but they never do. Some of the employees just don't seem to care. Not a good thing when you are dealing with medications.

This store is located perfectly...Walgreens is so much better than CVS...The pharmacy is pretty good although pharmacy has had a hiccup for several days and extremely slow...Walgreens needs to put a timer out for how long it takes to service customers...Not sure what the problem is but it certainly needs work....A person could grow old waiting on pharmacy...

I love this Walgreens. The Pharmacy is A+. The Pharmacist and Techs are friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help, even when they're busy, busy, busy. I highly recommend this Walgreens Pharmacy for all of your family's needs.

People that work here are not knowledgeable. Hire people of age that know how to help customers are train your employees on your stuff you sale! The past two times I've come in for help your young employees were too busy chit chatting with each other and didn't want to work! I'll not be coming back!! And when I ask a question and need help I don't expect a "I don't know" answer or too lazy to even go look!! Never here again!!

The staff is friendly, especially this young lady with long hair, but it is way too damn hot in the store to function. I wanted to get out as soon as possible. I don't know why the manager doesn't just turn on the ac.

The cashier is garbage. My card was slightly bent. She stated there was no way to key it any. Find that hard to believe. I stated let me run and grab my other card. I went to my car for no more than 5 seconds to grab my other bank card. She deleted my sell. This Walgreens will never get my money again.

I am getting sick of Walgreens, with gas prices so high why would you send me to another store for a medicine and when I get there they are out of stock as well. But once I leave they call me and tell me my order is ready such BS.

I've been using their western union for a while now and please let the cashier know that he needs to do his work right. He marked off the right numbers with a marker n wrote down wrongs numbers n gave it us😠😠 I don't know his name but his Operator ID is 236😠
