i love this store!!! the associates are the kindest people!!! If you have a bigger house to feed, this store will NOT have you crying at checkout! my household is 6 & I’ve heavily stocked up on items from here & I’ve never come close to $200 (maybe $150 at max) & i had a cart full!!! check exp dates & just get what’s best for you & your family. this economy is horrible rn, so financially this place is a life saver for my 6 person household!!

Went there with my wife, not really knowing what to expect. Went in through the left side and saw lots of boxes of paper cups, Styrofoam cos, to go containers and other simular items and thought that was cool. My wife went to go look at the meat and noticed the streaks were frozen but expiration dates as far back as 2022. Dairy products a week past experience. Everything on the shelves past expiration, although most of it can still be good even though expired. They did have lots of fresh fruit and veggies for good prices. I did get a 30pk of mini Dr Peppers for $8. Lastly cashiers are extremely rude. While shopping, we could hear one of the cashiers arguing with a customer and caused that customer to cry. I bought my soda with EBT, and when they asked about the box of straws that was in my cart, I told them my wife went to go put them back and when the bagger saw my EBT card she said "oh that's why". First of all I have cash in my pocket and in my bank account. I just didn't feel the need to buy straws at that moment. Not a good first impression. More than likely not going back, unless I need more Dr pepper. 🤣

First, if you're expecting a nice, fancy grocery store this ain't it! But, they are actually cleaner than the former Minyards store they now occupy. Second, this is a salvage grocery store that has unbelievable prices and stock. This store will save you a ton of cash if you go in with an open mind. The staff is fantastic. Very friendly bunch. Fantastic stock. Fantastic selection. I just started driving 20 miles to shop here a few months ago but I do and will drive here a couple of times per month.Still the best bang for your buck, especially in today's economy.

In June 2020, Town Talk Foods opened a store in Arlington. Prices are low. They sell items that are past their normal expiry date, but remain good. You might think that buying vegetables might be tricky. But my wife and I bought some excellent baby eggplants for a rock bottom price. Boy, they were delicious! They have a lot of candy and snacks. Don’t expect them to be like ones just off the delivery van. I bought a bag of Starbucks “Komodo” coffee that I’m aching to try. The bags look well-sealed. They have a large variety of frozen food. We bought some fish sticks. They were crispy and delicious. Beyond the food, the staff were polite and friendly. Most of them were older with older values which appear to have disappeared. The music in the background was from the sixties. Baby boomers would enjoy it. Not everything of our purchases was a hit. But it was fun discovering bargains. We will be back.

I really enjoyed this place every time I come. My only wish is that they would have more fresh fruit and vegetables but for the times that I go and the days that I go, it has been fair. But I would love to see those ginger shots back in the stores

Great price, some close date, but who cares. A few weeks ago I got a bottle of Barenger red aged in bourbon barels for $3.99 week. I went back for a case, and got 10% off!!

I had a rude cashier. If y’all don’t want us to ask the price on the products then please have a screen so we can see the amount we are being charged. That being said, this is my second and last time going. Better off going to Winco

A newbie to town talk, but a fan! Knowing a discount/salvage store I was prepared for many imperfections. Pleasantly surprised at the organization, staff friendliness, and some really great deals on dry goods, frozen foods, drinks (alcoholic and non) and snacks. Perhaps, someone who doesn't mind exp dates would find more. Definitely heading back.

So much stuff to choose from! Great deals but be careful of expiration dates. The frozen department was the best plenty of meat products in things like boxes of Whatabuger patties, pkg of fajitas with veggies. Wine, plenty of amazing snacks

This is not your normal super market!! Now if you are ready to get food for a great deal than you need to head over and check it out. They also have some unique finds. I was so excited to pick up some cornichons and Pearl cocktail onions for$1.99 a jar. Go check them out!!

The store is a discounted store with good prices only if you are careful enough to buy what you are looking for and pay closed attention to the expiration date on their items wich mostly are expired, about to expire, damage, bruise... I have a sensitive stomach so I purchased very few things, non expired and delicious...On the bright side, they carry a great selection of organic, non gmo items which is great to find for a discount price since normally they are expensive.I most say, they have the friendliest staff ever. Everyone smiles at you, yes you can tell through the mask😁, they ask you if you are ok in a respectful way, they can give you prices for items, will direct you if you are lost... With best team attitude in town! They seem like they love their job!!

This location is new and has lots of space. Be careful and check the "Best By" or Expiration dates, before purchasing. Also it pays to know prices of goods you usually purchase elsewhere. Some items cost just as much as the mega stores. There is always something new popping up on the shelves, that I have never seen before. Its like a new flavor treasure hunt for my taste buds. Great place for people needing snacks.

I remember going to Town Talk years ago in Fort Worth. It was crammed full of products and super cheap. So I decided to try the store in Arlington for some food deals. The store is laid out very well. It is organized and there is plenty of room down the aisles. The employees were friendly and the store felt safe.Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the food items offered. The prices were not much cheaper than Walmart. Almost all items were expired. I'm not against expired staples like rice, pasta, etc. But the produce was bad and some things shouldn't be eaten 2 years after the expiration date. There were some good deals on drinks like bottled sweet tea, but not on things I buy normally. Candy was priced well. However, for the price difference I'll just buy at my local grocery store. It wasn't worth the drive for me.

Great prices! Extremely nice and helpful employees. I got 1 small watermelon, 5 roma tomatoes, 6 cucumbers, 12 limes, 2 lbs of lemons, 6 white peaches, 3 plums, 1 bag of grapes, 4 huge packages of raspberries, 2 lbs of strawberries, 1 6oz pack of blackberries, 2 big packs of blueberries, and a bag of jalapenos all for $21.57! The only thing I'd say is that the people bagging could be more aware of things getting squished in the bags. Not putting heavy items on top of tomatoes, for example. Also, I'd love to be able to see the prices as I'm checking out to make sure it's what I thought when I picked it up. Either way, this store is amazing and such a blessing!

Great prices! selection of products is random, but usually high quality, hard to find products. Watch for expiration dates, but most products usually still good even if expired.

Was disappointed in this store. Thought it would be like our store in AZ called American Discount, but it's NOT! The items are old and the store is not clean. There are better prices at Winco, and it's new products. Very disappointed 😞

The deals are good, but I’d rather go somewhere where the management treats their staff with respect. I’ve worked in the car industry, leasing industry, I’ve been a manager of a Concierge service, and never have I or any of my past managers been as condescending and rude to their employees as I have seen the management of this GROCERY STORE be. I’ll just go right back to Tom Thumb and pay double price to support good management.

They just “seem” to be sketchy in pricing or there is a breakdown in communication from the time you deposit your item in your cart and then get it to checkout. Some of the same items, same dates have multiple different prices, so you never know what your gonna be charged at the register. Its just iffy. I drive from Fort Worth. Very disappointed. Three different visits Ive been double charged each time and had to stand there till they checked a price that was clearly and boldly posted. This last time I was overcharged $25 by the same woman. Not going back. Also went back to by an item that was clearly marked 3.99. Went back two hours later and was charged 9.99 (same lady) Put the item back continued shopping and brought to another register and was charged 3.99. to much of a hassle.

Fun store. I like Town Talk and wanted to try the Arlington store out. It is further from my home, but thought it was worth visiting. I found some good deals. I found Natural Grocers jarred olives for like 1.99. They would be like 6 dollars at that store, so score!! However, their canned small jar of black olives from the same company was about the same as it is in store at Natural Grocers ... So it is hit or miss. The cashier was polite and talkative. He had great customer service skills and a great attitude. I think it was well lit too. I think this one is in a better neighborhood than the Ft. Worth one so the prices are slightly higher. I don't mind going to the hood, so I will probably visit this one less. However, I am happy with my purchases. Thanks for a great experience!
