Edit: I Would like to point out Mary Ann as being a prime example of customer service, thank you for being efficient not just with me but the other people at the self checkout keep it up +⭐️As a former employee for Albertsons I have a tendency to shop at these store because I know the standards at which they should be kept at. But when you see that even management clearly doesn’t care how can you trust the meat department to be clean or the produce to be fresh. I understand the difficulties of hiring a good team as I had to do weekly interviews, but that’s why the main team is built on the best and your front end should be your top priority. But I guess a slapped together illegible receipt paper counts as proper notice that cash is not working and being confronted by a teen with attitude as to why I didn’t read the sign is how they treat customers. So be sure to read all the trash otherwise a teen will acost you

I shop at this location often and from time to time I would rent a shampooer. Recently I was having trouble completing an online order until I went into the store. Josh was hands on and went above and beyond with assisting in the order being processed and complete within a timely manner. The staff here has always been amazing!

Always a fantastic experience at Tom Thumb on Fielder and W Randol Mill. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is well-organized. The fresh produce section is impressive, and they have a wide variety of products. Overall, a great place for a smooth and enjoyable shopping trip.

I have no idea who’s been cutting the produce lately but the past couple weeks I’ve been coming to purchase already cut up fruit and they have been such horrible quality I have to end up throwing them away, tastes like soapy water and will spoil in a day or two. I used to love coming here specifically for that, ima have to start going elsewhere from now on, fruit is pretty pricey for it to have bad quality. 😐

My fist experience was delightful. Every employee was friendly. Clean, well stocked and organized. Parking is plentiful. Morning they had no check out clerks all self check out.

If I'm at the butcher waiting for 15 minutes, and my turn comes, and I ask for 3 pounds of a meat cut a certain way, is it alright to brush me aside and tell me it'll be another 15 minutes before he could do that for me? I just left. I'm not spending the better part of an hour just standing around waiting

I live within walking distance of this store, so I frequent it, for convenience sake. Most times, I wish it was just about any other chain, and do the bulk of my shopping at other stores. I am giving it two stars because 1. The staff is always very nice. 2. They have gotten better in the last year or so about mis-priced items.It is not clean. A recent example of this about made me hork my lunch up right in front of the dairy case. See photo, in which it nearly looks as if someone already vomited, and they just let it grow some mold, instead of cleaning.The produce is often sad. Dehydrated, spoilage…just generally not fresh, and more expensive than other stores. I have been in other Tom Thumb stores, and their produce, while still expensive, looked better. Is this store getting the stuff the other ones don’t want?About half the time, they are out of the sale items I go for, and they are not consistent in stocking items I like.In addition, there have been many times I will look for a specify item, and they will have multiple odd versions of it (low fat, vegan, different flavors…), but not the basic, plain version. They have a wide variety of products, but good luck if you just want the standard one.They have issues with keeping frozen items frozen, apparently. I stopped buying ice cream there, all together, because most of the time the texture revealed it had been thawed at least partially and refrozen.

Unfortunately I had a really bad experience at this location.. I shop here weekly it’s my go to store and for the past few years I order family birthday cakes there. I’ve always been very satisfied not with just the cakes but the customer service until yesterday. The cake decorator Megan was extremely rude and did not decorate the cake as I requested and was VERY mean about it. She yelled and refused to apologize for her unsatisfactory work. The order form was clearly ignored. I was called by Megan the day of the birthday party my order had concerns. I understand that due to the copyright policy I couldn’t get a picture scanned, however she also took it upon herself to ignore my requested color of icing! I went later that day and the cake was all wrong. I called her from the number she called on earlier that morning to ask her why she didn’t do the cake as requested and she began to yell and was totally flat out mean. Had no care that she ruined my grandsons birthday cake. I still took the cake, his birthday party was yesterday and really what choice did I have?? And such last minute… I’m extremely disappointed and I always shop there and have never had a problem there before. If you get a cake there and it’s for a special occasion, do not allow this woman, Megan do the cake. She absolutely has no customer service and her skills lack in a huge way. I was very upset. I do appreciate the store associate for helping me repair the cake quickly. She was very nice and sympathetic to my situation. I wish I could remember her name. Thank you, you were very kind.

Some products don't have a price.Employees are always nice.However, the people who work at the bakery need to put not only a price tag but also the flavors on all cakes. I came here and asked what flavor the cake was, and they told me that they do not know.. lol, because it didn't have any tag on it.

Nice grocery store with all the stuff you expect... Produce, household items, etc. I didn't interact with any employees as I got what I needed in a couple of aisles and did the self-checkout. Clean place.

I don’t recommend going to this store for seafood or meat. I went to this location twice and both times I purchased bad meat. I had some imitation crab meat from the seafood section the first time. I started to open it at home and immediately smelled the bad odor because it was bad seafood. Yesterday I brought some turkey beef for dinner. As soon as I opened the packet at home it smelled up my entire kitchen. I went to the manager about it and said this is the second time it happened and she just gave me a refund and did not say anything else. They do not check their meat and I would advise anyone not to visit this location for food. It’s not safe.

Gwendolyn was such a blessing to me and my pregnant wife. I had a weird request for her and asked her to put frosting on some cookies in the cookie section. To be clear these were cookies that were already made, put into a plastic case and are a ways away from the premium bakery options. I don’t think anyone makes these kind of requests.Without hesitation and with a smile she made a brand new batch of frosting and did it. My pregnant wife and I are very thankful. This is the kind of service with a smile that we need more in the USA.God bless you all and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Sometimes they have some pretty nice niche products like fully peanut butter Reese's cups. Also, their restrooms have a foot door handle which is very sanitary and modern. I enjoy the variety of shops that surrounds this tom thumb location. I've never really had a bad experience here. Their sales and multiple purchase discounts are nice as well.

Love their produce section. They have really good French bread. The employees there are always friendly and helpful. People at the meat counter always have info to share about how to make certain meats, fish, etc. Always clean.

Poor customer service. Manager Michelle needs training or fix computers. Sales never come up correctly. Wasted my lunch hr shopping for the sale items and they do not come up correctly. Manager would not accommodate me in correct the prices. Said that she had to cancel my transaction and start over . I informed her I was short on time so I didn't have time for that She acted very unconcerned and unapologetic . So I had to leave all of the items there after wasting my time in the store.

The young man that worked tonight was so respectful and very helpful to everyone that was in the self checks outs. How amazing he was. . I just moved to the area and this was my first visit here. Clean n fresh produce. Helpful staff on every other aisle. Awesome staff and very clean store.

I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Kristin B. in this store's Bakery Dept! My usual Tom Thumb's bakery had no berry tart available (which they generally do) due to a mad rush of business this past Sunday. With fingers crossed I went to this larger Tom Thumb. Kristin and an associate greeted me at the bakery counter, but they had no berry tart ready either. I told her I was hoping for one for my father's 95th birthday the next day. She asked "Can you give me 10 minutes?" Literally, in 10 minutes she presented the most spectacular fresh fruit tart, complete with a Happy Birthday attachment on top, that I've ever seen. She even used pineapple, mandarin orange slices and mint leaves for decoration. Amazing! And it was delicious. THANK YOU!

Normally I don't shop here, but I did today as it was was easiest for me to get to due to icy conditions. I didn't notice the date on these crackers until I got home. They smelled horrible! It reminded me why I stopped shopping here years ago

All the employees are friendly let me say that. However there were many products that were out of stock or had just a couple days left on the expiration. This could be out of their control so I'm not sure who blamed that on. I found the prices to be exorbent. Have been there a couple times the last month, because I'm sick of the Walmart on eastchase. That's a whole different story. Tom you can do better on your pricing and stock more items a different varieties. For instance your bagels had no everything bagel and that's a staple at most stores. You have a smaller selection such as bread etc. However your pricing is still higher than I really want to pay for your products. Store was clean and neat.

Very nice clean grocery store. I loved the pre prep produce. I shopped on a Sunday visiting the meat department fresh produce and got a few other items . The store was pretty busy but the staff were friendly visible and ready to help. The lines at check out were long but moved fast. We also stop by the Starbucks inside the store . There was one young man working by himself at the time. He was very friendly and fast with making our Frappuccino’s. We will be shopping here again.

They have EXPIRED products on shelfs. This is also not the first time I encountered this at this location. I ate a chobani yogurt and realized it was expired last week...

I shop here a lot because it is near the gym that I go to, but recently, I have seen a lot of products in the fresh, bakery, and deli departments that are spoiled, expired, contaminated, and still left on the shelf. I felt sick for the whole week at the beginning of this month because I ate a cake I bought from this place; I had diarrhea the entire time. I don't know if anybody else had the same experience, but it wasn't fun. I tried to raise my concerns to people at the front desk, but no one paid attention to what I said. I feel invisible.
