I was nervous to board my 13 year old lab and 8 year old terrier since they were used to another resort. The staff took such good care of them and I knew they were in good hands. I love the webcams and ability to text with questions. Very grateful to have them close by!

Harper and Clark love their time spent at Royal Pet Resort! They are always so excited when I drop them off at daycare/boarding and just the right amount of tired when I pick them up. As a bit of a helicopter dogmom, I appreciate the yard and suite cameras that allow me to check in on them during their stays. The staff is great and they all truly seem to care about each and every pup. RPR gets 2 paws up from both Harper and Clark!

We have avoided doing any traveling for two or three years because of the age and poor health of our dogs, with one dog in particular needing pretty constant supervision. Unfortunately I found myself needing emergency surgery in another city...the only place that had the surgeons skilled enough to take care of me. We really needed to find a boarding situation for our dogs that offered 24/7 care to ensure that they didn't have any issues overnight. Our vet recommended this place, and we felt lucky enough to be able to get in on very short notice.Because I was a long way away from home and in the hospital, I found the cameras to be very helpful to my anxiety levels and my recovery...at least I didn't have to worry about my dogs! Until the third night they were there...at 6:00 in the evening, they separated our dogs for feeding. I watched for a few minutes, then decided to check back in an hour to see how they were. I checked at 7:00...Nikki had still not been returned to the kennel. Same thing at 8:00...and 9:00...and 10:00...and 11:00...and midnight. Nikki had been "missing" for 6 hours, and I had no one to contact to find out where my dog was. My other dog Buddy, the very old dog with health and cognition issues, was beyond stressed...he had been left alone without his partner and was pacing, howling, barking...I never did see anyone check on him and I was watching the cameras constantly from my hospital bed as the night wore on.Finally at midnight, Nikki was returned to the kennel with Buddy. I was extremely angry and called to leave a message, since there was no way to contact anyone at that time of night. When we picked up our dogs the next day, there was an apology but the reason we were given for the error was that "the staff was new and just forgot about Nikki." That is completely inexcusable. If the staff is new, they either need better training, better supervision, or they need to be partnered with someone who ISN'T new. And having cameras available so you can watch your dogs is pointless if there is no way to communicate a problem in real time.I hesitated to write this review because by all accounts this is a fine place and dogs are treated well, but if something had happened to Buddy or to Nikki, no one would have known about it for hours...clearly no one had any idea where Nikki was or that she was even missing. For six hours no one realized that there were supposed to be two dogs in that kennel. And no one bothered to find out why the one dog remaining was so stressed and anxious. And without getting overly dramatic, my own anxiety as I lay in a hospital bed thousands of miles away and unable to do anything to rectify the situation caused unimaginable worry and stress...when I was supposed to be recovering and worry-free. And we were dumbfounded by the cavalier attitude expressed when we asked for an explanation..."sorry, the staff was new, an email was sent out this morning telling everyone not to do that again." Seriously? Obviously we will never go back...there is no way I could trust them with my dogs again...and I would suggest that anyone planning to use them ask A LOT of questions about what happens if something goes wrong.

Great resort!! I've been using them for over a year now and Zoe loves it there and so do I!! They are very professional, caring, dependable and friendly. I wouldn't take Zoe anywhere else. I recommend Royal Pet Resort over the rest!! 🧡

I have never had an issue in the year I’ve been getting my dog groomed here. I can’t believe I found a place that makes me feel so comfortable taking my dog to. Everyone is so friendly and you can tell they love animals unlike PetSmart. I highly recommend the royal pet resort and spa!

Great job on my now 12 year old Standard Poodle Aspen. The spa & Mack - they a great groomer team. Part of Aspens grooming since 2021. They continue to be my best option now into 2024. Professional, courteous, always remembers who my dog is and provides exceptional service. And Aspen seems to love the pampered care. Thanks to Mack and the support staff there.

The staff were excellent. They were very patient with Mando and I felt like they were really looking out for him and letting him have fun. I got back a very tired and happy dog which helps out a lot. He’s definitely looking forward to going back.

This place was highly recommend, after doing a tour of the facility we felt comfortable moving forward with boarding our beloved Bea at this location. This was Bea’s 1st boarding experience, she was a little nervous at first but after a couple of days she adjusted well, specially during daycare where she made lots of friends. They also provide live camera access! The entire team at The Royal Pet Resort and Spa was outstanding, we’ll definitely be comfortable using them again.

We scheduled a walk thru tour about 4 months before our anticipated dates and was thoroughly impressed with the facility, the staffs prep for activities and dogs, and answers to questions regarding a variety of concerns.We dropped off our blue nose staffy for a 13 day stay btwn the Christmas and/thru New Years holidays. I opted for 2 nail trims as add-ons at drop off and had no problems with them being added. I did get a text with some updates and asking about additional services. I responded with adding additional services as her stay was a little lengthy but my reply about the amount of what I wanted to add was not specific/ specified and some liberty was taken with the add-on services. With this minor exception, I will definitely be using them again and had no other issues with them.

I am so disgusted! I had been waiting for a couple weeks for an appointment with my puppy for a haircut - Monse said he was matted and could not do anything about it but shave him. I booked a same day appointment with Bow Tie Mobile Grooming in Plano, and they told me my puppy wasn’t matted - they got him clean and groomed better than Monse. If you want to work with knowledgeable people who don’t waste your time please go ELSEWHERE! I don’t like PetSmart but would rather go to them instead!

We boarded our 2 puppies there for 9 days, I was amazed of how caring they where. They went above and beyond my expectations. Stephanie the manager kept us informed daily. We had them in a Royal suite and could watch our puppies 24 hours a day. They played and loved them. I give them 500 STARS 🌟 and plus. I will use them again. We are first time dog owners and new puppy parents, and the experience we’ve had at Richter / Royal Pet Spa has been outstanding. Our new puppy is a pretty nervous guy, but they took such good care of him at his daycare evaluation. A manager came out to speak with me when I dropped him off, and gave me such comfort and assurance he was in good hands. By the end of the day he didn’t want to leave! The convenience of having the vet, boarding, daycare and grooming all together is amazing, and the customer service is always top notch. My husband and I have said 100 times over the past month we are so happy we landed at Richter / Royal. Thank you!

Although my dog looks good, the price was more than I was quoted. Additionally, I mentioned to the groomer that there was some matting that was the primary reason for us having her groomed. The difficult matting under the front legs was addressed, but I did a simple run of my fingers along the belly when I got home and there were two matted areas a little bigger than a nickel that should have been easily trimmed. I will now have to do it myself. Considering I was quoted $115 and it ended up being $155 with the nail trimming, I would have expected these two little areas to have been addressed.

We have an 8-year-old dog that has not had a lot of social interaction with other dogs, so I was a bit nervous to begin daycare. However, The Royal Pet Resort has absolutely exceeded my expectations!!! Our pup leaps out of the car with excitement when we arrive every morning. It is the best feeling in the world to drop him off every day and never have to wonder how it went... He is always so happy and exhausted from playtime upon pickup. Cannot say enough good things about this doggy daycare!!!

Our two year old Yorkie goes to the Royal for grooming and occasional boarding. Always a wonderful experience! Her groomer, Michelle, always does a fantastic job making her look pretty. Most of all, her love for our little one is evident every time she greets her for grooming drop off. Love this place!

We had the pleasure of taking our puppy here for a 4 night stay and had a pleasant experience. The checking in process was very smooth, as well as the picking up process. When we picked up our puppy and got him back home, he was very sluggish for almost 3 days. He would not sleep, and he was throwing up and was very timid. This is not the first time he has stayed at a pet resort. However, this is the first time he acted in such a manner after being picked up."Our Purpose Is Your Blessing"

This place will mistreat your dog if you complain about the way they handle you pet. I complained three time about the workers pulling my dog out of the group for barking. After the third time i complained, I was told they let my female dog get "mounted all day" by one of the workers who was also a supervisor. I never took my dog back. I reported this to the daycare director and Dr. Richter. I had just paid for a month membership and they would not refund my unused days. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. Be careful when using this place.

Was looking for a place to board my 4 dogs where someone was on premise 24 hours a day. The Royal Pet Resort offers tours, and I was very impressed with the facility, the cleanliness and the friendly staff. My furkids will be staying here from now on! My Goldendoodle has also been to daycare one time. From the pictures that I received, it appeared he was having a good time. He is scheduled to go back for daycare for a second time this week. Everyone is so friendly and made me feel so welcomed!

I love Royal Pet Resort and Spa but more importantly my dog, BB King, loves them more. When we pull up to the drive through, he immediately knows where he is. He is so excited to go to day care he almost jumps out of the car. What I really appreciate is they love him too. They're attentive, they call me if ever there's a problem and quick with necessary solutions. Every person who handles BB tells me how much they love him and I truly believe it. This is a great one stop shopping experience, day care, vet service and boarding. So glad I found them!!!
