I had a wonderful first visit to Salters! Everyone was super nice and kind. I got the most popular drink, the white rabbit. If you have a library card, you get some type of discount. Guess who has a library card!?! I do! So I had a discounted drink.Now about to drink, it was definitely tasty. Only critique I have is, it needed more of a coffee flavor. I felt there was just a hint of coffee taste. But all in all, I’d go back and try something else. Oh, and this place is pet friendly.😊

This place is so cozy! You’re instantly hit with the smell of coffee when you open the door. The drinks are made to perfection. Not too sweet and not bitter. I got the Nut cracker which consisted of espresso, toffee, and dark chocolate. It tastes just like you’re biting into a dark chocolate bar with an after taste of toffee. I would highly recommend stopping by.

Super cute place and the drinks were delicious. Nice little place to study or hangout with a friend or few. Right next to UTA if you’re a student and the decor is so fun! The worker, Rose is also super super sweet.

This place recently opened in Arlington and I had no idea! I absolutely loved the coffee shop. They had coffee bags decorated all over the interior and are taking Covid precautions. There is indoor and outdoor seating that I will take advantage of as the weather cools down.The coffee is AMAZING. I got the Wild West Latte which has chocolate, hazelnut, and espresso. I highly recommend it for those who like a sweet creamy drink with a caffeine kick!The service was also great and this appears to be owned be a sweet family. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to visit again!

Disappointing. I ordered 2 lbs. of their espresso blend with a requested roast level of medium. What I received was a mix of medium roasted and dark roasted beans. Blend is of at least two varieties and one variety was properly roasted while the other was over roasted (in some cases to the point of being burnt). It shows this is a "pre roast" blend of beans instead of each variety being roasted properly for it's type and then being blended after roasting. The result is extremely variable cups of espresso when variables are being controlled (grind size, grind amount, tamping pressure, etc.) with some being good and other being barely drinkable. Given communication on my order was terrible (only emailed when the order shipped which was just over two weeks from ordering), I'll refrain from ordering from Alter Bros. Coffee again.

Excellent coffee, and the decor of the store tells you that these guys are serious about coffee. They roast their coffee beans there in the store. I asked the 2 guys working there about their roasting equipment, and one guy showed me roasters and explained how they work. I also can really appreciate their enthusiasm for coffee. I ordered 2 red-eyes, and they were perfectly made. This will be a new favorite for me.

As per the barista's suggestion I got a hot cup of their Guatemala coffee.. he's right it was well balanced and delicious! I would have loved to see that wonderful branding on the cups. No family recipe cookies on hand, I'll have to come back to try them.Kinda weird he didn't have change for a $10. I had to pay with my card.

Love this like coffeeshop. It has a special place in my heart, because the first time I visited was the day my daughter was born. (We were running errands while trying to figure out if I was really in labor 🤣 had a baby about 5 hours later! ) anyways, the coffee is great and the atmosphere is nice and calm. I highly recommend :)

I went to Salter Bros & got their butterscotch cold brew. YUM! They roast all of their own coffee, and it’s such a quaint, trendy & fun spot right outside downtown Arlington. I don’t know if want to post this because I think this coffee shop is a hidden gem and selfishly want to keep it to myself, but I couldn’t help myself & I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

New locally owned coffee spot in Arlington near downtown. Came in during their soft opening. Ordered both a Brazilian pour and a mocha latte. Both have great flavors and a very nice finish. Walking distance from some fantastic food as well. Glad they're here.

I was really excited when Salter Brothers opened, as there is no place in Arlington I've found to get good, fresh roasted coffee. Plus I like to support local businesses, so this was a win-win for me. We are heavy coffee drinkers in my family and go through several pounds of beans a month. I've used Salter Brothers for years, and at first it was great. Put in an order, get an email a few days later that it's ready, then go pick it up. As time went on, I would not get the email notification. I would show up days later and it was ready and had been sitting there for days waiting for me to pick it up. Several times I showed up before work to either see if my order was ready or just to get a cup of coffee and they were closed when their hours said they would be open. The quality of their roasts has slipped, to the point one of the bags in my last order was supposed to be medium but it was a light, inconsistent roast that was completely unusable no matter what brew method I tried. It seems like now they are focused on roasting coffee in bulk for other local businesses, which is great, as it means they are successful. As an individual though who does not need it roasted in bulk, I feel like it's time for me to move on. Back to online for me.

The best coffee you'll find in Arlington! The taste is amazing, but I only wish they made their iced lattes a different way. They put the flavor syrup on the bottom and then don't stir it at all, so the syrup settles instead of mixing in with the drink. I've never seen any other place serve a latte like this, and every barista here does it this way. I legit would go here every single day if they would just give it a quick stir so I don't have to fiddle with it in the car on the go. Otherwise this place is top notch! Owners are very friendly too. Give it a try!

Ordered and paid for an iced chai with espresso. While waiting for my drink, the barista told me they were out of chai syrup, so they were going to make it with another flavor. I was hesitant but said okay since I had already paid. Unfortunately, the drink was not good at all.

Hard to find a place to get freshly roasted coffee, but they’ve got it.Bought an espresso machine recently and only had good results with freshly roasted beans. Could not make anything from the grocery store work, was glad this place was close by. Great to have a coffee shop that roasts too.I bought the regular “Arlington blend,” and it tastes pretty good.
