First off, the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable! Enjoyed speaking with them once I was ready to talk. Stopped by in search of tiger conch and Nassarius snails. Found supply of both, but more importantly I stopped by here to clear my head. Spent a few minutes just looking around and enjoying the beauty of each tank, and the selection of fish in each tank. Got to see the giant lionfish, got the puffer to shoot some water up, and got to see if the giant maroon clown in the back would still come after my hand when I put it on the glass. Got to inquire about some lagoon style tanks, and got some very helpful insight from the owner about how to set it up and prep it when I’m ready to order it. Looking forward to upgrading my current reef tank.Update: picked up a few MTS and a pincushion urchin. Right off the bat they cleared out like 1/4 of the hair algae in the tank, and they made my molly pick up the pace. Tank is looking much better already! Ocean Avenue is awesome!😎

It's okay. High end prices, service was lacking. We walked in the door and no one said a word to us. Tank set ups were ok, some needed attention... cleaning and such. To me, a bit pricey and I have had aquariums for over 30 yrs, so they are not new to me. After looking around we were headed out and still no one said a word to us, so we took our business elsewhere.

Great shop in Arlington for salt water / reef fish, invertabraes and corals. I get my salt and RO water here, they even help me roll the jugs of water out and load it up. They are happy to test your water and discuss issues might be having . They do not have as big of a selection of items for your aquarium like lights and pumps. Hours are great, guys are helpful and friendly.[ If this review was helpful, please give it a THUMBS UP!!! ]

Love coming here on any day but mostly Fridays the owner and all the workers are great. We only get our water from here as we never have any problems. The coral is nice but I mostly live the fish and if they don't have it, they will custom order it for you. They take pride is the coral and fish they have. We have been coming to them for a very long time. We stopped for about 2 years when are tank crashed. After we started back up 2 years later we tried other stores but found we didn't like any of them and found our sells back here. I can't see us really going anywhere else ya the fish are a bit more but they stand behind them and they are just great guys. If I could I would post pictures of all my fish I have gotten from them and our eel.

I'm a hazmat responder for UPS. We had a box of exotic fish without a label and they were destined to die. This guy took them off my hands for me and was super nice!! The shop is dark and quiet and very clean I was happy they were in good experienced hands!

What an incredible store. They had so many unique frags to choose from. The gentleman that helped us was very knowledgeable and friendly. Ended up leaving with some beautiful frags. We will definitely be back!!!

Extremely overpriced…. After just getting into the hobby and cycling my tank properly I went in for a larger fish to add to my tank. Got a powder blue tang and a clown for almost 300 dollars. I happened to see their computer screen and where they source from and they were marking up fish nearly 150% also asked about a few corals which were 100 bucks for something the size of a dime tiny little frags that weren’t anything special. Will never shop here again.

While they had a decent selection not 1 person there even acknowledged that I was in the store. I'll never spend a penny with someone who won't even speak. It was pretty bad, I was there to spend some serious money but not 1 word to me. Not a hi, not a can I help you, not 1 word. So I took my business elsewhere and I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again.

Great place to locate hard to find fish salt or fresh. We bought 3 blood parrots and they are healthy and happy. They staff is so knowledgeable and are willing to help out with your aquarium needs.Will come back when I need at least one more blood parrot.

Advertises freshwater tropical fish on website as well as on the door of the business. Drove 30 minutes to only be told they only deal in saltwater fish. Yet alone the guy at counter was very rude. Did not speak nor lift his head from his phone when spoken to. If zero stars was an option that would be it. And the saltwater selection is very minimal as well. Horrible place.

Never been failed by these owners. A classy organized store front with LOTS of corals. And they don't push sales, which is good thing in this hobby!And if you're attending any local coral swap, they'll probably be there with smiles and "refreshments"!

Yall pray for these guys. Nothing wrong with them. They just high as kites when i walked in. No freshwater fish. Employees take no interest in selling fish so im not sure what they're selling to afford to stay open.

This store has done a lot for the community including cook outs and discounts. Sometimes they may not be open due to emergency so call ahead. Owner is really nice and cool guy, at the end of the day they sell you what you need which is nice compared to other places trying to sell you something for profit even if you dont need it.

So I waited for an hour outside because the sign said that they were on a lunch break until 4:30.They didn’t open the store back up until 5:40.Signs outside and the website still say they sell freshwater and salt water. Only had saltwater. So I waited an hour for nothing. Also didn’t make the best impression when he opened the door and the entire shop wreaked of weed.So inclusion I waited over an hour for some dude to stop smoking a blunt to look at fish I don’t even need because they didn’t want to update their signs or website.10/10 won’t be recommending to anyone.

Kind of hit-or-miss. A couple helpful employees, but the manager usually gives me the impression that I’m just a distraction from his phone. Don’t expect them to answer the phone, and business hours posted seem to be more of a suggestion.

These guys have some of the best corals around and they are always willing to work with you on the price. Sometimes it is difficult to get someone to help you because there is usually only one guy working, but they are always really nice.

Don't waste your time if you are looking for freshwater fish or for that matter any lighting, accessories. They can order it for you however why when you can do it yourself. I was also looking for someone to talk to about my freshwater tank and was told they are not passionate about them that is why they don't stock them anymore. Also the shop was a mess and one tank did not even have any light on it. They say their passionate however I got a different vibe. Waste your time if you want to see for yourself.

Great staff, Danny and Jimmy are always there to help and answer any questions. If you're new to the hobby, this place is worth checking out as they have tons of beginner friendly fish and corals.

Great selection and healthy fish. I was disappointed in the help I received as employee wasn't willing to work with me and I would have ended up spending more money. He was rude and laughed in my face. I ended up buying nothing.

This is the absolute best place to get corals and my favorite store overall the staff are amazingly knowledgeable and very very helpful at giving recommendations on what to get based on your level of Reef keeping and what you currently have in your tanks. Huge selection of different corals at good prices and they have Facebook auctions all the time for different corals. I would highly recommend going here to purchase locally if you have a saltwater tank or a fresh water tank and want new corals or fish!
