3 yr old son grabbed a candy and I told him to put it back and the lady at the counter said he can put it back where he got it. .... um no thanks. Normally we do that, but since she it made a point to say that to a 3 year old? No thanks. They even asked my 12 year old if "she wanted to buy the pen she was holding in her hand." And asked if she was going to use cash or card. It was unnecessary and gave the vibe as if she was going to steal, even though she was with me and I wasn't done ringing my stuff up.

If the sale is not going on this place will do major damage to your budget. But when a sale is on it is everything you can imagine for a person that loves a lot of creativity in the beads that they use. I was making several for a fundraiser and was very pleased by the checkout staff who helped me find things.

I visited yo check out the services in here, they have a wide collections of raw material for crafting and art work. It also I spire you with new ideas. I do recommend this place for arfest and school students.The staff were kind and helpful, they explained for us and gave us some advice.

They didn't have exactly what I was looking for when I went, but that's not their fault. I was immediately greeted when walking in, so I asked where what I was looking for would be. The staff member knew where to send me, so a lot of time looking was saved. When I didn't see it, I asked another staff member if it might be somewhere else. She mentioned where she had seen one, and if it was gone, they were out. They were out. Which is fine! The staff was helpful and friendly :)

Your average Michaels not bad, clean, I came at a bad in between season so there was a lot of missing merchandise from the shelves. Didn't feel like I had a bunch of choices. Staff was friendly.

Great place to find stuff for crafts and art projects. There are materials in foam, paper, wood, and fabrics. They offer custom framing and seasonal decor. They also have school supplies and kids activities. Very friendly staff at this location.

Very beautiful store .. crafter's heaven! Thought I was going to really enjoy this place once I discovered it, being that I'm a crafter..I was happy about the possibility of bypassing Amazon.One visit has made me a faithful Amazon patron.The products are extremely overpriced. This place is best for crafts that you're doing for leisure...not to sell. Hard to make a profit when the supplies are so pricey. I was told they have good sales online, plus joining the Michael's Club saved me a few dollars on the total.UPDATE: That day I visited the store, I gave my email address to be notified about future deals. And yes, they do have really good sales you guys!!!!! So, crafters on a more humble budget like myself, no worries!!!! Join the club to get great discounts. The haul pictured below was valued at $300....I paid $127 for quality beads, charms, and semi precious stones. Sale day at Michael's for the win!!!

After a year of trying to contact Cricut about my defective machine that has made noises and ripped up my vinyl days after 260$ and no reply from Cricut to date. I was pleased with the staff who helped me find parts (deep cut blades and housing) for my new machine. This Michael's was clean and the staff was friendly.

They have one little riding cart. Their store arrangement is a little awkward but the clerks are quite willing to help find things. I found everything I needed.

I haven’t generally been impressed with their framing department. The map that I had framed cost me a good bit of money. It took a while, and when I finally picked it up, I could easily see that the framing was crooked. I had them do it again. The manager agreed that it needed to be reframed, it was very nice. But when I came and picked up the second time, no one was in framing. I was in something of a hurry, and they seemed to be short on employees in the store. So finally I called the store, while I was there, and asked how I could pick up my my piece. The woman who arrived at the framing department took a very curt demeanor with me - she didn’t come off as being the least bit interested in customer service. I’ll probably go somewhere else next time.

Incredibly frustrating experience at the store. I sought assistance for embroidery supplies, and despite the cashier's efforts to call the manager, Nick, for help, I was dismissed and directed to aisle 42, where I still couldn't locate the items I needed. The manager's lack of involvement left me feeling unsupported and undervalued as a customer.Clearly, there's a need for better training of the manager to improve her image in front of her staff and customers.This situation occurred October 24 at 5:22pm

I'm a big fan of craft stores. Michaels being my go-to store for anything from yarn - glitter to ornaments for my tree or even decor for a room I've redecorated and am looking for that missing piece to tie it all together. This store has grown on me despite the rude lady that works the front in the afternoons. Overall a great store and great customer service if you don't let grumpy ruin it for you.

I have to say, the Lincoln Square Michales' is one of my favorite. I love the cozy feel of the space. But, especially and how friendly the staff is. They really go out of their way to help and not just point you in the right direction but take you to the location. It makes the shopping experience so pleasant.
