Been going to this Dollar General for weeks now and never had any problems until today. The minute I walked in, the cashier is YELLING at me to put my bag up front. I get that the location isn't in the best and I'm sure they deal with occasional shoplifting but that was really RUDE. On top of that, I asked where do I even put my bag up front, and the cashier goes on the GROUND. Yeah, I'll put my bag with my wallet and personal items on the GROUND and up FRONT where anyone can take. I browsed really quickly then left. NEVER returning back again.

This is the best Dollar General store I’ve been to. Good management and the store is clean and well stocked. It has a great neighborhood feel for this area of southwest Arlington that I’ve grown up in. Angela and Amanda know me when I walk in and are always so kind. I go here because I always feel welcome and because there are great deals and a well stocked store.

From the moment I walked in no workers were any where to be found. I went to check out and still no one. I walked around looking for someone to help me with a item behind the register. I self checked myself out and left the store. Something told me to walk to the end of the building and there they all were. Standing by the side door looking across the street talking. When I told them customers were needing assistance, they gave attitude and still didn't go back inside. It's filty, very unprofessional. Never again will I go there.

Terrible customer service. He was very rude. I spoke to him and he never replied. He was scanning my items very aggressively. As if he didn't want to be there. I will never go to this dollar general again. Very rude and hardly any items stocked. Poor management!!

Dollar General is a store that delivers on what it offers to buy essentials for up to a week. But this chain of stores is not free from bad customer service, seriously the night service is probably the worst I have ever seen 🤢 the workers are people who seem to have problems at home or don't care in the slightest. . about serving customers. YOUR CUSTOMERS!!

Employee stealing!!I checked out my items and noticed the employee added on the charity donation. She rounded up to the nearest dollar to make it an even dollar amount purchase. I always donate because it’s usually just some change. However, ask me first!! Don’t just take from me without asking. There’s no telling how often she does this to meet her “quota”.I asked her why did she put it on there when she didn’t ask me. Her response “it was a mistake.” BUT you didn’t confess until I mentioned it.People watch your transactions. If she’s adding this there’s no telling what’s next!I went in July 15, 2020 9:00am-9:08am

To anyone, it may concern having Expired food and milk and fridges very unsanitized place very messy rude people except for Teenuh. No hospitality no good morning no hello no how you’re doing. No have a good day and then you wonder why people fall out of business. Start by checking you expired food then when you ask, why do you have expired milk? No one gets you an answer

Felt very rushed when coming to the store.The worker was smoking a cigarette at the front entrance, luckily I had a mask on but it was SO STRONG!im pretty sure there are guidelines on how many feet from the door you have to be! Very unacceptable!You close at 10pm, do not rush people because you're in a bad mood.

If I could leave no stars, I would. I did a mobile pick-up order, and not only did the cashier not have the order ready, but she also said they have to look at the telson to know if they have a mobile. They don’t check it because “they never get mobile orders.” A long, irritating story later, I still had to take time from my day to shop for the items I paid them to shop for! She still had to scan the items one by one, and I bagged them myself because she was too busy trying to fulfill a job she didn’t do. Overall, WORST DOLLAR GENERAL EVER! A 5-minute convenience turned into a 35-minute headache!

Kathy was just the sweetest of employees. My daughter, grandson and I were looking for a shelf and she was opening the door. We thought for us and started laughing but it was for a very elderly woman trying to go out with a basket. We told her that was sweet. She told us about the 50% off baskets and looked up a price for us. Our time was short as they did not have what we were looking for. After our purchase she went and opened the door for us as we exited! No one is ever paid what they are worth but I certainly hope she is and appreciated by her employers. Those like her are very hard to find!

Rude doesn't begin to describe the cashier and her co-worker. I went in 15 minutes before closing. I know, cutting it close.But as soon as I opened the door, the cashier snapped at me, "You have 2 minutes!"I was floored! I needed 1 item and I knew exactly where to look.When I got in line to pay, every customer who came in was greeted with "You got 1 minute!" Or "You got 2 minutes!" The 2 employees took turns snapping at every single, customer!Do they not understand that when you close in retail, you stay late?And if you run all of us off, the store can't afford to keep you both.

The whole time the cashier was checking my items she was talking on the phone. Had it on speaker so everyone could hear her conversation. Seriously!!!!! Terrible customer service. Why are they even allowed to have the phones why you are working. Customer can not even get help because employees are always on the personal phone.

Parking lot was full to overflow. Other and her daughter went to get food snacks etc no cart stood in line. They came out with nothing as both forgot card at home. It was not a good thing there was 2 of them. One thought they gave card back. A good hour and a half wasted. Only place we could find without a line to get in. So much for social distancing. I Did not go in.

I don't go this particular one very often because it's always cluttered and dirty, it was on my way 🏡, the line was so long, and when the young opened to the second register for cash only, he was didn't have any CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, a huge pet 🐱 peeve of mine!!!!! To work in retail with people, you have to know how to communicate with people. 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

So I went in today,the first thing I noticed was a heavyset black dude with sandy red hair that was working at the cash register. Me and another lady walked in he never greeted us and he was on his Bluetooth talking on the phone. When he walked up to check me out,he was still on his phone talking and when it was time to give me my receipt he snatched it out the machine and handed it to me like he had an attitude that I interrupted his conversation checking out. So I will never come here again. So unprofessional!

In all my 50 years of shopping at Dollar General. .I have never seen a store that looked this bad...you can't shop anywhere in this store it is a junk pile nothing is in the right place....I will not be shopping at this one...and you should see the way the people dress and the music they have playing... while working ... really people. .I thought this was a business. ...they really need a DM or corporate visit. ..

Although the employees there were very friendly,the layout and cleanliness of the store left alot to be desired. Product left in isles or just haphazardly strewn around left it looking less than desirable. A couple hours stocking and facing the store would help.

Worst costumer service ever. Making students wait outside yet letting adults come in? Like its just not students that are capable of shop lifting , oh & dont say its because it’s crowded, because nobody is ever in there (mostly) and y’all only send 2 students at a time, maybe if y’all are so worried about robbing put some cameras ? Low budget dont worry I’ll give y’all some. Unforgivable always happens & its just so annoying, we just want to buy things. Not “rob”

Everytime i go to this location it is dirty and or smells badand theres always a massive amount of clutter. The service is horrible. This last time will be my last i went in got a few items and got in line. BOTH registers wete open. 1 person was checking out and the other register was clear,the cashier for the 2nd register was talking to the 1st...i stood there for a good 4 min refusing to ask the cashier to do her job and acknowledge me. Finally after watching the other cashier check out 3 other customers i walked out. If i were a different kind of person id have taken my stuff with me since they obviously didnt care about making money.but i left my things. This is not the 1st time this has happened there.

This location is underwhelming. Employees don't care about the store at all. Dirty, items all over the floor. Don't know when or if they restock items. Just go to another location to make your purchases. Dollar General is usually a fun place to shop but not this location.

Awesome variety store with great staff and convenient hours ! In an area with many dollar stores this one is my go to they're always so friendly the staff alone keeps us coming back. They're always clean and well lit with everything in stock

The store is run by customers, if you want something you have to take it out the box, because the whole store isnt even stocked..the store manager has no clue how to run a store..terrible service..the only employee checking people out ,can't even pull up his pants.. shame on everybody working this store.

Thats my store! I love their flavored water & can only find this brand @ their stores. I buy them out ever time i go. The clerks know me "on sight" and say... Water Right? I smile & respond. ... Right!! 😊

I thought of walking to my spot that God has blessed me with but it's okay and then I call it home now he said even though it's not a house but he has prepared it for me with his skills but when my hands to me he did what he had to do to protect me stop going through rain and snow and he he says if I'm with you who can be against you I have a better place for you too publicity not just me all of this means to you for you may God watch over us and then we continue fighting the battle with him we are soldiers followers as followers maybe shoes too if not all you have to answer to him every leader who thinks he's a leader we'll have to answer to him I'm not no later right now how much older I follow him what do you think I was doing at the Dollar generals looking for the general Robert e Lee or the dukes of Hazzard general hahaha LOL LOL LOL no no I'll just relaxing I was just kicking back enjoying our conversation she has a lot for us and we can just learn how to be quiet for a bit find that spot find a spot going to closet somewhere just find a spot and he'll talk to you and he'll show you the way cuz he is the way Dollar general what do you think they call the general Dollar general for I can go there because it's cheap it's almost free people want to go to the mall if you want to go spend their money which is a really good that's when it becomes a really long don't you go to the Dollar general and the Dollar store The humble themself as I do blessings to you all much love to all of you
