I like this location better than the location on Meadowbrook. I'm a Guppy fan & I went to see what they offered. There was a nice selection of impressive looking fancy male guppies. There were many that I would've liked to have taken home but, one in particular caught my eye & I had to have him. He's been in my tank for about a week now & is a beautiful specimen... active, eating, healthy, & colorful. I am really happy with my experience there. The ladies there were very nice & very helpful. I enjoyed my time there & I'll be going back soon.

Fish selection was good, but seems conditions were not ideal; we bought two small bottom feeders, and I was pretty disappointed by the way they were handled to capture. One died in 48 hours, and I believe the two of them introduced ick to my tank - no less than five previously healthy fish had white spots and died within a week.Again, good selection and might be a great place for some advanced fish keepers, but for those of us who aren't experts, I recommend stick with your usual sources.

I love this place. Very friendly and helpful people. This place was awesome and love the fish they have. Found my new fish shopping and care place in dfw area. I recommend everyone to visit this place to buy the fishes. They receive every phone calls and help you out the best as they can. I was disappointed with other place about not answering the phone calls but this place was perfect with that too. Go to the same place the gps shows don't get confused. Thank you Champion fish. Will be in touch with you all.

Love this place. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Tanks are really clean and clear!!!! I was lucky enough to get a pair of Jack Dempsey that were already mating.

Better then all of the other independent fish stores I have visited, most of them are in Fort Worth. Terri and Mona are very nice and have great knowledge on the fish they keep. I will be back

Came out here with my daughter and we both loved this place and highly recommend it! We’re looking forward to our next trip for her birthday to get her axolotl, Nubs, a friend. The owners were very knowledgeable and helpful. I loved that they also bred their own fish. You can tell that they love what they do. Stop by if you get a chance! Super cool spot!

Didn’t know what to expect at first, but let me tell y’all I had a amazing experience! So many healthy, happy fish and a huge selection! The staff was incredibly helpful and made you feel at home, she didn’t rush me out the door like most places do. So many well maintained aquariums, you can tell they truly care about their fish. Highly recommend!

Hey y'all this Is Derrick from the last review.. so I called back and spoke with the woman who helped me with the purchase last night. She said she remembered me and the fish that I purchased. But say that she haven't been on the computer today. So yes they know exactly who I am, but didn't want a negative review. So I assume that was the short haired lady responding to my 1st review. Please do not shop with these people, not only are they rip offs ,but very dishonest. The only fish Store on Meadowbrook . Instead of replacing the fish or making things right with a customer, they would rather play the not my store game. Smh. So now I'm posting on all of my social media platforms keep the 48 bucks. Also I will be reporting you guys to the BBB ... so toall you hard working people. Again I repeat do not shop at this place very bad business DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY with these people. I bought a Electric blue Acura, last night from this place and they dropped the fish on the floor twice in front of me . The lady said the fish would be ok woke up this morning and the fish is just laying on its side. I have not even had this fish over 12 hrs and more than likely it's about to die. They charged me 48 bucks for the fish, and now they're saying they don't have a return policy. Please do not purchase any fish from this store because if something happens then you will just be giving your money away. This store doesn't replace any fish bought and I think it's just a rip off. Please I repeat do not shop this store. Yes definitely your store just called back and spoke with the lady and she said that she remembered me. But hey keep the money I will never shop there again. Now you have amnesia 👎🏾 I'm not going to go back and forth you guys should learn to take care of your customers.

Can't imagine how knowledgeable these people are and so amazing, I bought s fish tank for my daughter, T the lady who works there said, bring a sample of the water from the tank let's test your water first to make sure it's safe for the fishes, She saw my water wasn't ready she gave me a solution to add to the tank and asked my to bring another sample, Next day I took another sample, The water wasn't ready again, She told me to wait 2 more days and come, After 2 days I went back there and she did another test to see the water is ready now for new fishes, I liked how she patient she was with me, how she was amazing& knowledgeable about her job, I took a friend there to buy a turtle and again T. gave us all tips on how to care for a turtle. Love this place and my kids as well

We will be back! We had such a great experience and they were so patient with all of our questions. You know when walking in, they take care of all their fish. It was very clean and everyone there was friendly. I would highly recommend.

Fish very healthy. Only place that I can buy cardinal tetras and they survive. Yes I have excellent filtration and soft water. Just pay little higher prices compared to big box stores. Fish are well takin care for by owners. 2 pea puffers doing awesome also. God bless. Bryan

This place was simply AMAZING! Ive been in the hobbie my entire life and I went in there for the first time and was given a personal tour if which I learned even more about many of the species of cichlids ive been keeping for years! The fish all were healthy and tank raised here locally. I ended up buying the most beautiful jewell cichlid in impusle too which I dont not regret at all LOL. Dont not visit if you’re not prepared to buy haha the selection is hard to turn down and the prices are some of the best in DFW

Absolutely no offense to the owners. I give anyone credit for running a fish store. Yes, great variety of fish and the seem to be very healthy. Reason's for giving 1star review. 1, it smells extremely bad and probably smelling ammonia which is very unhealthy. Cat litter box they have there looks like it wasn't changed in month's. 2, there are roaches all over. 3, extremely unorganized. If I could suggest it would be to build aisles of one big stand for multiple same sized aquariums and a large one at the end of each aisle. Overall wide variety of fish but, extremely unprofessional and unpleasant for a customer. Also asked about a price one a big peice of texas holy rock they had and rock is sold per pound everywhere. There cleaning lady had to call them and ask about a price. She said they sell it as a whole. Umm.. of course but, it should be sold as a whole but per pound otherwise how is a customer supposed to know if there over or under paying. Again no offense to the owners. Overall this place gets 1 start because it is a very unorganized, extremely dirty and unsafe environment and also no customer service around to sell anything when ready to buy.

Exceeded our expectations! We went in knowing very little and Terry guided us through the whole process of owning/keeping fish in our small tank and answered all of our questions! I would highly recommend! Also, a very cool place to just go and look if you don't know what you want. So many cool fish, especially the Axe-a-woddle? And eel looking ones.

I have been getting fish, etc. from these folks for quite some time and I cannot say enough positive comments about them. They are extremely reasonable in their prices, very friendly, and more helpful than I ever imagined!It was our first aquarium and they literally took the time to walk us through every step to keep ours doing so well. I have always gotten quality fish, not like those from a pet store that die before you get home!We still go to them even though it is a longer distance than pet stores near us.Could not say enough great things about the product or the people!!

I brought my flowerhorn charli in for them to give refuge because she was becoming to aggessive and I learned alot about her..turns out that charli wasnt the breed of flowerhorn I thought she was because I paid alot for her as she was a baby from another store!! and I was over charged for it!... But The ladies at this place are very sweet and knowledgeable and I definitely recommend this place if your looking to get into the fish world great prices and an amazing abundance of different fish breeds!!! I will be returning in the very near future!! Thank you guys so much for helping and taking her in on short notice!!

This place is awesome. My wife and I visited Champions this past weekend and was pretty amazed at their selections. Extremely friendly people with a huge selection and not extremely overpriced like other places. We will definitely return for more fish or just to visit.

Interesting tropical fish store. A little hard to find but if you google the address it will take you right there. The staff and the owner are very polite and friendly. Lots to see so budget some time to taken in the verity.
