Our dog, Gus, has some mobility issues. I brought him to the clinic for his shots and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful with making everything easier for Gus to get in the clinic safely without any problems. Everyone was friendly and understanding and gentle with him. The entire staff at the clinic ‘knows what they are doing’ and Gus left happy and healthier. Thank you for another good experience!

FIVE STARS AND MY DEEPEST GRATITUDEThis is the BEST veterinary office I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately, how I came to find this office was out of sheer frustration with my two local vets office in Roanoke and Trophy Club. I had a senior pet who was losing muscle mass in his back legs, and instead of assisting me with in-home physical therapy, both offices refused. I called around to several other vets office, and Dr. Royse with Argyle Veterinarian Hospital was the only one willing to assist me. They were so amazing, they squeezed my senior guy in when he wasn’t even a regular patient. Even though it was a little too late to help my beautiful baby, the team was so compassionate and kind in helping me send him to his final resting place. I have no intention of bringing my other dog back to my two local vet’s office offices ever again. It’s clear to me that Trophy Club in Roanoke are in it for the money and not really interested helping clients work with the unique needs of their pets. I really cannot thank Dr. Royse and his staff enough for helping me out during a very emotional and heartbreaking time.

The staff at Argyle Veterinary Hospital is always so kind and ready to give the best care to my puppy! She is a diva and when she goes in to get groomed, Juan, goes above an beyond to provide her day at the spa! She is anxiety and Juan always makes her feel safe, loved, and knows how to handle her stress and anxiety that when I ask him how she did he always says she was a perfect girl! To top that she comes home looking like a princess and smelling so good! He is gifted at his craft and my pup and I adore him! Thank you Juan!

My horse Tango had a leg injury. Their vet visited Tango right away. She was wonderful with Tango and was able to diagnose the problem same day. Their staff is always nice and compassionate. Thank you Argyle Vet for always taking care of Tango!

Finding it increasingly difficult to recommend this place. Their services are good, but it seems very hard to establish a relationship with a vet and be able to see them when needed.Our last 2 visits have been with 2 different vets, and it wasn't the vet we originally used to visit here.We will continue to go here, but would not recommend for new visitors if a steady vet is important to you.

I have gone to this vet a handful of times now and they just seem to be more focused on getting as many animals pushed through as possible. My recent visit I was charged a ridiculous “fee” for my dog to have some shots done because apparently it’s clinic rules to see a vet for a rabies vaccine. Rules or not, it was $140 for both my dogs to see a vet when I didn’t schedule them for a wellness check and that information wasn’t told to me at booking. I declined the vet visit upon booking yet they still did it! This place is just out to nickel and dime you. The office manager is not friendly or willing to work with you at all. Maybe she should focus on training her people correctly so they all give the same information.

The entire staff - especially and including Dr. Diaz - are thorough, kind and professional. They patiently explained options and what each one would provide - so as to be able to make an informed decision. They are our favorite people and place to take our pets.

They are absolutely AMAZING! They TRULY care about your animals! The first time we came here I called so many animal hospitals and they were all booked including theirs as well. Our dog Lulu was having a seizure and I was crying and didn’t know what to do. Thank God I called them because they managed to fit her in even though they were all booked up. They were so very sweet and kind so that’s why I called them again yesterday with our other fur baby who had an emergency. Again, they fit us in to take care of our other dog. Such a sweet staff and they took such good care of her once again. HIGHLY recommend them!!

Very understanding and compassionate staff, I had to take my 11-12 year old bun bun in to be put to sleep. They don’t usually treat rabbits but they were closer to my house than any rabbit/exotic vet and my Roger was in pain. It was a somber, emotional experience but the staff made it as easy as possible. Thank you all.

They squeezed in an appt with my dog, on a saturday, even though I've never been there. It was a bit of an emergency and saved me from paying double or triple at the emergency vet. They are open til 4 on Saturdays! We were really impressed by the staff up front. All the vets and techs were great with my dog, who had 5 recent visits now. Very responsive with questions. They all seemed genuinely interested in my dog/animals in general. Great experience every time we've been.

This vet was amazing. I literally called very last minute and the doctor took me right away. The front office staff was super kind and understanding as well. The doctor was super helpful and informative. I plan on coming back with my Nala to make this place her office vet! :)

I just left this establishment with my dog after waiting 45 minutes still not having seen or heard from the vet. We were left in a small exam room that smelled like urine. My dog has anxiety issues for good reason and this was no way to treat her. When a “tech” finally came in she thought we were there for a blood draw instead we were supposed to be there for my dogs annual check up and shots. The vet we were scheduled to see was brittany diaz 🤷‍♀️ We left without being seen

I have been taking my pets to Argyle Veterinary Hospital for almost 4 years. I've never had a negative experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. I usually see Dr Dailey. She and the techs are so kind and gentle with my dogs! I trust them 100% to care for my pets.

Love this place. I am taking my dog since she was 8 weeks old. It’s been 5 yrs. We have no complaints. We got her spayed here and they did a great job. She comes here once a year. Dr Bitter is amazing. All the girls that work here are great.

The day our Chula was spayed, she was quiet, with an occasional whimper. Next day she was wagging tail & ready for a walk & good bowl of food. Following day, she was chasing squirrels & jumping on us; a happy, healthy puppy that recovered superbly! Making sure she gets her meds & has the “cone” while we are not monitoring.1 mile walk today after keeping me company in wood shop. Ate all her food & ready for evening “spoiling”. The care and attention paid to my 4 month old kitten who had a pretty bad femur break was so impressive. I instantly felt I could entrust Twix to their care. Her surgery was seamless. Also best price quote I got. I live a decent distance away, but I will never take Twix to any other vet office again.

My dog needed surgery and my regular vet couldn’t do it. I called Argyle Veterinary Hospital and not only did they get me in right away, their prices were way more affordable. They saved my dog and were all very nice- from the front office to the vet himself, everyone was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Argyle vets are very good. I believe they treat both pets and farm animals. My experience there is based on two different relatively minor surgeries they did on my 16lb dog 2 years apart. Both times he went under anesthesia. He was returned to me in excellent condition, the surgeries went perfectly and the bill was half the estimate I received from vets in Dallas and it’s burbs. I trust this practice and would have my dog treated there regularly if I lived closer to Argyle. Photo is 5 hrs after cherry eye surgery.

FIVE STARS!!! Dr. Dykstra’s compassion during our recent loss of our 15-year-old dog, Kona, was truly exceptional. He listened to our situation carefully, assessed Kona’s situation, and guided us through Kona’s final moments with respect, compassion, and empathy far beyond his years. Saying goodbye to a pet is never easy, and having been with us for 15 years, our kids have never known a day without Kona, so saying goodbye was extra challenging. Dr. Dykstra’s patience and kindness in those final moments with Kona left a lasting impact on our family. We are forever grateful for his extraordinary care and unmatched compassion. Dr. Bitter saved my rescue puppy's life a year ago, and this week he operated on her again for a gash on her foot. Both times the staff was great, and the results of this surgery are just as impressive. She's healing incredibly well. Thank you Argyle Vet Clinic!
