So I walked in with my daughter. We are the only people in the store. She picks 2 make up items and the cashier calls management over the intercom to follow us. She wants to look around because she just got paid and wants to spoil her self. Well they don't say a word to us but we end up checking out and still they don't say anything. How is it that they think it's okay to just to conclusions and automatically think we are not paying for our items? If I can give negative stars I would. They need to make changes. The cashier had a lip piercing. I think it's because I'm brown or because I just got off work and wanted to wear comfy clothes they Don't think we can afford there $7 make up? Seriously. I'm beyond mad.

I am going to an ENT for a chronic cough that I have had for 35 years. I’ve been to other ENTs and family doctors about the cough condition and no one has pin-pointed where it’s coming from. It’s not due to allergies, colds or influenza. This ENT thought it might have something to do with a neurological condition. He performed injections in my neck in hopes that it would make a difference. I wasn’t able to tell a difference so he said, in his experience a cough medicine has helped with other patients, so he prescribed it to me. He explained that it has a narcotic in it and he would have to be careful due to the narcotic. He gave me a 2 week prescription. After the first week I was able to feel a difference. The cough severity was reduced and the frequency was reduced as well. At my appointment yesterday, I reported to him how the prescription effected me. He was pleased, however, he said, because it has a narcotic in it he would only be able to prescribe it one more time. He told me he will give me a referral for a Pulmonologist, who he thought would be able to take me further with my healing. Today I received a message from the Walgreens Pharmacy saying they have an insurance issue so I returned the call and the Pharmacist started asking me questions on why I was taking it and what was my diagnosis, that this prescription is a controlled substance. I tried to explain to her that I have a chronic cough that this prescription was able to help reduce the frequency and severity of and she interrupted me and said there are many other medications that I can take for allergies and colds and she is not going to renew this prescription. She was very rude and would not listen to me. I told her I understand it has a narcotic, and my doctor said it is the last prescription and was referring me to a Pulmonologist. She said, very rudely, that I can wait until I see the Pulmonologist. You know, I don’t have a problem waiting for the Pulmonologist appointment and I don’t mind not taking the medication, but she acted like she knew it all and was very rude to me. My doctor is just trying help his patient and prescribed a medication that’s worked for others? Her attitude was NOT professional and she was very offensive. I was upset and shaken at the end of the conversation. My response wasn’t the best, but she was so rude to me, it was upsetting. I am not and never have been a drug addict in my life and certainly don’t plan on being one. I understand if a medication gets denied then that person gets red-flagged. Now, that’s not fair. I’ve never been addicted to or abused drugs, ever, and, now, at my age I’m getting flagged like I’m an abuser. That’s just wrong.

The low rating is due to the Pharmacy. They seam to be on island time every day we need to go there. Right now, have been waiting 15 minutes thus far with the same customer I front of us the entire time. Very inefficient management of time.

Do not shop here. They rip you off. The prices that are marked on the counter are not the same that come up at the register.I've shopped here like 10 times and every time I go there that happens. So you either have to hold up the line or go back and take a picture of the price to show it to the register and then they take another 10 minutes straightening it out it's just a waste of time.

Walgreens pharmacy can have better communication… I’m even signed up for text alerts and still never get them ( and yes I did reply YES to be able to receive them) I’ve been waiting on PRENATAL prescription for 4 weeks, they get rid of RX if it hasn’t been picked up in 12 days, but how am I suppose to know when it’s in. When my fiancé drove up to check on it the lady was never clear if our RX was there or if they still were waiting on it and when she asked if there was a car behind us of course there was she asked if we could pull around again but we still had questions and a new insurance card we needed to update in the system.. we felt very rushed and she said she would let us know today if they had it or not by phone… never received a phone call or text pulled up to check again still no RX. That being said Superior isn’t an accepted form of insurance. I would recommend another pharmacy.

I was very impressed with the pharmacy as well as the other members of the Walgreens team (make-up and front counter). Personally I was under a deadline with our insurance company and the pharmacy staff went above and beyond to help me with my situation. We were successful due to their diligence and commitment to health. And, all with a great attitude.I was also impressed at how well the pharmacy staff (all members) knew the community they were serving - ensuring to say hello even when they were helping someone else or asking about loved ones.I am grateful to have a great pharmacy in our town.

This is the worst Walgreens I've dealt with in Texas.I told the pharmacy not to bill my insurance for a prescription, as it wouldn't be covered. I told them to use "Good RX" and gave them the information, but they didn't. They billed my insurance and i got a notice saying insurance wouldn't pay for it.It took me 30 minutes to get pharmacy to do my prescription the right way. Then i ask them to keep it in my profile, but they can't do that. Their computer doesn't know how.Well I'm going to CVS, as their computers can do that and they have better service.

I needed to pick up some morphine and the pharmacist Pria knows that I do not abuse the drug in any way. The other pharmacist on the other hand, the male pharmacist refused to hand over the medicine even though my pain management doctor called, he said they didn’t call. While I love the prices and everything this is something I could sue for. That is discrimination and it was not pleasing. To any others that read this please take my word and do not put up with it. I have terrible side effects from taking it and suddenly stopping. I have had excruciating pain and hope to set things right.

I've used Walgreens for years. The past few years their drive-thru has been a lifesaver. I am disabled and walking or being out in the heat causes severe pain, fatigue and heat exhaustion or, if I'm not careful, heat stroke.The staff of every Walgreens I've ever been to have always been kind, helpful and resourceful no matter how busy they were. Until yesterday my only complaint has been the cost of medication.I purchased Walgreen's member plan a few months ago after checking the price of my medications. It helped me know what my costs would be as well as gave me savings I could use elsewhere. I also used GoodRX if that price was lower.Using GoodRX has always been easy, I just slide my phone into the drive-thru drawer and tell the pharmacy to swipe for the next code. Never had a problem.Yesterday, Teresa, at the Aransas Pass location couldn't be bothered to swipe for the GoodRX codes and made me come inside. It was hot, it's July in Texas. I had also not slept due to painsomnia the night before so I was exhausted and in pain.I had all my coupon codes ready to check with Teresa but she was in a hurry to check me out. It was a struggle to check prices with her and she has been the most unfriendly, unhelpful person I've ever met at Walgreens.The fact that GoodRX had a couple of codes wrong or Walgreen's wasn't honoring these codes made it worse. I am writing to GoodRX about this too.By the time I left Walgreen's yesterday I could barely walk. I was so overheated all I could do was sit in my car and drink my water before I could run any other errands.Maybe Teresa was having a bad day. I get it, we all have them. I hope that was it because I would hate for someone else, who is disabled, to have to deal with her.Not all disabilities are visible. If you don't already, maybe you could do some training with your employees so they understand that some people don't have disability aids like wheelchairs or some just don't have the energy to walk into your stores.My autoimmune disease is Hashimoto's and it causes a severe fatigue along with some other pretty serious issues. I also have other chronic illnesses due to my Hashimoto's. I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere but please help your future disabled customers.

The Western Union inside (as stated by a walgreens employee) will allow you to send but not receive during a national crisis. Who's decision was this? I'm national guard and have limited time off and limited transportation.

50% of the reason i come here is the location. The other 50% is because of the cashier Judy. Idk what y'all pay her but it's not enough. She remembers everyone's name and it makes it like going to a general store. Judy for governor.

Nice place, clean, and good selection. But the prices for some things are substantially higher than someplace like Walmart. Some of the same brand supplements are twice as expensive.
