SSBAAC is the BEST pet adoption center I've ever visited and adopted from. Over 25 years and 4 states, I've adopted 5 dogs.SSBAAC ranks #1. The staff is very friendly and most helpful. The facility is very clean, no smells, great outdoor runs and indoor areas. The dogs are very well cared for with current shots, vaccines, neutering, microchipping, and feeding a healthy brand dog food. Their adoption fees are reasonable. I highly recommend Sandra Sue Benson Animal Adoption Center.My puppy is very healthy and happy.

Staff was very helpful and seemed to care for the animals. Best thing was that the cat areas didn't stink! We rejected another local shelter because of it's strong odor.

Found a kitten and had it vetted and they were able to take it in and in less than 3 weeks it has been adopted out. Sam and Devon are great and they take very good care of the animals and the facility. They have cats and dogs that are in need of homes.

Our experience was horrible. We picked out our puppy, did paperwork, said we had to wait till over holidays and give them time to check out the puppy. We come back and puppy gone and our paperwork gone.

Had a wonderful young man show me the available dogs for adoption, while the original one I had wanted was not what I was looking for, I found my baby boy Scrappy Doo and he's awesome. They are very caring people who work there. Thank you for my forever baby boy!

Never bothered to answer their phone or call us back even though we were sitting at the gate while people came in and out of the building. How can you adopt out animals if you do not let people see them or return phone calls?

I'm a regular volunteer. I go twice a week and I can say the animals are treated exceptional here. But they still need forever homes so come adopt!Plenty of cats and dogs needing homes as of 10/30/2016

They do a great job and love each animal. Volunteers are always welcome to help in areas like web pages, or staffing the center so it can stay open longer hours.

Very good place I personally adopted a cat for my daughter and they are bonding great and my daughter loves her cat but they close too early I get out at 2 in work and sometimes I have to go there but when I do they are closed and the only day I can go is Thursday but I am sometimes busy and don't have enough time I just think they should close and little late like at 4

All places can learn from this place on how to treat animals they really treat them as they truly are a wonderful contribution to our society Animals help us and they take care of them they have indoor kennels they walk them they find good homes they aren't just like anyone else they really really care for the animals and show love to the animals like it should be
