It's is convenient when u need something but. Every time I go here I end up with expired food! I have had my husband take it back. U shouldn't have to worrie about checking due by dates when u need to just grab n go. Also everyone's always on their phones or its more important to them to hold conversations with each other or just standing there waiting for someone to check out. It's ok to leave and check dates of products around the register while no one is there. They really need to start focusing on checking products and maintaining customer service it's ur job u choose it. It's not ok to sale expired food that people can get sick off of. Management needs to do better! This is why we just always go to dollar general.

Highest prices! 1st bag of chips I picked up were 3 months past the “best if used by date”, small bottles of condiments were the same price as everyone else’s large bottles! Spent $120 and didn’t even cover the bottom of the basket. Only reason I even went here was because the other two places were full of the smart customers and I had nowhere to park. Expect to pay triple what you would pay for the same thing at other retailers.

The prices are higher than you will find 20 miles away. The produce is still limited but they are improving somewhat. They now offer rotisserie chicken. They do not put a time on the rotisserie chicken. They may have a few bakery products but not sure how good they would be. I buy frozen bakery products. We do not do our weekly shopping here because of the high prices. We do watch the sale paper and coupons.

Love the store. Young Hispanic kid could learn some manners though. Unfolded bulk plastic bags stuck to my grocery bags. I pull all them off to keep save Lawrence Bros money because they're still new! He finished checking out my groceries and just stands there while I load up my groceries. He gives me the wrong change. I say thank you. He says nothing. I love stopping by to get my groceries but he doesn't help make it pleasant. I go through Stanton daily.

Every time I go in there, something is always higher at the register than what their sign says. I have to remember the exact price of everything I buy because something is going to ring up wrong. Today I got so frustrated with having to correct another price, that I didn't notice that the girl didn't even scan the coupon I had laying on the product I was buying. She actually picked up the coupon and put it in the sack with the food. I only go in there if I need something and it can't wait for a trip to Midland or Big Spring.

Great bunch of folks...and I have a product in the store West Texas Pepper traders "bread and butter Jalapenos." Even though I live in Greenwood, they don't hold it against me and let me shop there. LOL....Went in the other day and very orderly and very well stocked during this virus. Also, I tip my hat to the employees and manager....you are there for us!!!!

The employees and management are pretty good. Usually the cashier's not so much, many of them are learning basics of customer service. Overall a pretty good store.

A great break from the cluster and desperation of Midland and Big Springs. Half way in the middle in Stanton, by a Sonic and Stripes for field hands it's a Mecca. Easy access from 137 off 20 or Bus. 20. IGA like your Grandma's country store. Very good meat prices. Good produce.

They have way overpriced food,.. one has to pay close attention to the expiration dates on the products. They take full advantage of being the only supermarket for 30 miles. Not even close to being like an HEB.

It's okay, it's pricey because they know they are the only grocery store within 45 miles so people get stuck having to go there . What makes it okay are the employees that are always nice and helpful . EDIT ..I'm now an employee for them .I feel the same as before. 🤣

It is ok. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Occasionally I do get some products that have passed their "use by date" , but the store has always replaced it for me.

If you can, drive to Midland for groceries and skip IGA. Stop here for jarred and canned goods only and check those expiration dates, seriously. Dark, overpriced, and dingy, with old produce and questionable safe-zone temps.
