2 years ago i heard about this mom and pop supermarket called Brookshires and never been to it. So on my vacation recently i went to take a visit!! The store is really big and strucures looks really cool!!! The Staff are Very Friendly and Work really hard!! Inside the store it gave me a vibe of Walmart + IGA Rowes Stores setting. The logos and letters were pretty cool!! i found some inexpensive chicken tenders and i gotta say they were pretty pretty good!! rating 1000000 star rating!!! while shopping i manage to find Mountain Dew Throwback with Real Sugar!! That flavor alone nobody carrys in my area and these people got it which is a bonus!!! :) I recommand people come check out this supermarket!! Very well Worth it!!

First, I can’t say enough about how great the employees are in this store! I think it’s Josh at the deli who has made tenders fresh and hot for us several times, when there were only a few left. Today, he put the 8 requested in a box to the side while I finished shopping. So nice! The cashier was a courteous young guy, whose name I tried to recall (begins with K…?) I was rushing a bit, and he patiently said, it’s ok. I’ve got this. Everyone is courteous here.Second, the food looks fresh and delicious! We had been less impressed with the produce department in the past, but today, everything was fantastic! The bakery is always perfection. The meat dept is well stocked and fresh as well.Great store, highly recommend!

Went in today and saw the big display of strawberries and blueberries that showed both of them being “$1.97”. When I went to check out the strawberries were marked as “$3.49” so I told the cashier that it was marked up as $1.97, so I told her to get the manager. When the manager came he went back to the display and took a picture of the display and his sole response was “unfortunately it is misleading” and he walked away even though I told him he needed to correct it. Horrible service do not recommend.

The young lady (Shayla) who was checking groceries was chewing gum, excuse me chomping on her gum. There is nothing worse than listening to a person smacking away. Poor customer service!

If the self checkout is the only option, y’all need to improve that process. It didn’t like me using my own bags. It didn’t like me placing my filled bags in my cart to make room on the very small bagging area. It couldn’t read the bar codes on any fruit. Very frustrating.

Brookshires always had a different experience as far as grocery shopping goes, it's a good stop for quick in and outs, if the prices weren't so much more compared to other places I'd actually enjoy shopping here

Dominic at self checkout gave superior customer service! He made sure the bags were pre-opened for customers! Checked on everyone periodically to fix issues or questions! He made eye contact! He fixed my rewards card phone number not working! This is the great customer service that you usually do not get anymore!!!! I am so glad he either does!!! Hopefully your company is training your employees to give this kind of service!! Dominic should be a customer service trainer!!!!! I would try to recruit him if I still ran a retail store!!!!

Staff is always friendly. Wish they carried more whole wheat bagels. So much space is devoted to wine/beer that could hold food. Selection can be limited, so often supplement by going to out of town grocery stores.

Steven at the gas station is great!! Always remembers me and what cigarettes I want and skinner always has a smile on his face and loves to talk to me :) and the older woman (sorry don't know her name) is very nice. :)These are my favorite people in anna besides my mom and julie!!

There are several reasons why I enjoy this grocery store. Yes, it’s a lot smaller than other stores. That’s one of the reasons why I like it though. It is not a madhouse of people shoulder to shoulder constantly pushing each other trying to find the cheapest deal on something. It is much more casual and relaxed. Also, 99% of their shopping carts have proper wheels on them. I have completely abandoned Kroger for this reason. 100% of Kroger grocery carts are garbage with busted wheels. Brookeshire’s works hard to keep their grocery carts. Nice. I appreciate that and shop in their stores as a result. Even though our supply chain is still challenged, Brookshires does a good job of keeping the shelves stocked with plenty of inventory. I respect and appreciate them for that. The staff is always nice and courteous, and will even direct you to a shorter line when you’re trying to check out. Five stars.

Just wanted to share my experience, I stopped in yesterday to grab some flowers when I came out my car wouldn’t start. I stopped one of the guys working there and ask for help, he went to great lengths to help me and I’m truly thankful for his help. Thank you again for your help ♥️

Still a great place for a quick shopping trip. Produce is always pretty good here. The coffee bar is a nice addition. Glad that the points system is working they way it should again.

One day I was so tired & could barely carry my groceries to the car , I asked Dominic so nicely could he help me & said yes so nicely & helped me with no problem ! I was so happy he was so very respectful ! Made my shopping experience 10x better

The past several visits to this store have been very poor. There are a couple of exceptions, but the majority are rude and careless to customers. I stop at this store on a minimum of four times a week and will not return after today. The young lady getting ready to leave could have told my a little nicer that her lane was closing so she could go home. To often when you get to the register, the baggers and checker talk and don’t even acknowledge that there is a customer there. It has gotten even worse since the cart returns have been added. Store is clean and has a good selection, but that’s not enough to overcome the repeated poor customer service.

Wonderful grocery store. Well stocked and clean. Can't give five stars tho .....they like to hire folks that are handicap...no issue except.....the very rude/weird ones. The last 5 times I have been, I get the same guy. You can tell he is special but he throws your groceries in the bag with other items then looks at you and laughs as he slams your bag in the basket. It is just weird and inappropriate for the public. Anna has lots of social media pages and he is on it with numerous complaints. I would rather go to Walmart and self check then go there and have all my items man handled with no care, even when I have had to ask for my items to be replaced.One bad apple can definitely ruin a business.

Although their prices are a little high on some things, the convenience of the location, the fact they have stuff in stock, and the ability to get in and out make it worth it.We prefer going here to braving the craziness at Walmart 80% of the time. Plus the staff is friendly and helpful!

Thank Goodness for Brookshire's in Anna, TX, and their friendly, professional, considerate staff! When you forget the cranberry sauce and it's YOUR MAIN CONTRIBUTION to your first Thanksgiving with your in-laws, it takes a well-prepared, smiling, helpful team to rescue you from certain doom (or at LEAST the neverending notoriety at future family gatherings!)!Seriously, I have to give this location SERIOUS kudos! They were well-stocked and, despite being among the few people having to work on a major family holiday, even abbreviated hours, every single person I came across working there was friendly and eager to help (LITERALLY smiling as they responded to any customer who approached, and some even proactively approaching customers to ask if they could assist in any way). They truly seemed happy to be able to help their community.Whoever is the training manager and hiring manager for this store should be recognized for a job more than well-done. The last few years have been difficult for everyone, and while these days most stories we see in the media and online make it seem like everyone is wearing misery, resentment, and entitlement like a favorite sweater, these folks genuinely reminded me of what holidays past were like in the sales and service industries.Brookshire's corporate offices, you should provide every team member at this location with superhero capes! They genuinely saved the day, and I'm sure it was so for more than just my family!
