I had been taking both my dogs to Anna Pet Grooming for about 8 months. We had been happy with the services provided and thought we found a great grooming place. We picked up our Goldendoodle the last time in March, and he was completely shaved down to the skin. He looked like a skin crawler. In the process, his nipple was cut off and had two nicks around/on his private area. There was no need to shave his whole body down. We acknowledged the little bit of mat under his neck and told her that, but his coat was not matted and explicitly said we do not want him shaved after she said "she would see what she could do" in a snarky tone as she made a face. He had a shorter coat to begin with, not the shaggy doodle look. I understand when a dog is matted and needs to be shaved, but not the case. So not only was our dog shaved down to his absolute skin, she cut him in the process where it should have never been that short to begin with so shouldn't have happened. They have a texting system and she could have let us know "she had to" and we would have gone and picked him up. If that were the case, we would have done it ourselves and saved the $120. The groomer, and come to find out the owner was very rude and unprofessional at drop off and pick up and absolutely could have been better. Maybe a bad day, but still not okay as a business owner. I sent a long email explaining our frustration and attached pictures and received no response. I tried to give her the opportunity to make it right. I also followed up with the manager and waited for the owner to respond to my email which she did not. We never had issues and thought we had found such a great place, but the last visit did us in. Because of the shaving as well, all the little hairs got down into his ears causing an ear infection which cost us at the vet, as well as having to go buy stuff to tend to his cuts from the grooming. So needless to say, we aren't returning. I've never been so upset or had an experience like that with a groomer. Just be aware that if the owner is your groomer and appears to be in a mood or has a rude tone, turn around and walk out.

Today was our second (maybe third) visit, and the first time I brought all three whose fur is long, and they were way overdue. Amber is wonderful. I don't worry how they look, I just want short hair, but she made them beautiful! One of them had gotten chilly, and when I came to pick them up, he was in a cushy dog bed with a little blanket over him, snoring away. Amber also pointed out that my little old mostly deaf, mostly blind poodle had a lot of moles. I knew he had a couple, but now there are a lot, so next chance, he is going to see his friend Dr. Walker next door. I wish I could write as eloquently as the review I just read, and that patron said what I and probably everyone who has visited this clinic experienced. THANK YOU!!!!

The ladies at this grooming salon are the most patient, especially with my shedding machine. No daily brushing and salmon oil and treats can get rid of enough fur. My Husky always came home stressed out from a big box pet store, but since finding Amanda, he comes home happy.

Be advised, we've only been here once. Normally, I wouldn't write a review until the third or fourth time around, but I, and I suspect most people, have a pretty good bead on the place right from the get-go.This is a small, intimate grooming salon that is clearly run by folks who love animals and maybe especially dogs. With signs like "Dog hair don't care!" and quitting times like "5ish" and "until we're done", you understand the place is very informal and maybe a way of life for the owner(s) more than a job. And, it's a mess! But, in the best possible way, with tufts of dog hair scattered here and there and the employees going about grooming, bathing, trimming and moving the clientele in and out of holding pens, there isn't much room for humans to stand around. It has a very "daycaresque" feel to it. You know, that mostly-controlled chaos vibe...Highly recommended for loving service and an alternative to the clinical feel and attitude of most groomers housed in veterinary clinics.

Excellent groomer. They were so patient with my anxious and somewhat difficult doodle. The area was bright, cheerful, clean and well organized.Amber was kind and patient with Tucker, she didn't rush him through.Thanks Amber, you definitely went the extra mile.

Great experience with Anna pet Grooming! My doggie, Rico, was calm and friendly with the groomer. Where as at other places he would be very anxious. He looked so cute when I picked him up . Great job!!!!

I have had my German Shepard and Shitzu/Maltese groomed by Amanda and Carissa and they both did a great job. Very professional and pricing is great. I’m very picky about who grooms my furbabies, so I’m extremely happy to have found them when we moved to Melissa!

Be sure to give pricing before hand. Don't have a customer show up 200 dollars over what they were told. Second don't say every pet is hard to groom when other grromers have said your pet is normal. work is decent but professionalism with pricing is not good. Make sure you do all you say you have done. Like cleaned in the ears and cut nails. Good luck to others and your business
